Beautiful Day Again!!!

Good day at work!! Tomorrow is weekend, yah!! Work has been going great lately, hope I don't jinx it! Even though the twins lost!! I got together with Suzie yesterday and it is so wondeful!! Will post more when I have time to breathe this weekend, since I have to work early FOREVER, when I will go back to days, is anyone's guess!! Love ya all!

God is Good!!

Isn't he? I had a beautiful day today! Work went fabulously, especially training this morning. The group is fun, so it was all good. Apparently she is from Eden Valley, so I am training my high school rival!! Just kidding! Then after training we had our meeting and it went great, we didn't get done with it until like 5ish, and then I went to lunch and was done at 6:00, but I did stay later, so it was good. I miss all of my co-workers by working days! But hopefully soon I will be back to my regular schedule!! :) Then I met up with Suzie and we've decided to meet weekly, so it has been so wonderful to be with another Christian, and talk about anything and everything. It is wonderful! We've been kind of like prayer partners, so that has been wonderful!! We also went to the end of VBS at the church, and that was great to! All in all, it was a great day and just glad it's Wednesday, and that much closer to the WEEKEND! Yah! although, I might be working Saturday, but that would be for the Kirby Sell-a-thon, so it will be fun, food, and games and not a normal work day!! We'll see!! Well, have a good night everyone! The great weekend continues!!!

Beautiful day today, of course not weather wise, but right now I feel good. I feel like I have everything ready for the week. Usually it takes me until the middle of the week to feel good, and then just wanting the weekend to come (if I don't work!). It was another day of mother and daughter. We went to church together this morning, even though she had to wake me up FOR A LONG TIME!! She kept honking at me in the driveway, we were only 5 minutes late mom!!!! :) When we got home the plan was to lay out by the pool, since the weather was icky yesterday, and it stayed icky. Now it's supposed to be nice this week, perfect since I work all week. (I hope you get my sarcasm!!) So I spent the day reading, watching the Twins win and get closer to the Central Divison title (Yah!!) and just being lazy. In all of my laziness, I feel like I got a lot done. Now for some good spiritual news. I just started reading Revelations, and before I started in the Message Bible it said it was going to be hard to read, and if you skip over stuff you don't understand, watch out, BUT...... I hope I am not jinxing this, but I am on Chapter 3 and understanding it. I will have to converse with Jackie and see if I actually am, but I was very excited. Soon I will be done reading the whole bible a chapter a day, which I am glad about, and now excited to start over since I have the Message bible to help me out. Jackie bought it for me for my last birthday as soon as I was getting into the New Testament, bad timing, so it will be nice to dig deeper. At church this morning I talked to Suzie and we are planning to meet at Bela's (coffee shop in Kimball, I know what you are thinking!!) so that will be fun. I kind of feel like we are playing prayer warriers, which is a great feeling. She also has some friends who go to Campus Crusade on SCSU campus, and they want me to come too, it starts when school does, but I am very excited and I really need something spiritually, so it will be GREAT!! Please pray for me this week. I am kind of in charge of a meeting on Wednesday, with my training group, which is just Todd and Kasey, so I know it will go fine, but I kind of want to knock there socks off, since it's the first meeting we are having, since I suggested it, and I do have some good points, but my proofreader (sister Jackie) decided to go out of town for the week, so hopefully it goes okay! Well, nothing much else to add to my LONG post!!! So, I think I am going to get some sleep. We don't have any new hires to train tomorrow, but I am working a little later, so it will be nice to sleep in, since I have to work early for the next 2, maybe 3 weeks! I think I will have a party at work when my time is up!!! Pray for training and the meeting!! Good night!!

Super Fantastic Day today!!

It was just me and mom, and with the weather bad we were stuck inside. I watched TV, read a book, and did ABSOLUTELY nothing!! It was great. I slept in and woke up when I wanted to, and not by my stupid alarm clock. The twins won today, so that was pretty cool!! Nothing much else to say, but I better get to bed since I have church in the morning!! Love ya!! I promise a long post is coming!! Ha ha!

Good day today!

Very tired!! Ripped my contacts, so i'm wearing glasses!! Which stinks! Pray for me at work. and if I keep complaining, tell me to shut up because there are more important things going on in my backyard (okay, my sister's backyard, if you want to get technical!) Nick got evicted from big brother! SUCKS!! Twins lost, ick! Did I mention i'm tired?!?! I'm going to bed, and going to enjoy the whole weekend with my mom!! Love ya! Will post longer post later!!

What a BEAUTIFUL day!

The Lord is amazing, isn't he? Work was very good today, so I was glad about that. after talking to my training manager about some concerns I had about my training abilities, he said, "Not to worry. It's not you, it's her!" Her being the girl I am training. She did better today, but I thought it was my fault, she wasn't doing so well, and Todd was saying it wasn't, since the guy I am training is doing well!!! Yah!! Still can't believe the whole bridge incident. dad told me president bush is coming on Saturday, so that is pretty crazy. Please continue to pray for the families and everyone involved in this. THE BEST PART: I asked Suzie Murray (girl from church, good friends with my sister and brother!) to hang out with me today, and we went to Mongo's grill, which was fabulous, and talked for hours. It was great. It was so wonderful to open up about anything spiritual with someone that is not a family member, I still want to talk to you too jackie! When I found out that we had been there for hours, I could not believe it. It's so hard to work in such a negative atmosphere, but then to be with a Christian who is so hopped up on the Lord, was great. She is such a blessing, and is having me pray and think about some opportunites down the road. I am so looking forward to this weekend. With working early, I am so looking forward to sleep in. also, since dad is going to cleveland, it is going to be a mom and daughter type weekend, so I am excited about that! i love you all!!

Tragedy of Historic Proportions!

i cannot believe this! The bridge on 35W in the cities collapsed tonight. It always seems when I hear about horrible things, like Sept 11th, I don't believe it, until I see on TV, which is so scary!! The most horrible thing though, is that I HAD A HORRIBLE DAY AT WORK! I feel awful for saying this because it seems so petty compared to everything else that has happened today. I am going to tell you about it, however: I feel that sometimes my managers take advantage of me. My new hires are not doing so well, I was left alone to take care of everything while the managers were in a meeting (even though I am not a manager!) my new hires are panicking and I can't help them because I need to help everyone else! When the managers came back, I went on break and literally cried for 10 minutes in the bathroom. I feel so lonely, and i need prayers right now, as do the victims of the bridge accident. Maybe this is selfish of me, but since it is my blog, I am going to let loose with things going on with me. I just am not sure about my future at my job, at least when I got home I found out my sister and my dad's relatives in the cities are all counted for. I think when I heard about the accident the first thing I thought of was my sister, and she is safe, so PRAISE THE LORD!!! I couldn't imagine anything worse happening at work, until I thought of maybe losing my wonderful sister. I LOVE YOU JACKIE!! I think everyone should be praying for all the victims. I was talking to my dad tonight, and he didn't have a good day at work either, so it helps to talk with him because we both feel that complaining about work is not what the focus should be because of what is going on in the cities. I need to go to bed. I love you all! Tomorrow I am excited because I am getting together with a girl named Suzie from my church, and she knows about a group of Christians that gets together at SCSU during the school year, so I am excited that we can do that together soon. PLEASE PRAY! I did love the story of the school bus with the kids during the bridge accident, and that they were all safe, so I thought that was so wonderful! In his holy name!!
