What a fantastic day!!

and its Saturday, and hits hot out, and I had to work! but it was so SLOW!! YAH, awesome stuff! :)

Love when its slow and stress free! After work I went to church and it was about diving into the bible, it was like God was sending me a message to not give up reading, because I will understand more and more as I read it more. So gotta keep chugging away, I've been kind of worried to read it because I'm in Revelation, but its so confusing! so hopefully I can keep going. Its cool to say though that I've almost read the whole bible twice. I just love how a certain message is directed right at you, its crazy! like "I get it God, thanks!"

and dad's doing good, but Jackie's roomate Des was in a car accident and broke her pelvis in 5 places, OUCH! so please pray for her. its crazy how much my summer has been about medical things!

I'm just excited to go home and hang out with the family tomorrow, and I have monday off too! WOOT WOOT! well have a great weekend!

Happy 4th of July!!!

The fun weekend continues!!! :)

So yesterday was spent at the pool, and some of my dad's relatives came up to hang out which is always fun!!

After the swimming, we had family movie night, which was fun! We watched Taken and Toy Story 3.

Then today we went to the Twins game, which was so much fun, and we kicked there butts 7-0!!! YAH!!!! Danny Valencia hit a 3 run bomb, which made Sam happy. I love that she likes him so much!! Her and my brother are so cute together!

After the game we came home and swam some more, and I was hoping my dad would want to check out the fireworks, but he wasn't feeling up to it, BUMMER! but he seems to be doing better day by day, so that is great! :)

Have a great 4th, and please remember the true reason for this holiday, because of all the brave men and women fighting for our freedom!! GO USA!

Its the 4th of July weekend! YAH!

Today was so much fun, I hung out at the house with the family and Sam! and we swam and got sunburnt (okay, that was just me!) but it was so much fun!! :)

Then the craziest thing happened, I went to church tonight (not crazy, since i go on Saturday nights!) and we had an open mike type sermon where you could go up and share prayer requests, praises, anything, and I was the first one up to share about my dad, it was crazy. I never do this type of thing, and to be the first one up, that was CRAZIER yet! Of course I cried, but it felt good to get it off my chest, because I think dad feels like I'm hindering him, so when I go home, I try to make a point of swimming and getting out of his way!! :)

But he did so great today! He has these really ugly yellow socks, and he calls them his booties, which is so cute! I just want this whole thing to be over with, and I know his recovery is really just beginning!!! AHHHH!!!

well happy 4th everyone!! have fun and be safe! still not sure what I'm gonna do, but I will probably go to the twins game! :)

Fuzzy, our neighbor died

He was such a great guy. I am so bummed. He always came over, and he was HILARIOUS!! so many funny jokes and stories. My sister and I went to the wake tonight, and I could tell my dad was bummed that he couldn't make it.

We're gonna miss you Fuzzy! (we'll have to name our next animal after him; trust me, he would think that was funny!)

Most recently I can recall spying on the neighbor with him! haha! :)

Day 2 of recovery!

YAH DADDY!! He's doing so great! I love him so much! I cannot believe I haven't updated my blog, I've been updated FB like crazy! Dad is doing great! He made it through surgery, and we saw him right after, which I'm not going to lie, was hard!!! But he's getting back to his usual self!!

I am wanting to write a book about this, from my perspective, and share it with Dad and maybe others that have family going through this, to prepare them. I am thinking of calling it The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly of Triple Bypass Surgery, although dad thought a good name would be Triple Bypass Surgery: The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly! I think I like his title better! :)

Happy Father's day to my da-da!!

I love him so much!!! His surgery is going to be on Wednesday, and his birthday is on Thursday. ICK!

But we had fun today, and then we all prayed around dad, so that was really nice. It makes me feel better, and I got the day off, so I can be with my family! PRAISE the LORD! :)

Triple Bypass Surgery

Now we know the diagnosis, and I have never done so much free research. This is concerning my dad, by the way.

I am so sad, nervous, scared, and just want him to get through the surgery and be ready for Florida in December. He's been planning this for so long, and his doctors are so optomistic because he walks alot and he's healthy. Which brings me to another point, its time to get myself healthy. Heart problems are very hereditary, so this means we need to get cracking on all of us being healthy. So gooooooooooooo team healthy!!
