Twins and skating weekend!!

Twinsfest was so much fun!!! I actually bought a piece of the metrodome roof, since they had to replace it last winter because of the collapse!!! we got to see Joe, Denard Span, Justin Morneau, and Drew Butera!!! very fun to see the players, as Twinsfest means that the season is starting pretty soon, and I am sure that we are going to have a much better season this year, than last. Besides in 1986 we had the worst record, and then we won the world series in 1991, so I think it is perfect!

Then today was skating day!! so fun, love to watch it! My favorite Alissa didn't win, but she still got second, so that's good that she is still going to worlds!

sadly though I did take all my Christmas decorations down, which stinks! but I am excited because I am getting lunch tomorrow with Lisa, so it will be fun to catch up with her!

Good times celebrating sisters birthday today!! its always fun with our family!!! Kevin gave Jackie a birthday card of just some scratch paper laying around the house, and wrote on it! so random, but so kev!! FUN FUN FUN!! sad that the weekend is almost over! :(

Its been a fun weekend, so far!!

I celebrated Christmas with Sara last night, which was so much fun!!! sad that Christmas is now "officially" over!!! fun to have a slumber party!! Then I was going to meet up with my CM buddies for supper tonight, but that didn't happen, so its just been a nice lazy Saturday night. I watched Tangled, which I LOVE! and tomorrow I'm gonna hang out with the family for Jackie's birthday! FUN TIMES!!!! Can't wait for next weekend as its TWINSFEST time!! YAH! :)

You know how when you have a day off, and you have a list of things you need to get done....

and then you don't do them!!! its kinda stinky, and it just feels like I accomplished nothing!! ugh!!! Oh well, going to bed. It was sure nice to have a day off in the middle of the week, and not have to work on Saturday!! YAH!! so excited because we are celebrating Christmas (me and Sara) on friday and saturday, and then I'm going to the parents house to celebrate sisters birthday!! FUN!!!! can't wait! its almost the weekend, we can make it! :)

Its the weekend!!

Its actually been a really good week!! YAH! works been going fairly well too, which is a plus! Today was great, especially considering it was Friday the 13th, (knock on fake wood, which is our front desk!) haha!

So Jill (friend from CM) came and got her eyes checked, then we went out for supper, which was great to play catch up!!!!

And now the rest of the weekend is me playing "catch up" with my pillow, and not setting an alarm!! WAHOO!! i am so thrilled, I hope I don't sound like a complete loser for being so excited! but I just need to catch up on sleep, so off I go (until my bladder wakes me up!!) so annoying!!!

Great end to the week!!

Man work has been so fun lately, just the jokes and everything. One of our patients was considering going back to Contact lenses, and I was hoping she didn't need like a refresher class, and I said to one of our doctors "I hope its like riding a horse" what I meant to say was "I hope its like riding a bike" or "getting back on the horse!" while we both cracked up laughing, it was HILARIOUS!!!

Good times! Today was crazy, but good crazy. I'm starting to like when its steady; not super crazy and not super slow. Yesterday it was kind of like spring cleaning around the office, which is always nice to spruce up the place.

But its finally the weekend, and now no more Saturdays for me until February, which is so nice. I don't remember the last time I had two days in a row off, SO WAHOO!!!!!!

Don't you hate when you go to church (not that part) and you just cannot get focused on the message. There are some Sunday's (or saturdays in my case) where I am just lead my the Holy Spirit and the worship is amazing and the message inspiring, but tonight I just felt like I wasn't there. Its so sad, I know I need to work on praying beforehand to get my mind to focus. I have been doing more bible reading and devotions, my parents got me a great devotional for Christmas.

I am just glad to have tomorrow off, another day to relax, although I will probably do a bunch of cleaning, and its a skating day tomorrow (mean lot's of skating on TV) which is always exciting for me!! I hope you all have a great weekend!!!

Christmas 2011

I can't believe I haven't written up my review for Christmas! It was so much fun!!! very chilled and relaxing with the fam. I couldn't believe there wasn't any snow though, not sure of the last time that has happened in Minnesota!!

We watched movies, and ate junk food, and then we went to Christmas Eve services, and then we were just waiting on Kev and Sam, since they were at her mom's house, and when they got back, we did the traditional Christmas story reading out of the bible, and then we opened presents. FUN times!!! I got lots of cool stuff, and it was just fun to hang out with the family!! dad got another school picture of mom, which is now a tradition, that we must have happen year after year! i love that she still gets school pics, because she works at an elementary school! haha! :)

Santa even came the next morning, which was great!!! he even brought mom some Christmas socks, that matched with us girls!!! It was fun testing out Kevin's new beef jerky maker, sounds like it tasted good. It takes so long to do, but I had to leave cuz I had to work the next day.

We watched movies on Christmas day, and still kept eating. Very fun times!!!!!! I love my family!!! can't wait for next Christmas, I hate when its over, its just so sad! :(

Today was AMAZING!!!

It was so nice and relaxing to have a day off!!! so great! I slept in, watched some skating, starting reading a really good book (courtesy of my sister) who is a GREAT author!!! I did some cleaning, I was going to go shopping, but decided to just chill; and it was so wonderful and so needed, and I'm so sad that I have to go back to work, but now that we got a new employee I don't have to work as much, so that part is AWESOME!!!

Happy New Year everyone!!

I am SOOOOOOOOOO exhausted!!! work was so CRAZY busy with two doctors all week, aka insurance week. I am just glad its over.

Saturday was a great end to the work week, and then hanging out with Sara was so much fun! we always have a bunch of laughs, good times! we decided to celebrate Christmas in a couple weeks, which I love that we do after the new year!! nice to still have "christmas" coming up! in a way!

And then this afternoon was a lazy, skating afternoon. VERY VERY nice, and very needed!!

Still going to post Trip/Christmas stuff when I have time!! I feel like I've been crazy busy forever now! I need some me time!!!

It was nice to be back to my St. Cloud church too!!!
