Merry belated Christmas!!

our family Christmas was amazing as usual!! how was yours? im just so sad Christmas is over. :(

had fun pigging out on junk food, but back into my routine all ready and Florida was amazing!!!! details coming soon, when i catch up on sleep i suppose! LOL!!!!! have a safe and happy new year!!

its the most wonderful time of the year!

life has been so fun lately! i LOVE this time of the year!!! last weekend I went with Stephanie, Lori, and Darlene to do the Walk through Christmas that the Waters church in Sartell does, basically its walking through a Christmas story and this years theme was Scrooge, so that was great- and then we sang Christmas carols too! so fun!

then Mary, Lori, Stephanie and I had a Christmas party and it was so fun! we even played pool and it turns out I'm pretty good at it! LOL!!! who knew?! we even did a fun white elephant gift exchange! now i'm getting so excited for Disney! YAH! just gotta get through work tomorrow! so exciting! i just hope i can keep up with my old man!!! :)

i'm 30!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

i cannot believe it!!! its like CRAZINESS to think that I've been on this planet for 30 years! I had such a fun day though!

it started with church this morning with Lori and Stephanie-and I got to see Susan from the NW campus too, so that was great and then after church i went to hang out with the family! although kevy was sick, but it was fun to hang out with my crazy family. we didnt watch the Sound of music this year, because skating was on! LOL!!! so i wore a sound of music shirt that my mom got my sister when she went to austria and now it fits me! YAH!!

and then i proceeded to eat everything in sight at my party, so its time to get back on tomorrow!

after the party i met up with Sara for my free dinner at La Casita, which was so yummy and free food is always awesome!!

so its been a great day! thanks for all the birthday wishes, so far 30 is pretty awesome!!!

FANTASTIC day and I'm almost 30! wait, what?!??!

I feel like my fellow reception girls are gelling together and i LOVE it!! Its me, Karen, Kaitlyn, and Tara. its like the dream team at SCMG! so things are great there- and then i went to my awesome book study called "The best yes" by Lysa T! LOVE her and my J girls- Mary, Stephanie, and Lori-great group of women! so happy and I'm almost 30!!!! less than a week! which means I only have 5 days to find a guy, get married and get pregnant! wish me luck!!! LOL! :)

my dad got a clean bill of health!! HALLELUJAH!!!

YAH!!!! here i was thinking all the worst possible scenerios like surgery and no Disney, but he got a clean bill of health! so happy! I think it just freaks me out seeing people bringing in their aging parents to there appointments and even sadder yet when a facility brings in someone because they don't have any family- i had to help an older lady fill out paperwork because she had no one with her-although i think she answered no to everything i asked her, so im not sure how much that helped! LOL!!!

praise God for the good news! on to other updates- we got our first snow fall of the year and it was over a foot!!! WOOF-DAH! I usually love the first snow fall, but this one was EPIC-ALLY bad!!! boooo!! the first snow fall is supposed to be a small amount and beautiful, not huge and having to figure out how to get to work and home again, when i only live 5 minutes away. Although it was nice seeing all of us coworkers helping people get out of the parking lot-snow angels literally!!!!

other than that things have been good. working out like crazy (especially in preparation for December-yes I feel like December is going to be a bad eating month-ugh!) with potlucks at work, Disney trip and I plan to cheat Christmas Eve and day. oh boy. so working out and being good!!!

and right now it is snowing a small amount and i don't have to drive in it, which is PERFECT!!! now i can sing "it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas-everywhere you go!!!!!"    :)

wow-its been awhile huh?? (pretty predictable though!!) LOL!

i have a very serious prayer request. I need prayers for my dad. his doctor (who i work with-ironic huh?) discovered his cholestoral (i'll be amazed if i ever learn how to spell that medical term or diahrea correctly) was really, really high, so i am begging for prayers. I hate that this could be something we have to go through again. I know nothing, but we are waiting for lab results to give us some answers and of course this had to happen over the weekend. ugh. please be praying.

otherwise things are good-working (almost been at my job for a year-craziness!) and just laying low. nothing much else to report. Please pray! Thanks!

Camp Lebanon

was AMAZING!!! we had so much fun! and i ate SOOOO much, but it was SOOOO good! I gained 7 pounds! YIKES! i knew what was going to happen and it did-my cheating days lingered until Tuesday, so in 5 days i gained 7 pounds- i thought it was going to be A LOT more, and so far this week has been going well, so i am hoping that this shows up at weigh in next week. kinda nervous, but if i gain or maintain, then i still have until the beginning of November to lose and i am still in my weight range, so I'm actually not too worried about it and kinda feel like its okay to get off plan like this, as long as i get back.

it was so nice to go up north for the weekend and just get away from it all-the worship was great and so were the speakers. Stephanie and I had so much zip lining too (even though it was FREAKING outside!) and we even went on a boat ride-BRRRR!!! it was also fun to meet some westwood girls too!!

great weekend was had-how was yours?!?! let's kick this weeks hiney butt and make it awesome! GOOOOO team! :)

i lost 5 pounds this week!!! HOORAY! Happy October!!

so exciting!!! I feel like a huge weight has been lift, like 5 pounds! LOL! i think i am figuring out that i am much better when i have to lose weight then maintaining, so I was nervous about this coming weekend because I am going to Camp Lebanon and won't have control over my meal plans, but I think I am just going to wing it and then come back guns blazing and if I linger off plan for a couple days after I get home I think I'm okay with that. Last week I used up my 49 extra points (when normally I use like 10-20) and I ended up losing 5 pounds, so I think I need to give myself wiggle room. So I'm doing another experiment this week, I'll let you know how it goes!

BTW-how crazy was I to experiment with my 49 pts right before the beginning of the month and needing to be within my goal or I have to pay my fees-I KNOW RIGHT!!! i wasn't planning on it, but I just keep eating an eating, but at least I was tracking! so that's good!

Well let's finish off the rest of this week with a bang! Looking forward to a peaceful weekend up north with Stephanie-peaceful HA!! more like peaceful with a zip lining adventure (and Im still nervous, even though we did it last year!) LOL!! wish me luck!

yah! i had a great monday! WOOT WOOT!

its about time! no overeating-and I worked out. I went a bit crazy on my extra points this weekend, but I am thinking that I will still be within my parameters! Gosh i hope so, i am going to camp lebanon this weekend with Stephanie and just want to not have to worry about food, but to get back on track when i get home. please pray!

last weekend was so much fun! my aunt Jan from New York was in town, so it was WONDERFUL to see her and hang out with the family. my brother got my aunt Jan to hit some golf balls, which was so fun to watch. alot of golfers in my family, but not me!! LOL!

i slept over at my parents place on friday night, so my dad could take my car in and it got a clean bill of health! YAH!!! its always so great waking up in my old bed, in my old bedroom at my parents house.

then on sunday i helped out my co-worker Susan with her sunday morning serving in the kitchen, which was great and then sunday afternoon was spent working out, and i ended up working out while watching Moulin Rouge-nothing like a great musical to really up the ante on my elliptical! LOL!

well here's hoping the rest of the week goes smoothly! have a great one peeps!!!

another bad WW day, ugh

i ate my regular points and then my extra 49 points and then at whatever i could find-it was like i was the Tasmanian devil and had to eat everything in sight. i ate half a bag of doritos, four pop tarts, a whole box of WW treats and I think that about covers it. i have got to get back on track, this is freaking me out, especially with the end of the month coming up. i've gained 7.5 pounds in the last two weeks. its amazing to me how easy it is to gain the weight, but how hard it is to lose it. while no more, i am back on track.

today was harder, but knowing that there is incentive to stay on track and not have to pay the fees if i go over my weight is very motivating. and i worked out like crazy yesterday, so that's good. lately when i cheat i overeat so much that i get sick and am too sick to work out.

and tonight i wanted to cheat so badly, but I didn't. i think i have to figure out my WW friendly foods that won't kill my daily points and will make me full. i'm on a new mission.

rough times with my weight watchers plan

wow-the last couple of days have been SOOOO hard for me. I went off plan on Sunday (which was pre-planned) since I had a church luncheon and then my mom and sister and I went to Bonanza for supper, so i figured I would bounce back that day and get back in the grove-right? WRONG!! ugh it took me until Wednesday (three days later mind you) to get back on track. I think I need to stop having so many cheat days. they just make me realize how addicted to food I still am and probably will always be. and it also doesn't help that at work we know have pharmacy reps catering lunches every day, its just so frustrating to me how I have to be so meticulous about planning my meals or I just go right off the edge of the cliff. UGH! i am so annoyed. so usually i get home from my cheat day and work out, while I never felt completely full at Bonanaza, so that i think was the problem. so then im at home and all of the sudden i have a craving for Dairy Queen- and I haven't had DQ in FOREVER, so i take off for DQ which mind you is right across from Bonanza and I get a chocolate malt. SO YUMMY! then of course im still hungry and so i eat a bunch of cookies and finally get full.

so then yesterday i stayed on track with my lunch- I love when the reps bring food I don't like. I kept praying that it would be something I would like so I could have one more cheat day, but I really think this was God telling me that I needed to get back on track and did I listen "ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!"

so after work I eat all my pre planned meals and I am STARVING after that and I all of the sudden get a craving for PB M&M's and so I went to a store and got a big bag of them and a small bag of doritos- I guess to make myself feel better?!?!? and then i proceeded to eat both and felt so sick afterward, so now I'm thinking I'm going to give myself one more day, since its been so bad all day anyway, so I eat more odds and ends around my kitchen and it just felt so freeing.

and of course anytime I give myself a cheat day I feel as though I ignore God because I am so consumed with just eating that nothing else matters. It was like I was the tazmanian devil and everything in my pathway that was junk food was destroyed by me. I just need to remember how sick I felt after eating all that junk.

But wait, there's more!!!! so Tuesday i eat my normal salad at work and not the pizza that smelled UBER amazing that the reps bring, but I do sneak some doritos-ugh. so then right away I'm thinking "i'm cheating on day 3." so then after work i needed to go grocery shopping and so I bought a bag of sour cream and onion chips and then on the way home all I can think about is that darn bag of chips and so I get home and just tear open the bag and dive in-UGH!!! i cannot believe that I am doing this again. Then of course I get a craving for those frosted animal cracker cookies, so I decided that i might as well keep cheating and mind you my weekly weigh in is the next day. NOT GOOD.

so i went and got those cookies and practically killed the bag and got sick yet again. and of course I ignored God again because I was so consumed with getting my time with my junk food freedom to myself and not waste it on him-that makes me sick too.

so then this morning i woke up early and still felt sick from all of my overindulgence's from the past couple of days and not wanting to face the scale. I decided to weigh myself at home instead of at the store, because i am so embarrassed by how off the rails I got and i gained 5 pounds in three days. 5 POUNDS!!!! are you serious??? it took me so long to take this weight off, so then i get so annoyed at myself, but this time i am back to getting on track. I tracked all day today. HOORAY! and i even went to the meeting at the store this morning- i knew i needed too. but man does this going off the rails just drain me. I cannot believe that one of my nightmares came true and that i just went hog wild for three days, this is so unlike me, and makes me sick. I could definetly use some prayers, but so glad I got a major work out in today and am back on track.

losing weight and maintaining it is not easy at all. if it were easy everyone would be skinny. I hope this helps you know that you are not the only one who has weight loss problems, its everyone. Stay on plan though!!!!! and please pray for me. Thanks!

hello everyone- i am alive and kicking!!

sorry i've been MIA forever!!!! but I'm here and things are going good. Work is okay, loving my co-workers! my apartment is amazing-still unpacking (crazy right- I've been here 4 months and still organizing and unpacking, but i only have one box to unpack!) Hooray!!

and this weekend i got a lot done around the apartment and then this morning my friends and I went to our church and they had a festival after the services (sort of an amusement park type of thing!) which was so fun! and i ate SOOOO badly! oh well, i LOVE my cheat days!

after that i went home because sister was home and we went shopping with mom and then out to eat at Bonanza-let the cheat day continue! now i am feeling sick-ugh. i am so upset at myself, i either track really well or go so far of the deep end, it just stresses me out so i worked out a lot tonight and am reading what the bible says about gluttony. i just hate that you need food to live, it would be so helpful if you didn't. prayers needed that i get back on track tomorrow.

also DWTS starts tomorrow night! HOORAY! so excited for a new season!

lot's of fun things coming up this fall-going to Camp Lebanon with Stephanie and going to a Christian concert with Lisa, and just went to a concert put on by one of our worship leaders at church-love his voice- oh and next sunday im going to the twins game with Sara (although they are having a bad season, yet again, i still want to at least go to one game, so that will be fun! YAH!

FABULOUS weekend with the family!

it is so nice knowing that I have a place to go to, to get away from the madness. i just love that my parents still live in the same house and hanging out with them is so much fun-dad and i did a lot of disney planning-YAH! so excited, but so tired just thinking of how much we are trying to cram in!! LOL!!

its friday, its friday! work went great! and i even worked an extra shift so my next paycheck will rock! woot woot!!

after work mom and dad dropped by with goodies-i love when they come by and they always bring bananas! LOL!!!

after they left i headed home (funny right!?!) i just need a weekend at home to just relax by the pool and do nothing! imma so excited!!!! lazy weekend by the pool-YES please!!!!

FANTASTICALLY sunday!!

it started out super at church this morning worshiping God with great music and be surrounded by my girls-Lori, Darlene, and Stephanie. Then I saw Susan from work-but she works at the NW campus- and it was SOOOOOO great to see her and meet her hubby!!!!

after church i seriously worked out because this afternoon was our work picnic, and i knew i was going to be cheating, so i did that and then cheated- and it was so yummy, but now i feel so sick in my tummy. remind me to stop having cheat days as i always go way too far-ugh!!!! i wish i could tell when i am full instead i eat all my points and still feel hungry or eat way too much. ugh, ugh, ugh.

but anyway-the picnic was fun and we got double prizes because not a lot of people were there-YAH for us!!!

after the picnic i decided to pay a visit to my parents since the picnic was near Kimball and i got to pick from my mom's garden and my mom got me the cutest pair of brown trouser pants and a super cute and sophisticated brown hat-and i can pull of a cute hat! YAH!!!!

so fun to catch up with my fam-especially because baby brother is moving next week-i'm so going to miss him and not just because he's the tech savy one in the family-although he pretty much is! LOL!!!

and now i am laying on my couch trying to recover from today-no more cheat days for awhile! Let's have a great week everyone!!!!

i am so sorry its been way TOOOO long and i mean this for realz!!

life has been CRAZY busy but CRAZY good!!! things have gotten a lot better since i over indulged that one day-boy was it rough to come back, but i am back on track! YAH! my pity party of one is OVER!!!

work has been good-although tomorrow I am picking up an extra shift-it could potentially be a 14 hour day! YIKES STRIPES! prayers and well wishes would be appreciated! its nice to know that I am figuring things out, i've been there 8 months know, that is just CRAZY!!!!

things are great at my apartment, i just cleaned yesterday-boy do I have to clean a lot and its just me!!! but i just love my new place, still decorating, but hope to have a house warming party soon!

also excited because i have lot's of stuff planned this fall! Stephanie and I are planning on going to Camp Lebanon in October and we are going out to Sioux Falls, SD to see our friend Brenda! YAH! so much fun! we might even take a train, which ive never been on before!!!

and i've been getting tan (ish!) which is just crazy to me, because most of you know i either burn or am pasty white! LOL!

my addiction to food

man its been a tough week. i could really use some prayers and encouragement. I made puppy chow with some friends and then next thing i know i am eating the whole bowl and i even got sick from it. ugh. and then of course weigh in was bad, which was too be expected, but its just so hard to bounce back. i thought i had my demons under control, but apparently not. this weekend has been so hard, all i want to do is eat and i am annoyed that others don't have to watch what they eat. i could just really use some prayers. its been pretty rough. :(

its been awhile- i know, i know- excuses, excuses!!

but life has been CRAZY busy!!! oye vay!

its been good though! so far i am surviving my 10 hour shifts! barely though! and i picked up an extra shift, i think i am certifiable now!!!

things are going well! i feel like i am finally settled into my apartment-HOORAY! only a couple more boxes to go! i think it helps that my friend Lori is having a garage sale and she said I could contribute to it! YAH!

speaking of Lori, I've had so much fun learning how to cook from her and Stephanie lately. I really value them helping me figure out menu items to make that are healthy. I learned how to make french toast which is so YUMMY! and scrambled eggs! i should make a "adults who have the palates of kids and don't have a natural cooking ability" cookbook!!! easy peasy stuff! i think imma on to something!

other stuff that has been going on is getting settled in my new home FP 1 @ the south campus! i love my coworkers so much! The Karen's and Tara! I love Karen W especially, we get a long so well and we both started around the same time-speaking of that- i hit my 6 month mark yesterday! they say it takes a good 6 months to figure out the position-while i hope they are right! but its been so fun learning together with Karen W and Tara-Karen J is so awesome because she knows everything!!!

what else has been going on? on Monday night another coworker Tarina (who goes to Westwood-alot of my coworkers go to westwood-which I love!) invited me to a worship thing at Lake George. so great to worship God after a long day at work!

i just feel so happy with life-even though work can be stressful-i just take it day by day! its a good feeling to just leave work problems at work.

and its really nice to have wednesdays off in the middle of the week-it felt like monday today-but now its almost Friday aka bride day! Yippee skippee! well how are you guys?

This long weekend has been FANTASTIC and so needed!!!!

On Friday i basically was a couch potato, its so nice to have a big screen tv that i can hear and watch Say yes to the dress! I love that Friday night is bridal night! LOL!!

then saturday it was a get up early and work out day, there are just not enough hours in the day! After i finish working out, then its like the day is over. ugh. oh well.

but then yesterday i got up and went to the early service at church, i figure its a good idea to get up early and stay on my normal early morning schedule. church was great and my girls Stephanie and Lori got to finally meet Susan my awesome trainer/coworker, which was great!

then we went to Lori's for brunch and i learned how to make breakfast food! YUMMY! im especially excited about a weight watchers egg product that I usually ignored because im not an egg person, but i used it to make french toast, and its really fun to cook and figure out how to make recipes healthier! wow, i cannot believe i just said that! LOL!

then after catching up with my Jesus girls, Stephanie and I attempted to go garage saleing, but of course we only found one! ARGH and it was a dud! so we decided to hit some thrift stores! fun times!

then today i got up early again! crazy i know! and i watched the twins lose, while cleaning! i almost have my boxes unpacked! HOORAY! and my misc box (why on earth did i do this?) is almost eliminated! yah!!!

and then this afternoon i spent cleaning (crazy i know!) i actually feel like an adult! so this weekend was FAN-freakin-TASTIC!!!!

Let's have a great week! I could use prayers for transitioning into my early shift, it helps that I've done it before, but its still something new! but it will be so nice to have a day off in the middle of the week! i just gotta keep thinking that!!! prayers are always appreciated! have a wonderful week!

FANTASTIC weekend!

yesterday i went to EP with Susan and Karen from work, which was so much fun!!!! HOORAY!!

and then we went to Karen's place, since she lives down the road and ate there, and her granddaughter came by and she is SOOOOO cute!

then susan and i went to look at her friends furniture that she is selling and its so cute! and comfy too! not sure yet what I am going to do!

Then i went home and worked out while I watched the twins win! WOOT WOOT! and then today was my "relaxing" day aka working out! i woke up with such a headache though and had to cancel plan I made with Stephanie, but we rescheduled for next sunday. and then stephanie and i did meet up at church tonight! i love going to night church! you know how much i love to sleep in, although i gotta get used to this whole getting up and being to work by 6:30! yikes stripes! alrighty guys, it worked last week, so imma gonna do it again!

LET'S HAVE A KICK BUTT WEEK Y'ALL!!! (insert southern drawl-im not sure why!?!?) LOL!!!! and next week is a short week! although i will start my long days! eekk! excited to have a desk!

HOORAY! its been so awesome! I am just kinda sad though because I am going to miss my NW girls a lot, but the great part is that Susan, Karen and I are going to EP tomorrow!! YAH!!! so I just have to remain in contact with my NW girls, which everyone knows I am HORRIBLE at!!!

the even better news I got to take my early day on a Friday and start my weekend out early, instead of so late like last weekend! LOL! no more saturday shifts though! woot woot! :)

and instead of unpacking my boxes in my apartment what did I do today? I watched the MN twins win and worked out like crazy! i swear I am going to unpack eventually!!

and the apartment is going so well! i LOVE it! YAH! you just never know going into something like this if you are going to like or not, well guess what? I LOVE my apartment, and Im UBER excited about getting a permanent spot, even though Imma gonna miss my girlies at NW, i love my girls at South too!!!

well im going to sleep in tomorrow (because i kinda feel like its the last time I can!) since I start my 6:30 shift in two weeks, but it will be so nice to have a day off in the middle of the week! that is going to ROCK!!!!

but im so excited to be working with my girls Karen J, Karen W, and Tara! YAH for awesome coworkers!!!

and today Susan and I had lunch together, which was so much fun!

What a great day!!! hanging out with my family is AMAZING!!!

it started out uber boring with kev's graduation ceremony, but almost to the end, him and his friends decided to ditch it! YAH!!!

and we were off to Bonanza! I was so looking forward to my cheat day!! and Bonanza is SOOOOOO yummy! plus our family friends Mark and Deb Magnuson met up with us, plus kevin's friend that is a girl (not girlfriend!) Jaydee met up with us, and we really like her!! :)

after the gorging, we went to my place to show it off to Jackie! i love showing off my new digs!!!

then after everyone left I worked out (gotta get back to it-even with a full stomach!) and then went to sunday night church at westwood, i really love westwood and the worship was so great!!

I had to work saturday, so i felt like I had no "me time" so this coming weekend is going to be all about me, i need to get stuff unpacked and really get settled in, but it work out crazy amounts of time, and feel like I never have any time to get things done. CRAZINESS that this is me!! LOL!

ive been in my apartment for a week!!

and I still LOVE it!! its just so cute!!!! so excited about my bachelerette pad!!! LOL!

still unpacking, but Im thinking I won't get a lot done this weekend because i have to work my last saturday (YAH-no more weekends!) not that i worked a lot of them (every 6-7 weeks) but because working weekends is just such a sad thing! LOL!

and then on Sunday baby brother graduates from college (excting!) and its mom's day so we are all getting together and going to Bonanza afterward and I am giving myself a cheat day! im not going to go too crazy, but I am not going to worry about the points that day!! but then back to it on monday!!!

but hopefully the following weekend I will get things unpacked and I really want to organize my stuff especially because I have so much storage! love it!

and I got my cable and internet installed last week, soooooo HOORAY for that!!! Its been a great first week on my own and then today Sara and I went to EP, even though its not friday, it was so good to catch up!

Well its almost the weekend-for most of you! yippee!!!! cannot wait for saturday afternoon and to hang out with my family is ALWAYS fun! :)

moving CRAZINESS!!!

Im so excited, I love my new place, it is so darn cute!!!! I'm all moved it and its been kind of stressful and crazy, but I am so very grateful for my family helping (even though the boys in my family are CRAZY and annoying when moving-but what else is new?!) LOL!!!!

we got everything moved in Thursday night, which was AMAZING!!! I bet I got crazy amounts of activity points going up and down stairs! But my pedometer reset on me, GRRRR!!!!!

my first night was amazing, it was so quiet and peaceful! although I had to work the next morning, it took me literally 5 minutes to get to work! and then after work i went back home and attempted to unpack.

then my amazing parents called and said they were going to pick me up saturday morning to take me on a housewarming shopping spree, which was SOOOOOOOO incredibly generous of them- i got a BIG SCREEN TV-YAH!!!!! They got me so much and they are such a blessing in my life! as if the shopping wasn't enough then they took me grocery shopping (just to get me started!) they are so uber generous!!!

then on Sunday my mom came over and helped me so much by organizing my boxes, helping me unpack, giving me a cooking lesson-she taught me how to make taco meat! (i know kinda pathetic right?) and taught me how to use my laundry too!!! then we went thrift shopping and got some more ideas to set up my living room!

the bathroom and kitchen are pretty much done-I'm working on my bedroom right now and then we are trying to figure out how to do up the living room. right now I temporarily having my parents loveseat and my coffee table until we figure out the color scheme!!! its just so much fun!

after my mom left, I got together to go for a walk with Stephanie and show off my place and then we went to church that night and today (being Monday!) i got to sleep in because I got the day off because I work my last saturday this saturday (try explaining this to my dad-he's not comprehending it!) LOL!!!

and today Ive been unpacking and more organizing, I have a patio with a storage unit and my mom got a bunch of totes from my home church so I am really getting everything organized and put away!!!

man its been a great weekend, sad that its almost over. but excited for next weekend as my brother is graduating from college and its mother's day (she defintely deserves it-she always has!) so I get to hang out with my family!! YAHOO!!!!

hope everyone had a great day!!!! Can't wait to have a housewarming party to show off my new digs, maybe I should get back to the organizing right? LOL!!

PS on a sad note I did end up missing Stars on Ice for the first time since 1998, it was just really bad timing and now with having to pay a bigger amount of rent. I'm so sad to have missed it, but hoping next year we get some of my favorites back and it works with my schedule. :(

another great day, this time in my upcoming home @ SCMG!

i'm so excited! it was a great day! so nice to feel like I am figuring things out!! also my boss sat with me for a bit this morning and went over stuff and basically told me I'm doing great, which is really good to hear! YAH!

and i just really like the ladies I am going to be working with, I can't wait to get to know them better! and the nurses and doctors too!! but i am going to miss my girls over at NW. :(

on the moving out front, i've got more stuff packed and feel like I am ready! which is a great feeling! i've never been so organized in my life, and i was even able to find my winter jacket (ugh, i know; i had to get it out because of this brutal winter we've had and yes its almost may!) because of my great labeling system!! getting excited! i would really love your prayers though for a smooth transition, its kinda scary!!

Today was great. I was reunited with my FPN girls at NW and it was so great to be back there, i really love the atmosphere with all the nurses and doctors, its so positive!!

it was fun to catch up with my fellow receptionists, as you guys know I have a lot of news! LOL!

Also my friend dropped by, so it was so great to see her!

and the day kinda went fast!! HOORAY for fast mondays! then I did another drop off for donations (I think this is my second load!) and probably two more to go, its so nice to get rid of big clothing and stuff I never wear! YAH!

and then it was time to go home and watch DWTS!!! (insert theme music!) love the cast this season! my money is on Meryl and Maks! and the person i wanted to get voted out did, which was Nene! yah! love when america votes my way! and Ricky Martin was a guest judge! total blast from my teenage past in the 90's!

after DWTS i did more packing, i am so close to being done! I have NEVER been this organized in all my life!! i hope my labeling is very helpful for me! i'm getting so excited!!!

and then slept in Saturday, which was FABULOUS! and got so much done packing-wise and then went to mom and dad's for the night and went to church this morning in Kimball. It was so great to be in my old stomping grounds! i love the old hymns and my old pastor who I grew up with, was filling in and he was so great! brought back great memories!

then mom and I went to a girl from church's dad's house as he is moving and getting rid of furniture for FREE!! and we found some stuff! YAH!! love free stuff!!! :)

after that I went home and have been packing more stuff (can't wait to move!) and working out! so the usual! I am just so excited! I hope this works out, please be praying that it goes well!!! so nervous, but excited! hey i'm NERVCITED!!! LOL! my word, remember?

Lent (or is it lint?) i always get that word mixed up, is over, so Sara can now have meat on Friday and it is such a great thing because there is nothing better than EP on Friday!!! okay not exactly true, but pretty close!!!

i cannot believe I am moving in 6 days! EEEKKK!!! i had thought I wasn't ready, but my mom said that I am, as she came to help pack me up and I'm pretty much done. I think the hard part is figuring out what I need now and what can wait until after i move! I'm so nervous, its such a huge step! please be praying!

i hit my 100 pound goal! i can't believe I didn't update you guys!!!

Sooooooo exciting! I never EVER thought in a million years that I would do this, but so excited and ready to maintain. Although its scary being a lifetime member because I have to pay if i am 2 or more pounds over my goal weight! EEKKK! so i have my first weigh-in on the 1st which i when i get the keys to my apartment! AHH!! so many changes! and then i start my new permanent position at south campus the last week in May, so at least all these changes aren't coming at me all at once and the permanent position is 4 ten hour days a week, which is going to take some getting used to, but it will be nice just working down the road, my apartment is closer than where i live now! sooooooo excited! EEKK!!

and tomorrow is EP Friday! oh my gosh, its been forever since Sara and I've gone to EP! cannot wait!!! YAH for lent being over! Ps i always thought it was called lint. LOL!! okay going to bed, night!

SCMG job update!!

Guess what? I got a permanent receptionist job at the South Campus! YAH! so excited!!! it will be so nice to have my own desk! EEKK!! and not be a float! WAHOO!!! im pretty excited, and I love the girls there! Karen J, Karen W (we started together and have become really good friends!) and Tara. I'm pretty pumped!

i move in a week! ONE WEEK!! AHHH!!! i am so freaking excited, but kinda scared too, its time to hike up my big girl pants and do this!!!!

I had a great Easter at Westwood this morning worshiping my ressurected Lord along with my good friend Stephanie and then because it was so nice out we actually went for a walk!! I couldn't believe how nice out it was!! HOORAY!!!!

and the rest of the day was spent working out (im crazy I know!), cleaning and getting rid of more clothes. Soon i am going to have nothing to wear, which is a super AWESOME problem to have! yah for getting rid of the old, which is always nice to do when i move!!!

Happy Easter!

So excited that tomorrow is easter! YAH!!! Ressurection sunday is such a wonderful day, its the day my Lord came out of his grave!!!

I just hate Good Friday so much, just knowing how much Jesus had to suffer on my behalf is so sad and painful and I feel badly that he is always there for me to wipe away my sins and i am a HUGE sinner who makes the same mistakes all the time (and new ones too!!) LOL!!!

But Good Friday services at Westwood were so great; kinda. I walked in and there were Kleenex on the ends of the aisles (not a good sign) and then they showed clips of The passion of the Christ, which I cannot watch, it is so hard to watch! but it was a good service, but I'm so looking forward to resurrection sunday! YAH!

So the Sommers family celebrated Easter today! I love my family and am so blessed! We had lunch and then the Easter bunny visited us with chocolate and money (i'm surprised said bunny got the memo that we celebrated a day early!) but i do love that Santa and the easter bunny still come to our house! and the youngest is 26!!! CRAZINESS!!

after that we played some card games, and proceeded to try to tell stories. I remember one story my sister was trying to tell and she could not finish it because she kept getting interrupted! Soooo fun!!!

Jackie also took us for a ride in her new car Stavros (yes from Full House) and Stavros is quite sexy, i must say!!!

It was such a fun day with the family! I love going to Kimball and knowing that we are all saved is such a wonderful feeling for me! Thank you Jesus!! I just wish we remembered to watch the Promise or the ending, which is a Sommers family favorite! i know I attempted to, but I am sure I got interrupted and we never got back to it. Oh well, we don't just have to watch it over Easter, its a great passion play that we went to in Branson eons ago! i mean EON eons ago!!! Long time! I didn't get the apartment I loved, but I found a different one, and I'm just waiting for my application to go through!! EEEKKK!!! so nervicted!!!

its so big, plenty of storage, it even has a patio and a pool and a walk in closet, and laundry!!! the kitchen is kinda small, but im just so freakin excited!!! EEKKKK!!!!!

so I might've found an apartment that I really, REALLY like!! EEEKKK! the only problem is that someone viewed it before me and she is going to let the landlord know if she wants it or not. AHHH!! please be praying that I get it (that's not selfish, is it?)

I just want to move out SOOOOO badly and this place is perfect and literally 5 minutes from the sartell campus at work! and its SOOOOO cute! sigh.

other than that, things have been going well!! work is going okay, still wish I wasn't so new, i can't wait until I get things figured out!!

and just trying not to get too excited about this place, but I think I already am, and will be crushed if this doesn't work out! AHHHH!! and i found a cute bed spread (brown and pink of course!) and i can picture my stuff there. oh man, this is not good!

please be praying that I am okay with whatever happens. Maybe the company that owns the property are jerks and I won't have a good experience there and won't get the place because God doesn't want me to have to endure another crappy place! keeping fingers crossed that this is an awesome place! ahh!! just pray!

Dear Diary March Edition (name stolen from an up and coming author Jackie Lea Sommers-AKA my sister!)

Wow, sorry about the lack of updates! my life has been pretty crazy lately, but in a GREAT way! i feel like things are getting better at my "newish" job! i LOVE my coworkers and feel like i am catching on! sure i am still floating around, but i like to use it as an opportunity to check out which areas I really like!!!

I am so close to hitting my weight watchers goal, i am not even sure what my goal is, but I'm pretty close to losing 100 pounds, which is just CRAZY to me!! I'm so excited! i really wanna do a biggest loser type makeover day and go shopping and get my haircut and a makeover! YAH!! i gotta figure out ways to treat myself, besides with food!!!

I'm even looking forward to doing some 5K's this summer, I know right! Especially the one that the MN twins do!!! Love anything MN twins! and speaking of the twins, the new season is coming up! YAH!!!!!!

Other than that, things are going pretty well! I'm very hopped up on life!

What a fantastic Valentines weekend!!!!

It started out with getting a cooking lesson with Lori on Friday and we made spaghetti and it was so good! i'm so excited to start cooking more! i even thought that I should make my pita that I eat at EP and see how low in points I can get it to be!!! and we are going to do another lesson in a couple weeks!!!

You know the saying that the only way to a guy is through his stomach? While hopefully next year I will know how to cook enough to make that happen, no more singleness (if that's a word?) on valentines day for this girl!

Then on Friday night I went to my parents house since they are in Florida so I had a weekend retreat there! it was so nice and relaxing!!!

My parents bed has an electric blanket on it, I should invest in one of those!!! and i slept in (ha, yeah right!) and then worked out like CRAZY!!! seriously I worked out for 2 hours yesterday alone!!! but that is my new relaxing, which is just weird!!!

Then this morning I went to check out Westwood again with my girlfriends, which I LOVE, and am so excited about! its so nice to just worship the Lord and there was a new song they played that I didn't know, but totally loved. I wish i remembered the name of it, they even put the name of the song up on the screen before we sing, which i love!!! after church it was time to head home and watch olympic coverage and work out some more! I am so POOPED!!!!

such a great "me weekend" though! I don't know how parents do it!!!

life has been CRAZY busy, but CRAZY exciting!!!

This week alone has had so much going on!!!

On Sunday we celebrated Jackie's birthday! better late than never, right? Which was so fun! Its always interesting trying to get a word in with my family! so fun!

Then on Tuesday night Jackie was reading some excerpts from her book that is soon to be published, look for it in 2015 or 2016 and we went to surprise her, but dad kinda gave it away at her birthday party. Darn it daddy!!!!

it was such a proud moment to see my sister in her element, on stage and reading and then she even did a Q an A! Yes people, she is that important and awesome! i was beaming the whole time!!!! i so wish I had her stage presence and she said she gets nervous too! which I so do not believe!!!

then on Wednesday Sara and I went to EP, which was so fun because we haven't seen each other in awhile and EP is just so darn good! one of my coworkers thought that I was going to Eden Praire!! LOL! i love my coworkers so much!!! (so yes things are going pretty well, just trying to figure it all out, and then on top of that I'm going to the South campus next week to train over there!!!) OYE VAY! i'm exhausted as I write this!!

Then tonight mom, dad, and I went to see an apartment complex in St. Joe, its super nice, but pretty expensive, so I'm just not sure. HMMMMM........... gotta love being an adult, right? we shall see what happens though!

Wow, where do I even start? My sister Jackie Lea is 32 today! YIKES STRIPES!!!! That means we are OLD!

I love you so much deetie Lea! I don’t even know where to begin! How about “Let’s start at the very beginning, a very good place to start!” haha! Bonus points to whoever knows what movie that song is from! It’s a Sommers favorite!

I’ve known you from the moment I was born! I know I was a pest to you from the very beginning! I just loved doing everything my big sister did! She was the chatterbox in our family (and Kevin would be when he was born!) which I’ve always been envious of them both for this trait! She’s been such a rock for me in my life; sure we pretty much annoyed each other growing up (we all do!) but I just love all of our special memories! I always know I can go to her for ANYTHING! And she will make fun of me for whatever problem I am having, but she will always be there to help!

I just smile anytime I think of all the crazy pranks she pulled on me as a kid (I am sure most of you know about the big ones from FB!) mom’s twin sister Rose right any bells, plays (on roller skates no less!), book clubs (we still have our headquarters in one of our sheds at mom and dad’s) and our love for Hanson! We even realized a dream last summer by seeing them in concert at the MN State Fair, which was so much fun!

I can’t even begin to write down any more memories, there are too many to list! But most of all I am proud of my sister as she just got a publishing contract, she is an amazing author! Check out her blog for proof! Lightsallaround.com, let her know I sent you there! LOL! I am so excited for this book to be released, I cannot believe I have to wait until 2015 or ’16!!! UGH!!! I’ve even tried to get her to hire me as her agent, so I can schedule book tours, but she just hasn’t budged! I wonder why? Come on, who is going to look out for you more than your own flesh and blood!!!

But all joking aside I am so proud of this sister of mine for her love of Jesus and for helping me grow in my relationship with him as well!!! I love you deetie!!!

work update

I think things are going well! of course I want to know everything right away and stop being a pesty newbie, but I think for the most part things are going well! and most of all I am really happy at SCMG (St. Cloud Medical Group!) it just seems like a really great enviorment and everyone is super nice and very helpful! and keeps telling me I am not a pest! HOORAY! I'm just really excited! I've been in all three family practice areas as a float, which was hard at first, but I like getting to know each area! its defintely really interesting! We even had a group reception meeting last night after work, and it was good to get to know others from the other clinics (we have 4 total!) i haven't been to the South one much, so that was nice! i feel like I'm getting to know others better! YAH!

Things are good though! Still have my Christmas stuff up, are you surprised? its just so hard to take down! I hit my one year mark of being on weight watchers! I'm at almost 85 pounds lost which is SUPER surprising, when I look in the mirror I sometimes forget!! Funny story, whenever Sara wanted to take pictures of us while I was overweight, i would hike up my shirt to help cover up my double chin, and I attempted to do that when we just took a picture and she gave me her "annoyed" look, as she always did and I was like "oh whoops, I forgot!" and proceeded to smile and still take a bad picture! (some things never change!) haha! so it just took me back!

So things are good! hung out with the family last weekend, which is always nice to do! My mom is so good at talking me down when I get overwhelmed with life and finances and being a grown up (doesn't it stink most of the time!) haha! yes my mom was right about something, when i was a kid I forever wished to grow up because adults had so much power and got paid to work, instead of not getting paid to go to school! man I would go back to school in a heartbeat. oh wait, on second thought? maybe not! haha!!!

what else? The olympics are coming up, twinsfest is coming up with Sara, so that's exciting, although sad since Justin Morneau is no longer with the twins! darn it! I even told me him last year at twinsfest he better stay and he said he wanted to! what the heck happened Morneau? HUH?

so yeah, that's about it? getting uber jealous because mom and dad are going to Florida in feb for two weeks! This winter has been down right BRUTAL! and now without so much weight on me, it is so darn cold out there!!!! This is shocking, but I cannot wait for swim suit season which is something I have never said before in my adult life! oh that's it for real!!!! Its almost FRIDAY! WOOT WOOT! maybe that is why Im in such a good mood!!!

FABULOUS weekend!

The weekend started out fabulously and has ended fabulously!! It started out with going to Sara's to celebrate Christmas (its my last one, which is just so sad!) we watched our Christmas movies; she loves Elf and I love Rudolph! and we even had an Elf Quote off on facebook, which was so fun!! 

After the movies, we opened presents!!! We got each other EP gift cards, which was preplanned, but I am Soooo excited because my current EP giftcard from my parents is almost out, sadness!

On Saturday morning we played Friends trivia which was so fun; we used to be so competitive with games, but now its more for fun; plus we both haven't watched Friends in so long, so we both stunk! haha!

Then I went home and have bunkered in basically since Saturday morning! which was so nice! I worked out, cleaned out my closet and cleaned up (still waiting to take down Christmas decorations though!) and discovered that I should have a garage sale so I can sell all of my "fat clothes!" and then by this summer hopefully I hit my weight loss goal and can go on an ultimate shopping trip to the Mall of America! so excited!!!!!

 this MN winter has been SOOOOO brutal, but mainly because of the cold! its going to get as low as -50 with wind chill, if it hasn't already! The MN Governor called off all public schools for tomorrow and this was announced on Friday, YIKES! i wish they did that for work! and my dad called me saturday night and told me to bunker in today and that the Kimball church called off church for this morning which is just crazy! 

so its been a great weekend! now time for my first full week at work, ive been there a month and now I am just working a full week! so crazy, but I feel ready! i feel like things are really good at SCMG, and Im really excited that Ive found a place I like!!! YAH! I just hope my car cooperates tomorrow, i started it earlier today just to get it running, so hopefully it doesnt let me down!

Its 2014, that is just CRAZY!!!!! Had so much fun this new years eve with Ms. Sara Ann Segler, yet again!!! So much fun!

It started out with getting EP! YUMMY! Then we did some shopping and then for the second year in a row we went to the clearwater lights, just because my family looks for like two seconds, so its nice to sit and watch it for awhile!

After that we bunkered into her house and had so much fun! We watched Despicable Me 2, which is SOOOOO good!!! I think its better than the first one, which almost never happens! Except with Toy Story 2, which i loved so much better than the first!

after that we cheersed to the new year with Diet Mt Dew (for me!) and orange juice for Sara!! Wow we are so WILD!!!

So that was it for our celebrating 2014!! What a fun sleepover, and excited for the next one to celebrate our Christmas (on Friday!!!) 2 days away!! YAH!!!!!
