CHRISTMAS was fantastic!!!!

Another exciting Christmas with the Sommers family! so many fun memories, but I am exhausted, so I am cutting this short, but I will post more details later!

Pizza, caroling, light looking, and opening the presents! got lots of great stuff, including a pink/brown bible from brudder, and a Sound of Music scrapbook by the "von trapp kids" and lots of giftcards! so thankful!

Christmas eve services were so much fun! so great to see the Magnuson's. great times, i will post more details after i get some sleep!!!

Fabulous weekend!!!

So amazing! it actually started on Thursday night with Kevy coming over and spending the night because of his CRU going late and having class early on Friday! So much fun to hang out with him, LOVE IT! we watched the office together, and stayed up too late, but it was still great! Work went good Friday!
and then Friday night i relaxed, and then Saturday I met up with Lisa at Famous Daves for our Christmas party! so much fun, and I even ran into Corey (who I used to work with at PCI!) which was so much great seeing that big ole' teddy bear!

then i survived shopping Saturday afternoon and just relaxed today! WHICH WAS SO NEEDED! and then i watched Toy Story 2 and 3! I always cry at #3, ugh! but so good!
Well the weekends defintely go too fast, but soon it will be CHRISTMAS!!! yah!!!!! so let's have a great week! 5 more days and then we get a 4 day weekend! WOOT WOOT!!

I got hired on!!! WOOT WOOT!!! yah! so glad! i even negotiated a bit too!!! awesome!!! i'm so not a negotiator, so that was AWESOME!!!

and after work I met up with Sara for some good ole fashioned "hint hint" shopping, so much fun! and then later Kev is coming over after CRU and then spending the night and going to class in the morning!!! so fun! I love that we are getting closer and closer!!! i thought when we were growing up that it wouldn't go this well when we were older!!! I was so wrong, and so glad!

and tomorrow is the WEEKEND, WEEKEND; hooray for the weekend!!!!! EEEEEKKKK!!!! :)

FABULOUS weekend; Sommers Family White elephant, and Snowmageden 2012

Such a great weekend! Friday was low key! then I headed to mom and dad's for our annual Sommers Family white elephant, which was so much fun! I actually got a good number too!!! but it was so much fun! Love my crazy and loud family!

Jackie brought my birthday present, which was Waiting for Guffman, and if you've never seen it, you need to, it is HILARIOUS!!!

then i went to church, and then a friend of mine from church and i went out for supper which was fabulous! and then i did some Christmas shopping and got a lot done, and then today was the first big snow fall!!! i am guessing we got a foot of snow, it was INSANE!! i would guess there is a foot out there, but I didn't set foot out there. i stayed home in my pajamas, and read and watched movies! such a relaxing day, kinda sad that its time for the work week again! ugh! but excited since tomorrow is my three month anniversary! I've survived 3 months! HOORAY! and its almost Christmas!!! Let's have a great week, shall we?!?!?!

crazy day! fun times with brother!

so work went good, and then I watched Christmas Vacation, which I LOVE!!! i love the end when the aunt sings the star spangled banner! and then kevy walked to my house because his car got towed! OUCH!

but it was fun! so first we went to walmart because you need to pay cash, and we both didn't have enough, and then he realized he didn't have his ATM card, so then we went to the place and kev tried to charm them into paying something besides cash, and that didn't work! so then he had to resort to calling dad and having him bail him out, which he hates getting dads help, but I think its so funny!!!! good times!

I thought he was going to sleep on my couch!!!! Note to everybody do not park in a towed lot, plus they charge you double if you don't pick up your car within a day! CRAZINESS, and then name of the place was All Care Towing, PALEEZE!!! but very funny and entertaining night! kinda glad since DWTS ended last week! haha!

Fabulous weekend with my church girls!!

So much fun! I went to a play at my church on friday night, which was AHMAZING! And then slept in yesterday, and went to church saturday night, and sat by a bunch of my friends. Its so fun to have so many people to sit by!! and then today Mary and I met up at Whitney to go walking, and we walked three miles, which was so great! YAH!

and then afterward I went to mom and dad's, since I haven't seen them in forever, and that was so fun! dad and i watched a bunch of disney youtube videos. It is getting kinda foggy out, so that means my dad worries, which is so cute! he was like "Be careful!" he gets so worried in the fog. In fact when my sister first got her license, she took me, Kevin and Jackie Miller to a movie and mom told me years later how nervous dad was about us coming home, and how he was worried that he was going to lose his whole family in one night! its so nice to have someone worrying about me!!!

now its time for the week to start. Lets think positively and have a great week!!!!

Holidazzle parade was AMAZING!!!

So much fun!!! I went with Lisa, her sister Tina, and her mom. It was awesome!!! we met up for lunch in Clearwater, which was the pick up point, and then we took the spirit 92.9 bus to downtown where the Macy's Christmas display is set up, which was AMAZING! and then we had some hot cocoa at Barnes and Noble and waited for the parade to start. It was so much fun! It reminded me of a Disney parade, but just a lot COLDER! haha!

They even have a joe mauer snowman float, which was my favorite!!! good times!!! and then today was just a chill day, watched some skating, and then went over to Sara's and helped her deck her halls for Christmas! what a fabulous weekend, sad to see it end! :(

its my birfday!!!!

What a fun day!!! I got to "sleep in" and then went into work, and worked for awhile, which was so nice. No distractions and I got a lot of stuff done!!!!

and then Sara and I met up and went to see Breaking Dawn part 2, which was so good, but there is such a shocking surprise in there!! HOLY CANOLY!!!!!

and then after that we went and decked my halls, and since Christmas music started today, it was AHMAZING!!!! so much fun!!

I cannot believe I'm 28! imma feelin kinda old! but the fun weekend continues, I am going to the Holidazzle parade with Lisa tomorrow night!! yah!! I just love this time of year!!! I wish it was Christmas everyday!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Such a FABULOUS day! so much fun with my siblings for Thanksgiving, since my parents went to my grandmas in Missouri. We had pizza, snicker salad, and Kevin even made banana cream pie! so yummy!!!!

just very relaxing, I slept in and watched the end of the Macy's parade, I would love to make it out there sometime!!

just a great time!! and then it started to snow! HOORAY! so excited! i really wanna do outdoor winter activities this winter, and since it snowed that means I need to dig out my winter coat! UGH! but i do love the first snow! i just hope i can find my matching gloves, that would be nice!

and yesterday was such a great day! I worked for 11 hours and got so much done, which was nice to feel like I am catching up on work and figuring things out, which is good, because it can get so busy that i feel like i fall behind, ugh! but i am going to work tomorrow, which will be so great because we are closed! YAH!!

and Imma gonna be 28 tomorrow! YIKES! imma feellin kinda old!! oh well! Hope you all had a fabulous thanksgiving with your loved ones! :)

Another fabulous weekend was had! had fun just relaxing, and did alot of cleaning so I will be ready to deck my halls with Christmas decorations! YAH!

church was fabulous on saturday night, its so awesome that I have a group of friends that I see there! So nice to feel like i belong, and sit with others!

and today was a skating day! YAH! love skating! so awesome weekend, and next week is Thanksgiving, excited to spend it with my siblings and then my 28th birthday is on Black Friday, and even though I have to work for a bit, which isn't bad since we are closed, so it will give me time to catch up on everything, and then i will celebrate it with Sara by seeing Breaking Dawn part 2, im just sad that this is the last one!

and then going to holidazzle parade with Lisa on Saturday!!! geez louise, busy, busy, busy weekend!!! EEEKKK!!!!

WOW!!!! i had a great day at work!!!!

So exciting!!!!!! and so happy!! i felt like i was getting work done, it just sure feels like all you do is get phone calls and people coming in and then you never get anything done! UGH!! but today was GREAT! YAH!

and then i got pulled over for going through a yellow light, and didn't get a ticket!! WOOT WOOT! i thought my luck was going to wear out, since i had such a great day!!!

YAH! and its almost the weekend! and i am going to decorate for Christmas this weekend, and its almost my birthday! i can't believe i'm going to be 28!!!! HOLY CANOLY!!!! :)

I LOVE my made to crave ladies. its so nice to know that there are others out there struggling with their weight, and that I'm not the only one!!

we met last monday just to catch up, which was so much fun! we attempted to make a healthy pumpkin desert, but the pumpkins were frozen so Mary thought we could smash them outside, and when she opened them she screamed and I was so scared to see what was inside. turns out there was nothing inside! haha! so fun!! love the group and we are going to be meeting more often, which is so needed!

one of the girls is in a weight loss group and i am thinking of joining her, so scary to give up food control though! ARGH!!! could use some prayers!!!!

also its nice when its the local questions, and its between one person!!! hmmm, i wonder who i should vote for!

well here's hoping for good news!!! i don't like to talk about my politically beliefs, so i won't say anything. I just now God has a plan for who our next president is!!!

fabulous weekend, but then again which weekend isn't?

It was such a low key weekend! and a movie weekend! watched Breaking Dawn Part 1, and reading the book (getting ready for part 2 to come out in a couple weeks!) PS I love you, Dirty Dancing, and Secretariat with my dad, which was so much fun!!

FABULOUS!! but just trying to think positively for this weekend!!! we can do it! :)

Sunday night=sadness :(

i had such a relaxing weekend! so sad that its pretty much over. sunday nights are so depressing! but this week is going to be good. Rachel from Grand Rapids is coming down for 4 days to train me!! YAH!!!! so glad!

and its almost november! i also went to the new walmart on this side of town (FINALLY!) and they had Christmas stuff up and Christmas music playing! LOVE IT!!!! so excited, its beginning to look a lot like Christmas!! :)

then after work jackie came home to check out the parents house, its so crazy!!!! looks so nice, but I know my mom is so sick of living in a reno!!! haha! just glad I don't live there anymore!!

Chuck E Cheese weekend!!

So fun! I went to chuck e cheese with Sara!!! it was so great to relieve the memories I have of that place from when I was little. they even have the same characters too!!! haha! i even clobbered Sara in the games! :)

i also just had a "me" weekend too! its nice to be able to fit in so much! went on a walk all three days, Friday night, Saturday, and today I went with Mary from Crossroads and we walked so far! like an hour. and then got lunch, which was so fun!

then I went to Walmart to run some errands and ran into my bestie Sara! haha, so random!!

great weekend, and now I am doing laundry and watching some ice skating on TV!!! awesome! :)

Yes today was monday, but it was a great day! CRAZINESS!!!

work was so fun today!! i really love my co-workers! its fun, but its busy so time goes by really fast! and they are even wanting to teach me how to park, because I stink at parking the scooters! haha!

and then after work I went to my parents house to check out the construction zone, and the kitchen is turning out so FABULOUSLY! they are coming back to this century! the only thing that makes me sad, is that when we were kids we would hide behind the fridge and jump out and scare my dad when he got home from work, except we did it EVERY SINGLE DAY! and i could not believe that he got scared every day, but now I know he was just pretending, but its kinda sad! but the kitchen is being brought into this century!!

and then DWTS! WOW!! love this show! it makes me wanna learn how to dance, I love Emmit Smith, Sabrina Bryan, Melissa Rycroft, Shawn Johnson, Kelly Monaco, Giles Marini; such a fabulous cast! people just need to stop voting for Bristol Palin! I don't care if you like her mom, this is not politics, this is a dance competition! thank you! off my soap box!!! haha!

Mark Schultz concert=AHMAZING!!!

This weekend was so great! got to sleep in yesterday, which was FABULOUS!!! was lazy in the afternoon, then went to church, which was so great to worship and then went to the Mark Schultz concert, which was so great! he has this song called Letter From War and I totally cried, love that song!!!

and the comedian tonight Anita something was so HILARIOUS!!!! she was a singer too, so she would sing songs like versions of popular songs, so funny like "All the Wrinkled Ladies" instead of "all the single ladies" and "Don't Breathe" instead of "Just Breathe!" so funny!

after the concert we got to meet Mark, he just came up to us and was like "anyone want an autograph?" so funny! and we got pics too! and then we also met some of the spirit 92.9 radio personalities, which was so fun, because I feel like I know them, because that is all I listen too!!!

it was just a fun night!

and then i slept in today, was lazy for the first part of the day, and then went for a walk. This weather is so PERFECT! its nice, but not cold!!!

and then now I am just getting ready for the work week! laundry and all that! UGH! i hate mondays, but tomorrow is dancing with the stars, so it makes it a lot better!!! YAH!!

another beautiful weekend!

I just LOVE having the weekends off!!! SO glorious!!! i got so much done, and even went for a bunch of walks! i love this weather, its the perfect weather! hoodie sweatshirts, leaf jumping (although I didn't, but I want too!), hot chocolate!! So great! and went home and hung out with the family today! they were in the middle of painting, and I was going to help, but all I did was refill there brushes! haha!!!

dad and i also watched the end of the race, so that brought up a bunch of memories!! sunday afternoons were always my dads!! for every sport imaginable, and he was so sweet. he always walks me to my car and tonight was like "i love when you come home and check-in!" so chute!!!

love my family! the jobs going okay, still hate being the newbie! but i've made it through 4 weeks, so that's good!!!!

after finally getting out for work on Friday, and having a good day, (HOORAY!) i met up with Sara and we went to Pizza Ranch for supper, which was so much fun! and yummy too!

then we went to mom and dad's since Jackie was coming home to see the "construction destruction" as she calls it, my parents are knocking out the walls between the kitchen and family room and making it open concept, and it just looks so weird, but it was so much fun!!! i just love the joking and stories and trying to talk when everyone else is!! haha! sad that Kevy wasn't around though, but he came over today and asked if he could take a shower, but it was funny the way he asked, like I wouldn't let him. So weird, he was in St. Cloud and didn't want to drive home just to shower and come back to St. Cloud, which makes sense, and it was fun to hang out with him, he's so cute, I love my baby brother!!!

so this weekend has just been majorily relaxing, which has been so nice!!!! I went to church tonight which was great, I love the worship and got to talking with a friend who was in my bible study, and we have plans to get together this week! YAH!!!

just loving life, and tomorrow I have plans to watch the twins game, last home game of the year, and hopeful that Joe can win his 4th batting title, i think, or is it 5th; he's in second place right now!! eeeekkk!!!

AHMAZING weekend!!!

So great, I decided to clean out my closet, since I now have to dress up for work, so I went through and was going to sell a bunch of clothes to Platos Closet, but they just bought a pair of jeans off of me, DARN IT!!! for like 4 bucks, but hey its better than nothing! trying again with tops tomorrow!!

And saturday it was just nice to RELAX!!!!! and then yesterday I went to my friends house, Mary from my Made to Crave group and it was so much fun! we played a bunch of card games, and then went for a walk, and we did the Parade of Homes tour, but only saw one house, but that was still fun!!!

so a great weekend was had and then...........................

its starting to sink in....

my job, i mean!! yah! although its just the beginning, but hooray!! that darn cash register didn't beep at me, which is GOOD!! YAH!!!

and then i got to test drive some scooters around the store, so that was fun too!! and big brother just ended, and DWTS starts next Monday!! HOORAY!!!

so just happy, things are going well! could still use prayers though!! being the newbie is tough!!! just excited that its almost the weekend, although I'm kind of on my own on monday, which is what my trainer said! EEEKKKK!! pray like crazy!!

FABULOUS weekend!!!

So nice to just relax! and i actually got up early saturday morning, did a lot of nothing, mixed with cleaning (my house is so dirty!) and then went to church last night, which was so great! love the worship, and its so great to have other friends there too!

then today Lisa and I went to a twins game, which was so fun! joe played, even though I didn't think he would, and he hit a homer!! AWESOME!!! but they lost, badly!! oh well, it was still fun!!

Kinda sad, but very excited about the future!!!!

So the past two days have been great. Beth brought in brownies for me since she didn't work today, and I got a bunch of super sweet cards from my coworkers, and then today one of the girls brought in cupcakes, YUMMY! so much fun! i am going to miss everyone! One of the girls Kailee was supposed to work, but then got the day off, but she called me and was like "We're gonna miss you!" it was cute!!!! its so scary to leave what you know backwards and forwards and try something new!! so excited, but kinda feeling like its the first day of school for me! EEEKKK!!!

i could use some prayers!
just happy that i work no more weekends, and that i have tomorrow off to rest and recooperate, I've work the last 6 days and i still have to go new job clothes shopping!! YAH!

So much fun to relive my childhood!!!! Now you know how old I am!! haha! i have a very vivid memory of watching and rewinding Beauty and the beast over and over, and my dad always joking that i was going to wreck the VCR and the tape!! AHHH!!! im so old! :)

This weekend was SOOOOO fabulous!!!! on saturday i CLEANED, like crazy!!!! which i needed to do!!! and then i went to church, which was so great to catch up with friends!

and then today i went to the state fair with sara and her mom carol, which was so much fun!! but it was so brutally hot out, but still fun!!!!!

so tired, and now just one more week at my job and then i start my new job!! YAH!!! :)

I am going to be working at a wheelchair company in St. Cloud, no weekends, and regular day shift, oh boy! I'm nervous and could use some prayers!! Thanks!!!!

I gave my notice at work today, which was weird! I start on Monday September the 9th!!! YAH!

Wow, what a fantabulous weekend!!! so much happened, including shooting my first gun!

AHHHHH!!! so freaky!

so it started out with sleeping in and doing nothing on Saturday, which was SOOOOOOO needed!!! and then i went to mom and dad's and slept over, and then we went to church this morning, and I just love going back there and seeing everyone and singing all the old hymns!!

then after church i made the mistake of telling mom i was "bored", which means she put me to work, but it was all good!!

after that jackie came home for kevy's welcome back to the state/belated birthday bash which was so fun! in the middle of that, I went to my friend Paula's baby shower, which was fun! then i went home and kev opened presents and got a new gun from mom and dad, i am really not sure why we keep getting that boy weapons, although when he was younger it was plastic weapons!! haha!

so then he had this genius idea that jackie and i should shoot it, ARGH!!! so scary, but kind of exhiliarating!!! he kept having to get it lined up on me, and Jackie went first and we both screamed for both of us! so funny!!! dad said he could hear us from inside the house! haha!! so crazy, plus my shoulder hurt because of having to hold it steady on there, so freaking crazy!!!!!!

but it was such a fun day!!! seeing so many of my friends and family, and now just sad that the weekend is almost over, but excited about going to the state fair next weekend!!! YAH!!! let's be positive about the work week! WE CAN DO IT!!

Life has been crazy lately!!!!! sad that the olympics are over, but excited for DWTS All Star cast announcement on monday, along with days of our lives returning!! YAH!!!!

Had fun at mom and dad's with sister and then went to church, and its just so great that through our Made to Crave class I've met so many different and wonderful women, its so great to connect with other Christians!!!!!

Tomorrow I am doing nothing, but watching the closing ceremonies and cleaning, so excited huh!!!! Have a great rest of the weekend!!!

fun weekend!!! twins game in the heat, was fun; but sadly we lost!

on saturday i actually got up early, and got so much stuff done!! YAH!!!

then today i woke up early for the twins game, which was SOOOOO much fun! unfortunately we lost BADLY, but it was still fun! sooooo hot out!!! ugh! i am so sunburnt right now!

and guess what? I totally drove to Target Field, and got there and back safetly!! I am so proud of myself, especially with my new car!

its almost the weekend!

and this week has been a pretty great week!!! very fun, yesterday my roomates and i walked over to Lake George, which was so fun, but so warm! nice to walk that far though, i think it was like 4 miles, 2 each way!!!

lake george has like summer concert night each wednesday, and it was really fun! it felt like the state fair!!

so excited!! going to the twins game on sunday with Sara!! but very anxious about next week! I could use some prayers, still can't let the cat out of the bag, but SOOOOOOO excited!!!! its almost the weekend!!! :)

it was a great day, and I did double check that it was indeed Monday!

CRAZINESS! love when I have a good day at work! today was great because I did my first successful I and R, contact lense class. This guy got the contacts right in, and right out! it was UNBELIEVEABLE!! i felt so proud!!!!

its nice when you step up to the plate, and hit a grand slam! fun times! hopefully it ends up being a good week! could use some prayers, still can't say why yet though!!! Love!

I had to work Saturday, which went okay; and then on Sunday afternoon I went home since Kevy was leaving for North Dakota, he was in town for the 4th, so it was fun to hang out with him. We went for a drive in my new car, fun times!!!

Then I spent the afternoon swimming with dad, and he even barbequed for me, YUMMY! so it was a good weekend! and tonight was just relaxing, but so crazy that the twins lost to the rangers in the 13th inning, after the Rangers tied the game in the 9th, it was all because of the broadcaster, I think it was Coom that was like "Its shocking that the Rangers are shut out at home!" and then Perk gave up the big hit in the 9th! ARGH!! oh well, now the twinkies have a break for the all star break, so hopefully they get back into the rhythm!!!

Happy 4th of July!

Had fun out at the pool with mom and dad!!! i don't know how i could be so tired from doing nothing all day, but it was fun! sadly the twins streak ended, but that's okay! we'll get 'em tomorrow!

so happy right now, also yesterday I went for a 2 mile walk with some of my made to crave sisters, which was fun, but this heat is OUTRAGEOUS!! i thought it would be a short little thing because it was so hot, but we walked for 2 miles, and one of the girls lives near me, so hopefully we can get together for more walks!!! FUN TIMES!!! life is good!!!!

sad that its over!! it started out with going to mom and dad's and getting my "new" car on saturday morning!!!! its so cute, its a 2003 Chrysler Sebring, although its not brand new, its new to me!!!!

Then I spent the day out at the pool, and then I went to church last night when I got home, and sat with a girl from my made to crave group! so great!

Then I slept in this morning, and was just lazy! SO NICE!!! and the twins won their double header yesterday and their game today!! WOOT WOOT!!

also watched the Olympic Gymnastics Trials, kinda sad though because my favorite didn't make the team, bummed! but its been a great weekend, and excited to hang out at the pool on the 4th! with the family, plus kevy will be in town visiting! YAH!!!!

another fabulous weekend with the family!

So very nice and relaxing! celebrated our dad on father's day today! such a better celebration than last year, because his triple bypass surgery was the next week!
Also I am SERIOUSLY considering going back to school! kevin was home for the weekend, from his summer job in North Dakota, and he is SOOOOO gung ho on me going back to school, its crazy!

I just cannot believe that next week will have been a year since my dad's surgery! i just cannot comprehend it! i was so scared, and it was about stupid stuff, like is he going to remember us when he wakes up, and it was like DUH!!! it was stupid stuff, but now he is so healthy!! LOVE IT! and love my family! so much fun!!!

Let's make it a great week everyone! i could use some prayers!!! i just joined a weight loss bible study, and this was the first week, and it was HARD!!! AHHH!!!! prayers needed! :)

fun weekend with the family!!!

FABULOUS weekend with the family! that's the most time I've spent at home, in awhile, but it was so great! my grandma was in town, so I went home friday night, slept in saturday and then hung out at the pool all day, and got burnt! and i mean BURNT! i forgot to put sunscreen on my face and shoulders, I think I even burnt my earlobes, is that even possible?

Sister even came too, which was a total surprise to me!!! but very fun! we have this gigantic pool mat that we kept trying to jump on, and my grandma even tried a bunch of times, so scary!!! i was so worried for her, but she was so determined!! haha!

then I stayed over last night and went to church with my parents this morning, which was fun since it was the annual outdoor service, which is baseball related, LOVE!!! so great to sing old classic church hymns, and see my home church family! does that make sense? I love my church in st. cloud, but its always nice to go home and see my original church family!!!

after church i came back to st. clizzy and met up with my friend Lisa for lunch, which was so much fun!!! nice to catch up with her!

Then the rest of toda was basically laundry, and errands and just preparing for the week ahead!!! Have a great week everyone, and count your blessings name them one by one!!!! its an old hymn, look it up! :)

Amazing Weekend continued!!

so nice to just have my parents house all to myself!! so RELAXING! i feel so rejuvenated and so glad that I have wednesday off!!! i feel so refreshed! bring on the week!!! Let's have a good (but short!) week everyone!! Amen?

Phase 1 of the long weekend= AWESOME!!

so much fun! sara and i went to space aliens last night for supper for her birthday, which was yummy! then we played video games, like little kids!! so much fun!

after dinner we went back to her place, and just hung out and played games, and watched The Vow, which was a good movie! so much fun!

Sara said something about how we have so many inside jokes/sayings, and that its weird when she says something only I would know, when I'm not around. Which I've experienced before, and then I get a "what are you talking about look?" and I realize its a joke that just Sara, my bestie, would know! haha! so funny!

after hanging out with her, I went home and tried to take a nap, since we were up all night, and then went to church, which was so great. and now I'm at my parents house, just chillin!!! so nice to have a whole house to myself! i am scrapbooking, watching movies, and just having a gay old time!!! YAH!!!

i'll be so sad when the weekends over! :(

nice to have a day off in the middle of the week! got a lot done yesterday, even went for a walk at Lake George, went again today too! and ran some errands!! Lot's done!

Now excited for the WEEKEND!! its a long one too!!! going to Sara's and having a sleep over to celebrate her birthday, and then going to the parents house and house sitting!! so excited, to have the house to myself and keep the temp where I want it! my roomate and I keep fighting over the air, i seriously am afraid that i am going to FREEZE to death, yes I said freeze!!! haha!
so excited to just kick back and relax for 3 days! WOOT WOOT! :)

wow, this week (end) has been pretty great!!

I feel so hopeful!! I went to the tech college, and I think I might go back to school! not sure for what though, i've been thinking paralegal, but maybe even medical receptionist, so we shall see!!!

and this weekend, was just nice and relaxing!! so peaceful! hung out with Sara on Friday, so that was fun!!! and the twins have been on a role, they were on a 4 game win streak!!! woohoo!!!

so just excited for this coming weekend, as I am housesitting at my parents, while they are at the Indy 500, so I will have a WHOLE house all to myself! YAH!!! :)

I slept in!! always exciting!! and then I had a meeting at the Technical College, i think I might go back to school, which I am really excited about! YAH!! so we shall see!!

what a beautiful weekend!!!

so much fun!!! except for Saturday, because I had a major headache like ALL day! which sucked, but then the cool part was that I went to church and during worship the headache went away!! so cool!

today was so much fun! hung out with the family for mother's day! love my mom, she is so wonderful, and so supportive of us kids, and just always there for me. She always knows what to say to make me feel better!! she's my "go to" person, at least her and my sister!!!

And then tonight has just been about relaxing, and cleaning! my roomate is gone all weekend, and I sure hope when she gets back that she doesn't dirty it up right away, although she probably will!! oh well!

FABULOUSLY chill WEEKEND!!

LOVE IT!! so nice to just relax! i did a bunch of cleaning, and watched the Twins win today! which is always nice! a new girl sang in worship last night, and her voice was AMAZING!!! very relaxing, very needed!

what a FABULOUS weekend!!!

it was just so nice to kick back and relax!! got a lot of stuff done towards the end of the weekend, but it was just nice to catch up on sleep!!!

Yesterday i went home and hung out with the family, which is always fun! kevin has this thing where he is into baking cookies, which is so fun to watch!! :)

and today I got up earlier, went shopping, went for a walk (it was so nice out today!) watched DWTS, which was AWESOME!!! its so nice when you know you got things done! oh and read the bible!! Great weekend! so sad that its almost over, but it will be nice to have a short week this week!

Todays been a great day!

Which was needed because this week has been SOOOOO long!! UGH!!! but very happy that its almost the weekend!!! exciting plans, scrapbooking in kimball, going to see Titanic with Sara, and just chillin'. Very excited about what's coming up in my life, i don't have anything set yet, but I've got hope, and that's what keeps me going. Sure things don't go according to my plan, but I know God has very exciting things coming up!!!

The TWINS ARE ON A ROLL!! if they beat the Yankees tomorrow, then we will have won a series in the bronx!!! EEEKKK!! morneau is back, and awesome!! LOVE my twinkies!!! :)

It's my parents 32nd wedding anniversary, wowza!! see hollywood it can happen!!!! I love my parents so much, they are so amazingly wonderful! i asked dad what he got mom for there anniversary and he said "a candy bar!" and i asked mom the same thing and she said "nothing!" haha!!! they are just so awesome!!! no big deal! they make me believe in love, sometimes I don't think it will happen for me, but sometimes i think it will, and i sure hope we last as long as my parents have. They are such wonderful parents!!!! Thank you God!!

The Twins finally got a win, YAH!!!! WOOT WOOT!! FINALLY, on the 5th game of the season we get the win!!!

had a great day off, basically did nothing!! i started my annual skating tape watching, which takes me back to so long ago!! nice to have a day off, but then I have to work Saturday!! YUCKY POO!!! oh well!!! just glad I have a job!

So thankful for what Jesus did for me!!! Thank you daddy!!!!

We actually celebrated Easter today which was alot of fun! We watched our passion play "The Promise" which we all love, especially with the Brooks Brothers!!! We love the music and we are thinking of going to see the show in Glen Rose Texas sometime, that would be so awesome! :)

We then got Easter presents, Gas gift cards! AWESOME, especially with the price of gas going up! and I found some ADORABLE pictures of me and Jackie when we were little, can't wait to post!!! LOVE!!

Went to church tonight and it was AWESOME, amazing worship and so moving!! and tomorrow is Ressurection Sunday, YAH! Thank you Jesus!!!! Hope you have an awesome holiday with your loved ones! :)

Wow this week has been so crazy!

and its only Wednesday!! still not sure what I'm gonna do about the townhouse!! ACK!!!! but very much looking forward to relaxing with the family this weekend for Easter!! YAH!!! Almost Friday! and then the Twins season starts, I have a very good feeling that this year will be a "worst to first" kinda year! YAH!! go twinkies! although I'm gonna miss cuddy!!! way sad! Oh well!

AHH!! weekend was FABULOUS!!! hung out with Sara on Friday night, which was so much fun!!! Good times with the bestie!!

Then I slept in on Saturday, which was GRAND!!! really slept in, like embarassed to say till how late, and then I went to church and Sam and Kev were there. I love when they come!!!

Then yesterday I went to the parents house and hung out with the family, which is always fun and interesting!!! There was a HUGE snapping turtle in the yard!! IT WAS HUMUNGOUS!!!! so creepy!!! eeekkk!!!

And then even crazier news, I am looking at a townhouse tonight, which is so exciting! its super cheap, so we shall see what I think of it!! And Sam wants to possibly be my roomate, which would be AWESOME!! can't wait!

Finally, my 2012 Stars on Ice Review!!!

Opening: Kind of cheesy and weird, with all the voice overs. I can kind of see how this number could not work with the timing being off, but the timing was on, so that was good. Loved Katia and Ilia skating together! So great to see them do a lift together! Funny part was when Joannie spoke in English, and the guys (I think Todd and Ryan) were like “totally understood that!”

Katia: “Love will keep us together”: Great number! Loved it, but I of course love Katia! So playful and fun! She unfortunately had a hard fall on her double axel, and she doesn’t have much weight on her to cushion the fall, but she did bounce right back up and carry on. Crazy that she is almost 41 and still doing difficult jumps!

Fun transitions happened with the guys in the first act, and the girls in the second act. Ilia is really funny!!

Kyoko Ina and John Zimmerman: “Johnny Got a Boom, Boom!” so much fun to have these two back on the tour. They did all there big highlight moves, “Fly High and Say Bye”, “the head banger” and everything else under the sun. So much fun to see them!

Kurt: “I’m yours” Kinda bummed that Kurt recycled an old program, even though I understand he was dealing with being director and choreographer. Nice jumps though! He’s still got it! Kinda cheesy, but I still love him!

Sasha Cohen: “Dos Gardenias” Beautiful program! Sad that she doesn’t jump anymore, but understandable with school. She is still uber flexible, and fun to watch! Some new moves for her too, so that is nice to see. Much better costume than what Betsy Johnson designed for her for Fashion on Ice.

Ryan Bradley: “Foot Loose!” AWESOME!! He is so charming, and so fun to watch!! His still has his jumps, which is always nice to see! His back flip tricks are kinda scary though! I think we were spoiled with having Kristi Yamaguchi on tour for ten years, and doing all the big jumps!

Joannie Rochette: “Formidable” LOVE her too! This program was flirtatious, but in a cute way! Not over the top! She had a ribbon around her neck for most of the program, but then went into the crowd and flirted with a guy in the front row! Lucky guy! I really liked the song too, it switched between English and French (her native language). She had some jump problems, a nice triple toe, but then everything was doubled or singled (axel).

Todd, Kyoko, and John: “Waiter’s Gallop”: Fun number featuring the three, but one of Todd’s solos. He is the waiter for Kyoko and John. He gets there table ready, and then helps Kyoko to sit and tries to help John sit too, but he falls! And Todd proceeds to do a double axel and some spins, before John gets his attention and motions with his cup that he would like something to drink. So off Todd goes to get it, doing crazy footwork down to one side of the rink and he grabs a pitcher with water, and proceeds back to his table and spills the water all over on the way back to Kyoko and John! And then he pours water all over John, an accident of course! J Todd then goes to get them there food, and tries not to drop the trays while he does footwork back to the table! He does more skating and footwork, while his guests are eating, and then comes back to them to take their food away and give them the bill. Which John then mouths something like “Are you kidding me?” and while the waiter isn’t paying attention, his two patrons disappear, without paying the bill, so Todd gives it to someone in the first row!! Fun character driven number, and he is doing full out skating 95% of the time! The program says that Ben Agosto choreographed it too!

Sinead and John Kerr are a great addition to the cast! Love John, he’s such a cutie! They skated to a serious piece of music, but I did love it. I’m more into comedy, but this number kept my attention the whole time. Nice lifts and intricate footwork! Loved it!

Ilia: Violin version of “Who Wants to Live Forever”: I LOVE THIS SONG, and man can Ilia still skate. He hit a bunch of triples too!! I’m not a huge Ilia fan, just when he skates with Katia though! J

Rolling in the deep: LOVED THIS GROUP NUMBER!!!! So crazy with footwork (I’m sure that was all Kurt!) Starts with Kurt, Todd, and Ryan with miked skates (very reminiscent of 5 minutes for Icing, way back when!) It’s really cool the music that skating makes! J Then as the music picks up some of the ladies join in. Loved the ladies costumes, black pants and sparkly halter navy blue tops. After pairing off with the 3 guys, I think it was Katia, Sinead, and Joannie; then the John’s came in lifting Kyoko and Sasha. (John Kerr lifting Kyoko, and John Zimmerman lifting Sasha). And then they did this really cool weaving circle (kind of hard to explain) and it looked awesome. Not your typical group skate! There was certainly a possibility of a collision, but they were all on! And then all the guys grab a girl and lift her, so cool! And then the ladies do spirals down the whole length of the ice, with one push, and then the guys came and rescued them!! BEAUTIFUL! It was definitely my favorite group number of the night! It ended with Kyoko getting thrown up by John!

2^nd Act opening: “A Life Loved” Featuring John and Sinead, Katia and Ilia, Joannie and Kurt, and Todd. Starts out with Todd dressed as an old guy sitting in a chair, looking at a picture of Katia (his wife!). Then the Kerr’s come out and do some skating and you find out they are in love, and then John pops the question. Then Katia and Ilia come out and do the same basic pattern we saw from the Kerr’s and when Ilia is lifting Katia, she starts to look sick, and then we find out they are expecting. Then Joannie and Kurt come out dressed as old people, and try to do the same routine, but since they are so old, it’s so hard for them to do it!! Funny! Then all of the sudden Joannie looks like she has a heart attack, and we all witness her “dying” and then Todd picks up the picture of Katia, and as the routines were happening you can see Todd reliving the moments. Such a sad number, but I did like it.

Ryan: “The Best is yet to Come” Love me some Frank Sinatra, and really loving Ryan! He is so cute, and such a great performer! He landed a HUGE triple axel too!! Nice to see great skating with good jumping! More back flip tricks too!

Sinead and John skating to “Pencil Full of Lead”: They are both wearing BRIGHT pink! Starts out with them sleeping on the ice, and then John gets ready to blast her with an alarm clock. And she pops up, and off they go! Full of footwork and fun lifts. They also do there infamous lift, where she lifts him, which I love! These two are a great addiction to the cast! Have I mentioned how darn cute John Kerr is?

Joannie: Indestructible, wearing a SUPER tight black jump suit. I wasn’t quite sure about this program, I like Joannie when she does soft, lyrical skating, but it was nice that she is trying different pieces of music! Very upbeat and ‘dancey’ program! She had some more jump problems, just popping the jumps! She did do a nice triple toe though.

Todd: “Amazed” Love this song!!! Great skating, classic Todd. He did a nice double axel, but that was it. Love his spins, great program!

Waiting for my Real Life to Begin: Ryan, Kurt, John Kerr, and John Zimmerman: This was an AWESOME group number. They had 4 rigs of lights set up, and that was the only lighting they used in the program. Basically they all did there specialty moves in this little section of the ice.  Very different program I LOVED it! Kurt did some spread eagles all over the place, so the guys used the light and had it follow him. Each guy had his moment to shine.

Then they used these lights to shine on Sasha Cohen for her entrance to her Big Spender program! LOVED it, but was so afraid she was going to fall out of her costume! EEEKKK!!! Such a fun number, her personality is really coming out! Super sparkly silver costume!! No jumps, but understandable because of school.  Loved the different versions of Big Spender she used, and she had a lot of unique choreography, especially lying on the ice! And then the splits to end the routine at the end, OUCH!

Ilia: Love in this Club. Honestly I didn’t care for it, sure he’s a great jumper and everything, but I didn’t like the music, so that was probably part of it. But he still can seriously JUMP!!!!

Kyoko and John: Take Me There: LOVED THIS NUMBER!! It’s so nice that they show they can do the fast and fun numbers, as well as the slow and soft numbers. They do there awesome lift that they did with their Pink Floyd number where they do the star lift and then go into multiple positions. I love there lifts, and that they do a million positions in each one!!! Loved it!

Katia: Feelin’ Good was AWESOME!!! Loved the costume, and just how unique the program is. Very interesting! She nailed her double axel in this program. Love that she is still doing “hard” jumps, at least for a pair’s skater! Awesome footwork sequences too! It’s a different style for Katia, but I loved it. It was sexy, but not over the top crazy sexy! Then they transition from her to Kurt, who is skating to a different version of the song. She skates off, and you hear her say, “hey”, then Kurt says “hey back.” Then Katia says “Feeling Good?” and Kurt responds, “Oh yeah!” and then his version starts, which I actually liked his better. Then he flips her a black dapper hat, and she puts it on the ice and leaves.

Kurt: Feeling Good. So cool to see different programs to the same song, I don’t think that has been done before, since Katarina Witt and Paul Wylie did Schindler’s List in the early 90’s. He’s even wearing the same dark colors as Katia. I never have considered Kurt sexy, but this number was AWESOME!!! In the beginning when the music is crescendoing, he does a HUGE double axel; I swear he could’ve done a triple! J Then I thought ‘Cyril Lutz’ was going to do a triple lutz, but he faked me out and reversed direction into an awesome triple toe. He is the King of the double axel, triple toes, and triple salchows!!! I really liked his version of Feelin’ Good, better than whoever sang Katia’s!!

Finale time, so sad! In Lake Placid Sasha is lifted around the ice without any skates on, remisciant of her ballet inspired group number a couple years ago, but in Chicago she had the skates back on. Basically this number was all footwork, and when I say footwork, I mean FOOTWORK!!! They do this really cool move where they are all in a cluster together just sailing down the ice! I really liked the dresses the girls were wearing black with a bit of white, and the guys were wearing really cool black shirts with black pants. Then towards the end the music goes into a drum beat and they do these really cool moves in synch, and then the lights go out and so you think “oh sad it’s over!” but nope, then they go full speed into more footwork!! I loved the choreography and steps are different, and not the typical groups numbers!! Nice work Kurt, especially with just a couple days to work with the cast!! I thought it was a great show, wasn’t my favorite, but it was up there. Very sad that the Canadian tour is getting more stops than the US, hopefully there are more next year, although I think because of the small amount, that is why we get Katia, Ilia, Kurt, and all those who have kids at home. So it’s definitely a catch 22, but I will always make an effort to get to my favorite tour. Gotta start saving now for next year!!

Today=Awesome!!!

So it started out with meeting Lisa @ Famous Daves for lunch, which was FABULOUS! and we planned a twins game, so I'm excited about that, and a scrapbooking date too!! YAH!

Then there was some skating on, which was equally awesome and then i went home and hung out with the family!!! good times!! most everyone was sleeping, which is pretty typical at the Sommers house on a Sunday afternoon, but mom and I caught up, since its March Madness it took some time before I got dad's attention, and then I went around the farm, taking pictures for my cousins, who haven't seen it in a long time, and went to the back of the pond with our dog Lady, which was super great. Nice to get some fresh air, and always fun to be at my childhood home because of all the awesome memories. I just love that its been in our family for well, EVER basically!!!

and then it was just fun to hang with the family, and we watched Degrassi Junior High together, which is a favorite of Sam's, so that was fun too! and now I am chillin, because I don't have to go back to work until wednesday!! AWESOME SAUCE!!!! well later, I hope to get some cleaning and organizing done in the next couple of days!!! Night! have a great monday (insert not so severe sinister laugh!!!)

Wow, its been a while!!!

Guess what? I've got a four day weekend!! WOOT WOOT! so hopefully i will have updates galore, although there really isn't much to tell, since the same old, same old; but Twins season is quickly approaching, so that is exciting! soon, you will get to read about Joe Mauer daily! haha! I am so excited to sleep in tomorrow!! YAH! the most exciting part of my life is catching up on sleep!!! Updates soon, I promise! :)

Relaxing couple of days off, so nice!

Been able to sleep in, which is AWESOME!! didn't even set an alarm a couple nights ago, I LOVE doing that!! been cleaning, and relaxing. So enjoyable, but back to work tomorrow, on a saturday, yuck! but im sure the day will be fine. Still working on my SOI review, so I will post once its finished!!!

Chicago Trip was AWESOME!!!

Love that place! we had such a fun father/daughter weekend! the skating show was okay, but it was just fun to get away; even for the weekend! more details when I have a day off! and pics and video to come too! :)

I got to sleep in, which is so enjoyable!! nice to just chill, and then dad, sam, kev, and I went to church together tonight, which was so awesome!! even though our worship is so different from kimball, it was a lot of fun!!!

then we came home, to Kimball, and watched movies and hung out! now getting ready to leave for chicago soon! YAH!!! can't wait! :)

Its the WEEKEND!!!!

YAH!!! leaving for Chicago tomorrow night (3 AM, so technically Sunday morning!) haha! can't wait! dad wants to go up the Sears Tower, YAH! and i just found out Kristi Yamaguchi is going to be at the show, signing autographs!!!! AWESOME!!! so excited! just to get away for a long weekend is awesome!!

some other news, Jackie got me addicted to this scrabble like FB game, so I basically played all night!! haha! well I better get some sleep!! excited to have the family come to church with me tomorrow too! fun, fun, fun! :)

Today was great, and I did double check that it is Monday!

Wow, I just had a really great day at work today!! WOOT WOOT!! i did my first I and R (insert and removal contact lenses training) but it didn't happen. It was hard though, because I wanted to be like "this is how I do it, and I rock at this!" oh well! next time though!

Other than that, no complaints! the day went nice and quick! can't wait to go to She-kago this weekend! YAH! :)

i LOVE my family!

We had so much fun today celebrating Samantha's birthday! We always have pizza and brownies (or for the summer birthdays, which is the boys, hamburgers) and then play games! fun times! We played a bunch of card games and then someone started to sing Kimball cheerleading songs, so we sang a bunch of those!! I am so blessed!

What a fabulous and relaxing weekend! Sam and Kev came up for church, which is always fun!! So excited for next weekend! I'm going to Stars on Ice in Chicago with dad, of course!! YAH! things are great! :)

a much needed, relaxing day off!!

YAH!! got some stuff done, always nice to do that!! and be a bit lazy too!!!! nothing much going on, just the norm working!! i miss mom and dad, they are in Florida for two weeks, and its nice and sunny, and we are finally getting snow here, which is so weird!!! of course it was nice here, when I was in Florida in December! crazy! :)

AWESOME scrapbooking weekend!!

SO GREAT!!! but i am so tired!!! it started out in Kimball, scrapbooking with Jill and Lisa. Fun times, to show them around my house!! :)

It is mostly catch-up time, and movie time, I really didn't get a lot done; scrapbook wise, oh well!!! Then on Saturday morning (EARLY-yuck!) we went to monticello to a swan park, since Jill loves them, there were like 200 trumpeter swans, and they seriously sound like trumpet players, it was so gorgeous! then we went to perkins, and then back to the house to scrapbook! we watch HSM 1, 2, and 3, and the end of The Bodyguard! Great movie!!

Its just kind of sad, because Jill got laid off from CM a couple weeks ago, and is moving back to Wisconsin. I'm gonna miss her! she leaves Friday, but we are going to get dinner Thursday night, so that will be fun!! I hate good-byes!!

Well this weekend was awesome, but I feel as though I got no sleep, so that is where I'm headed! Have a great week everyone!

Monday= Fun day with the family!

So after work I went to mom and dad's because I went to Sam's basketball game tonight! while I get home and kevin enlists my help to transcribe for his paper he's working on, and then he offers to pay me for it, but then he got sick of it, so that didn't work out, but it was so much fun! his papers are so fun to read! "The Cuba Missle Crisis was bad!" for real!!

after that he made me watch some medical show, about a guy that got a pipe stuck in his head, so disgusting, I had to leave the room!
but the fun part was going to Sam's basketball game, it was so weird to be back at my old high school. It will be 10 years since I graduated next summer! CRAZINESS! fun to be there! even though they lost, it was alot of fun to hang out with the family!! Good times! can't wait for the weekend, scrapbooking with my girlfriends!!! YAH! :)

FABULOUS weekend!!!

So awesome!!! Just what I needed to get out of my funk, it started with having the full weekend off (that always helps!) and then Betty showed up at work, and it was a bit before my shift ended so we went out for supper, which was so much fun! great to catch up, I missed my co-worker, and just how in sync we were with everything going on, it was CRAZY!

Then I went home and hung out with the family Friday night into Saturday, which was so nice to just go home and relax, although Jackie woke me up early, but then mom and I took naps, so it was still relaxing. Its always nice to go home and just feel like a kid again!!! Good times!

Then Sam, Kev, and I went to church together last night; its always great to have someone to go to church with!!!

Then I went and bought the new Breaking Dawn DVD, it came out Friday night, but I just don't want to be one of those girls, who are always in line for the midnight showings and in line to get the DVD when its released at midnight, so I had a mini Twilight Marathon last night and all day today! FABULOUS! so much fun to just kick back and relax! very needed!

I'm also excited for tomorrow, as I'm going to Kimball for Sam's basketball game, which I'm kinda nervous about, it will be so weird to be back at my old high school, I just cannot believe next year will be 10 years since I graduated, we shall see about going to the reunion, Sara wants to go, but me; not so much! haha! Unless I loose a million pounds between now and next year!!!

Do you ever just feel stuck in a rut?? ugh, I am so annoyed! I feel like I do the same thing over and over again, and just live for the weekends!! I do have our Chicago trip coming up next month, but I seriously get so sick of my life. Any suggestions on how to spice it up? I feel like all I do is eat, sleep, work, and relax; and repeat!!!

Twins and skating weekend!!

Twinsfest was so much fun!!! I actually bought a piece of the metrodome roof, since they had to replace it last winter because of the collapse!!! we got to see Joe, Denard Span, Justin Morneau, and Drew Butera!!! very fun to see the players, as Twinsfest means that the season is starting pretty soon, and I am sure that we are going to have a much better season this year, than last. Besides in 1986 we had the worst record, and then we won the world series in 1991, so I think it is perfect!

Then today was skating day!! so fun, love to watch it! My favorite Alissa didn't win, but she still got second, so that's good that she is still going to worlds!

sadly though I did take all my Christmas decorations down, which stinks! but I am excited because I am getting lunch tomorrow with Lisa, so it will be fun to catch up with her!

Its been a fun weekend, so far!!

I celebrated Christmas with Sara last night, which was so much fun!!! sad that Christmas is now "officially" over!!! fun to have a slumber party!! Then I was going to meet up with my CM buddies for supper tonight, but that didn't happen, so its just been a nice lazy Saturday night. I watched Tangled, which I LOVE! and tomorrow I'm gonna hang out with the family for Jackie's birthday! FUN TIMES!!!! Can't wait for next weekend as its TWINSFEST time!! YAH! :)

You know how when you have a day off, and you have a list of things you need to get done....

and then you don't do them!!! its kinda stinky, and it just feels like I accomplished nothing!! ugh!!! Oh well, going to bed. It was sure nice to have a day off in the middle of the week, and not have to work on Saturday!! YAH!! so excited because we are celebrating Christmas (me and Sara) on friday and saturday, and then I'm going to the parents house to celebrate sisters birthday!! FUN!!!! can't wait! its almost the weekend, we can make it! :)

Its the weekend!!

Its actually been a really good week!! YAH! works been going fairly well too, which is a plus! Today was great, especially considering it was Friday the 13th, (knock on fake wood, which is our front desk!) haha!

So Jill (friend from CM) came and got her eyes checked, then we went out for supper, which was great to play catch up!!!!

And now the rest of the weekend is me playing "catch up" with my pillow, and not setting an alarm!! WAHOO!! i am so thrilled, I hope I don't sound like a complete loser for being so excited! but I just need to catch up on sleep, so off I go (until my bladder wakes me up!!) so annoying!!!

Great end to the week!!

Man work has been so fun lately, just the jokes and everything. One of our patients was considering going back to Contact lenses, and I was hoping she didn't need like a refresher class, and I said to one of our doctors "I hope its like riding a horse" what I meant to say was "I hope its like riding a bike" or "getting back on the horse!" while we both cracked up laughing, it was HILARIOUS!!!

Good times! Today was crazy, but good crazy. I'm starting to like when its steady; not super crazy and not super slow. Yesterday it was kind of like spring cleaning around the office, which is always nice to spruce up the place.

But its finally the weekend, and now no more Saturdays for me until February, which is so nice. I don't remember the last time I had two days in a row off, SO WAHOO!!!!!!

Don't you hate when you go to church (not that part) and you just cannot get focused on the message. There are some Sunday's (or saturdays in my case) where I am just lead my the Holy Spirit and the worship is amazing and the message inspiring, but tonight I just felt like I wasn't there. Its so sad, I know I need to work on praying beforehand to get my mind to focus. I have been doing more bible reading and devotions, my parents got me a great devotional for Christmas.

I am just glad to have tomorrow off, another day to relax, although I will probably do a bunch of cleaning, and its a skating day tomorrow (mean lot's of skating on TV) which is always exciting for me!! I hope you all have a great weekend!!!

Christmas 2011

I can't believe I haven't written up my review for Christmas! It was so much fun!!! very chilled and relaxing with the fam. I couldn't believe there wasn't any snow though, not sure of the last time that has happened in Minnesota!!

We watched movies, and ate junk food, and then we went to Christmas Eve services, and then we were just waiting on Kev and Sam, since they were at her mom's house, and when they got back, we did the traditional Christmas story reading out of the bible, and then we opened presents. FUN times!!! I got lots of cool stuff, and it was just fun to hang out with the family!! dad got another school picture of mom, which is now a tradition, that we must have happen year after year! i love that she still gets school pics, because she works at an elementary school! haha! :)

Santa even came the next morning, which was great!!! he even brought mom some Christmas socks, that matched with us girls!!! It was fun testing out Kevin's new beef jerky maker, sounds like it tasted good. It takes so long to do, but I had to leave cuz I had to work the next day.

We watched movies on Christmas day, and still kept eating. Very fun times!!!!!! I love my family!!! can't wait for next Christmas, I hate when its over, its just so sad! :(

Today was AMAZING!!!

It was so nice and relaxing to have a day off!!! so great! I slept in, watched some skating, starting reading a really good book (courtesy of my sister) who is a GREAT author!!! I did some cleaning, I was going to go shopping, but decided to just chill; and it was so wonderful and so needed, and I'm so sad that I have to go back to work, but now that we got a new employee I don't have to work as much, so that part is AWESOME!!!

I am SOOOOOOOOOO exhausted!!! work was so CRAZY busy with two doctors all week, aka insurance week. I am just glad its over.

Saturday was a great end to the work week, and then hanging out with Sara was so much fun! we always have a bunch of laughs, good times! we decided to celebrate Christmas in a couple weeks, which I love that we do after the new year!! nice to still have "christmas" coming up! in a way!

And then this afternoon was a lazy, skating afternoon. VERY VERY nice, and very needed!!

Still going to post Trip/Christmas stuff when I have time!! I feel like I've been crazy busy forever now! I need some me time!!!

It was nice to be back to my St. Cloud church too!!!
