Well 2013 has been a great year!!! I became healthy for the first time in my adult life, and I kept my new years resolution all year (which is just crazy!) I still cannot believe that I've lost 75 pounds, I sometimes look at old pictures and cannot believe it!!
2013 was definitely a fun year! I went to many concerts Chris Tomlin with Lisa, Hanson with my sister and Sara (seeing Taylor Hanson and hearing them sing MMMbop was pretty amazing!), also went to see the Newsboys with Lori and Mary!
My big news would be my new job at the St. Cloud Medical Group, which i am very excited about. I've been there almost 4 weeks now and still learning, but everyone has been great and I have a good feeling about this place!
I went on many trips to, Disney World with dad, Womens retreat with the crossroads church (and went zip lining!), Chicago for Stars on ice (with dad!) and then a group of us from Crossroads went back to Camp Lebanon for a weekend with my "Jesus girls!"
I also was involved in a lot of small group bible study with Crossroads and I have loved every single one of them!!
My sister also got a publishing contract for her book Truest (hopefully coming sooner than 2015 or 2016) and a book she has to write! i am so excited!!!
So 2013 has officially been an awesome year! Can't wait to see what is in store for me in 2014!!!

Wow, its been a crazy month (New job, Disney, Christmas!!! oh my)
Just wanted to update you guys! Got back from Disney last week, which was so fun! Still so tired, I did gain a pound when we got back and then had a cheat day on Christmas eve (but got sick from eating so much, never doing that again!) and had so much fun with the family and now working out like crazy to get ready for my first weigh in since Disney and Christmas! i am SOOOOO nervous! EEKKK!! be praying! The new job is going well, ive been on my own for a week, and it went okay! Still being a newbie is so hard, so keep praying! I do like that it has been short weeks, so that is helpful! Well lets have a great week everyone and a great new year! i cannot believe its almost 2014 and Ive lost 75 pounds! Im just baffled!!! and seriously, if i can do it, anyone can do it!!! Happy Christmas and New Years!

i lost 75 FREAKING pounds! I am so excited!
I am currently in a size medium!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!! i wanna scream it from the rafters but I won't! haha!!!
Ive had to shop for new scrubs because mine don't fit so my mom is going to try and sew some of my old ones to make them smaller, but we shall see, Im not sure how good she will be at this, especially considering anytime she cut my bangs she would come after me with a scissors for a week afterward tweeking my hair!! haha!!! oh and the clothes my mom made me when i was little!! i have nightmares just thinking about it!
anyway, i just wanted to share my good news!!!!!! YAH!!!! and seriously, if i can do this (queen of the couch potatoes!) anyone can do this!!!!

Holidazzle parade
This year I went to the holidazzle with Sara and it was DOWNRIGHT cold!! but very fun!! We went early with the Spirit 92.9 bus and checked out the Macy's display and then we walked around and then it was time to get outside and FREEZE!! and i had multiple layers on! Let's see I had two sock layers, two pant layers, 4 top layers, headband, head scarf, regular scarf and two mitten layers!!! it was still cold, but a lot of fun! when i got home and worked out, it was crazy to me how I could be hot all of the sudden!!! LOL!!!!
Tonight some friends and I were going to check out a Walk Through Christmas which is a nativity show at the Waters church in Sartell, but my friend got called to work last minute and next weekend I am going to be in Florida!!! (WOOT WOOT!) i am kinda hopping it gets cold here, so I can brag about how nice it is down there, when I am not in MN! does that make sense??? 5 more days!!! YEEEEPPPP!! so excited!!!

i SURVIVED my first day!!! WOOT WOOT!
so exciting!! It was snowing like crazy, so I left plenty early and actually got there at like half an hour early which was good! better early than late!
and i was only there for a couple hours for orientation, so it was good. I'm really excited, I think this is going to be great! I have a really good feeling! keep praying!!!

Last day at Wheelchairs Plus!!!
Kinda sad, I'm gonna miss everyone over there! From the service guys Crazy Mike (uh huh huh huh!) Tommy G and Jason's stories to the girls my buddy Cassandra who hates the twins to Angie who LOVES the twins!!
And our Grand Rapids office people including Rose, Laurie, and Rachel! Its been a fun year and a half, but I am very excited and ready for this opportunity at St. Cloud Medical Group. I have a good feeling about this!! Although we are expecting big amounts of snow tomorrow, YIKES! of course this would happen to me on my first day at my new job! UGH! i could definitely use your prayers!
My last day was really fun though. We got Extreme Pita which is AWESOME, and I am kinda sad that I am not going to be close enough for lunch there anymore. sadness, but when I picked it up EP has this deal going on where if you buy a $25 you get a free meal!!! excited, so i texted Sara and that is what we are getting each other for Christmas, we are OBSESSED!!!!! but i forgot that i am supposed to forget this; wait what? I'm confused. haha!
but yes, i am sad to be leaving, but very excited for the St. Cloud Medical Group, I have a very good feeling about this!

Kimball Church of Christ
I went to my parents house last night and then went to church with them this morning. I just love going back to my home church, it was so fun to see everyone and Adam Magnuson preached, and he was WONDERFUL! i will still remember him as the little boy who would come over after church to hang out with Kevin, but then Kevin and Adam's brother would go play outside and Adam would sit by my dad and watch sports with him and it would drive my dad crazy. He would try to have mom and anyone else get him to go outside and play with the other boys! but he loved hanging out with dad! I can't blame him though, I love hanging out with my dad too!!!
and now to have him preach, that was pretty great!!!
it was just nice to check in and see all those I've grown with. It's always good to reconnect with your roots, although it is SOOOOOO cold at my parents house! BRRRR!!! forgot what it was like to be in an old farmhouse, so thats why I left my favorite twins sweater that is WAY too big for me, which rocks, at my parents, so I can use it when I am home! HAHA!!

it was so great! I got so much done and feel like this is the first time I am just sitting down and chilling! which is so crazy! I worked out like CRAZY this weekend, like i am telling you C R A Z Y!!! I didn't know I would turn into an exercise freakazoid, but I think I have!! haha!!
I also did A LOT of cleaning in my house and Christmas decorating, so it looks so nice! YAH! also I just feel like I am organizing my personal life, so I feel like my professional work life will be organized. I am so excited albeit nervous about starting at the St. Cloud Medical Group on Wednesday. I feel like this is my "dream job" just because I am a patient there and I've always wanted to work there, and now I get too! I'm pretty stocked, I just have pre work jitters! I hope things go well! keep praying for me!

Happy "pizza" day otherwise known as Turkey day!!
heehee!!!
My family and I usually do pizza on thanksgiving, just because I don't like traditional thanksgiving food! haha! While this year, call us crazy, but with mom and dad in Missouri visiting my grandma and family out there, my siblings and I were going to have a sibling thanksgiving, but my sister and I were both exhausted (with everything going on with my new job, I just need a "me weekend!") and kevin was going to be invested in football all day, and besides I think we should be thankful every day, not just once a year, but anyway we decided to just do thanksgiving on our own, which was just fine with me. I start my new job next week and I am getting so nervous and excited, and I want to Christmas decorate tomorrow, but my house is a pigstye, so I've basically been cleaning all day!! haha, im such an exciting person!
the best part was sleeping in and letting my body wake me up, which is the BEST feeling in the world, I also went shopping yesterday to get food supplies for the long weekend. Sara and I hung out yesterday and did EP wednesday instead of Friday, and then around 2:00 in the morning I forgot that i needed lettuce and milk, so Sara and I went to Coborns across the road, good times with the bestie! Anyway, today has been awesome, very chill and laid back, although I've been cleaning like crazy and working out like crazy!!
but now the Christmas season has "officially" begun! WAHOO!!! I am going to start decorating, as soon as I am done cleaning!! EEEKKK!!!
so excited about everything coming up this December, are you ready?

what an awesome birthday weekend!
it continued this morning with getting a walk up call from my friend Brenda, for church! YAH! still getting used to going to church on Sunday morning.
church was great, Lynn (my mom's maid of honor and good friend) sang, which I LOVE when she does!
then after church Brenda, Lori, Darlene and I went to see a movie called Free Birds, it was such a cute cartoon about turkeys and thanksgiving! it ended quite funny, as the turkeys, indians, and pilgrims ate Chuck E Cheese pizza! sooooo funny! as that is what is on the menu for thanksgiving!
then i went home and watched some skating! YAH! and then i met up with Lisa to get some hot chocolate! its been such a fun weekend, and I am oh so blessed by my friends and family! its going to be a good 29th year on this planet!!!

I'm 29 now! YIKES STRIPES! that's old!!!
Today was so fun! I slept in, which i always enjoy! Then Jackie and I went to hang out with mom and dad; Kevin is in Arkansas for SCSU football game, which you would think would mean its so much quieter at our house, but nope! still wasn't able to get in a word edge wise, which i LOVE! Its so much fun hanging out with my family, love them so much! mom and dad got me a Mickey bag (that's blingy!) and a disney gift card! Disney here we come! Jackie got me a galaxy player, which means I can be online whenever! and dad's excited because we can be online at Disney and see disney wait times!! AWESOME!
we just hung out, since my sister just got a contract for her book (more on that later!) i hit her up for all the juicy details! I'm so excited and so proud! and we talked about my new job, i just feel so happy for us and happy that my mom doesn't have to stress about us so much i feel like i complain to her a lot! I love my momma!!!
after Jackie left, which stunk! dad and i went into Disney trip planning mode, which is always so much fun!!! Im so excited! so glad that i am still able to go on my trip, even with starting my new job!!! yeeeeepppp!!!
Also had fun yesterday with Sara to get my birthday weekend off to a great start! We went to EP (shocker!) and then hung out at my place. She got me pink mitten clippers, so i can keep track of my mittens, which I loved, AND a gift card to EP!!! WAHOO!!!! i am so blessed!

I'm so blessed!
Today was FABULOUS! we celebrated Thanksgiving at work and then after work I went to Walgreens to bell ring for the salvation army with Judy and Sue from church, which was so much fun!!! I feel like I am getting to know so many great people from my church! YAH!
and my sister has AMAZING news, but i can't let the cat out of the bag yet, but it is BIG! so big and exciting!!!! can't wait to announce it, I'm such a proud deetie!!! :)

i have BIG jobs news! Im so excited!
I got a new job!! YAH! i turned in my two weeks notice and got a job at St. Cloud Medical Group. I will be a receptionist float at the two st. cloud clinics. eeekkk! I've always wanted to work there, so I am so excited for this opportunity!!!! Wow, its been a good week! Thank you God for such great news!!! Hallelujah!!

pre-birthday celebrations!!
i had so much fun last weekend celebrating my birthday a week early with my bestie Sara. It started off with meeting up at Extreme pita! Love that place, so yummy! and good for you too!! i also bought a pair of tennis shoes for Florida, which i will need to keep up with my dad! :)
after the shopping we went back to Sara's and we watched a Walk to Remember, which I just LOVE! so good! after that we were going to look at our old yearbooks, but I feel asleep! YES, me, the girl who never falls asleep early at a sleepover!!! I know, i was shocked too!
so i did get up early the next day and we had fun, we went back to Extreme Pita for lunch, I know we are CRAZY! but its just so good! and then we did some shopping.
then we went back to Sara's and hung out for a bit, it was so much fun! its always nice to hang out with your bestie and forget about your problems!!
the rest of the weekend was FABULOUS too! yesterday was pretty lazy, but still combined with working out so its not technically lazy, and I did go into work for about an hour!! and then i had a marathon facebook conversation with my good friends, so that was fun too! its just been a great weekend! can't wait to hang out with the family on saturday which is my actual birthday! i can't believe I am going to be 29, that is just CRAZY! :)

wow, its seriously been a month since i've updated you guys! I'm sowy. pweeee forgive meee!!!
Life has been CRAZY and I mean CRAZYYYYYY!!! but good! 2013 has been a really good year! I'm now down 68 pounds since joining weight watchers in January, YAH! but unfortunately last week I had my first gain, which stinks. I went 10 months without a gain, but I knew it would happen eventually, and now I am kicking it up a notch and working out more!!!
and guess what, the fun and AWESOMELY awesome holidays are coming up! and Dad and i are going to Disney in just under a month!! EEEKKK! I love DISNEY WORLD!! its the most magical place on earth!
and my birthday is coming up (EEEEKKK!) i'm going to be 29! WOWZA, feeling kinda old! and Christmas and New Years! YAH! and thanksgiving, but I don't like Thanksgiving food, so I've never considered that an awesome holiday, sorry pilgrim lovers!

OHHHHH man, its been so long since i've updated you guys!!! sorry!
Life has been crazy busy; and crazy with the good and the bad!
Let's see, the big news is that Wheelchairs Plus (the job I work at) was bought out by a company called Nu Motion, so we are in transition. and its been quite stressful and very chaotic, but I think once we get over the hump, it will be a good thing. We just got trained on the new computer system, and I am now doing service stuff, which is just weird, but its something new to learn so thats good!
Also changes at church. Crossroads stopped doing Saturday night services, which stink. But then we found out that they are transitioning (so sick of change right now!) to small group home church, which means having small groups meet whenever they want too, so I am worried about losing the church structure, I LOVE worship and a message and communion, so I started church hunting and found a good one called the Waters in Sartell, I have been going every other Saturday and going to Crossroads on Sunday because it sounds like the home church thing won't happen for awhile, and I have really grown to love Crossroads and the people there, so I am not sure what to do! I could sure use some prayers!!
Now the good stuff
I've been hanging out with good friends lately. I love my small group from Crossroads Lori, Brenda aka Byork, and Stephanie. Its been so fun getting together with them and just sharing prayer requests with each other.
Been hanging out with Sara too, we've started to go to Extreme Pita on friday nights, which is SOOOOO yummy! We call it EP friday's, we didn't go last friday though because its kinda expensive, but so good for you!!!
And weight watchers is going great, I'm 1.5 pounds away from losing 60 pounds since joining in January!! that is just crazy to me! i feel so much better about myself, and so good that I am able to maintain this. I am honestly shocked when I look in the mirror. I've been cleaning out my closest and trying to sell all my stuff that is too big, just in case I do gain the weight back, then It will be expensive to have to buy bigger clothes!! smart right!
Well this has been a pretty long update, excited that fall is upon is which means all the fun holidays and my birthday are coming up! although I probably won't like birthdays once I hit 30!!!! Eeeekkk!!!! I had always hoped to be married by 30, but we will see what happens, I am working on myself right now, so that perfect guy is just going to have to be patient!!

wow; where has the time gone?
First of all, I am SOOOOOOOOO sorry! i cannot believe how I keep saying that I will update you guys and then I don't! life has been crazy!! both good and bad! lots of fun things coming up!!!
I could use some prayers though, its been a pretty stressful week!! ugh to say the least! prayers would be appreciated!
oh and weight loss update, I am 0.4 away from losing 50 POUNDS! can you believe it?!?!?! I should put some pics on here, but you know me, as soon as I say I will do something, I don't! haha! but i am so excited! and i just ordered pizza hut pizza and ate within my means, which was AWESOME!!!!!!

OH MY GOSH!!
its been WAY too long! its almost been a month! I'm sowy! I've just been CRAZY busy! (but in a good way!)
but i will defintely post more soon!! Its almost the 4th of July! I'm looking forward to relaxing at my parents pool for the day! YAH! but sad that I have to work on Friday the 5th, but that's okay!

i feel so rested and my batteries are recharged!
This weekend was AMAZING!!! i went home to chill out at my parents house while they were out of town, and it was so nice!! LOVED it!!
and Saturday night I went to church and I am just so glad that I am getting to know more women that I go to church with. Its such a great thing, makes me wonder why I was so concerned before; ya know?
I just finished one bible study and now getting ready for the next one, which is going to be led by a friend of mine, which I am so excited about!!! YAH!!!
and I've lost 37 pounds so far! HOORAY!!! weight watchers is SOOOO amazing!!!
so things are good!!! so happy!!!

WOW! sorry its been so long!
I have been SOOOOOOO uber busy, its not even funny! This weekend is going to be so relaxing!
LAST WEEKEND the retreat was so amazing. I cannot believe I have been so not wanting to go, and then I finally go and its AMAZING!! so wonderful, more details soon! (do you notice that I say this alot?) haha! woops!
and then i am going up to our Grand Rapids office for work next month, for a couple days, which should be fun, and interesting to see how they do things up there. so busy, busy, busy!
and still loosing weight too! I am down almost 30 pounds! HOORAY!!!
and my week usually consists of:
Monday=DWTS
Tuesday=bible study, which is amazing, but sad that its over next week! :( our teacher Julie is so great, she makes the bible so understandable!
Wednesday=Mall walk with Sara, hoping we can get outside next week!! (fingers crossed)
Thursdays= Weigh-in, and I usually go mall walk before because I get so nervous!! :) and then Kevy usually comes over because he has a church thing on thursday nights and then class on friday morning, so that's been fun!
Friday=RELAX! and clean at work!!
So crazy, and I am thinking about taking a medical terminology class, so we shall see!!! pics soon of my weight loss! but i better get some sleep, i am SOOOOOO tired!

Things have been crazy lately!!!
Busy, busy, busy! I don't even remember if I've told you guys about the water damage at my place, it was just in my bedroom, and nothing got damaged, but basically i moved back home to my parents house for a few days, and ever since then I've been so off schedule! UGH!!
and this was two weeks ago, and I am still in the process of getting things organized. I am seriously spring cleaning like crazy!
so the twins game with Sara was SOOOOO fun, but SOOOO cold! unfortunately we lost, but it was fun!! and we had really good seats too!!
Then on Sunday Lisa and I went to the cities, in this crappy weather, which was AMAZING!! we got the the cities and back in one piece, but got lost in the skyway trying to find the Target Center! haha!
CHRIS TOMLIN was uber AMAZING!!! i just love his voice, he sang almost all of my favorites, but he has a new cd that is amazing!
He is such a cutie, he was dancing around, and Kari Jobe who opened the concert was great, and she and Chris even sang a duet together! and then Louie Giglio spoke and he was awesome!
it was just a great night, it really brought me to tears! it was so amazing to just fill the Target Center up with worship, I will always remember that, especially if I go back there for an event!!
after the concert we took a cab back to our hotel, since its super close, and the skyways were closed, and it was such a super nice hotel! the pillows were amazing! it was a lot of fun to just hang out with Lisa!
and then on Monday there was a couple of bombs that exploded during the Boston marathon, I just don't understand what is wrong with this world! ugh! it always feels like something is going on, its just so sad. They did catch the guy who did this, and the other one died. but very scary stuff!
and now this last week was just trying to catch up on everything i missed last weekend. I have this crazy obsession with following everything on twitter and facebook, and I'm still trying to catch up! haha!
but finally i feel like I am catching up, and today was so relaxing! i worked out like crazy (which is weird that its becoming so addicting to work out) and I finally lost 25 pounds! HOORAY!! and since i am spring cleaning, I've been trying on clothes to see what will fit and what is too big, which is so cool!!
so its just been a busy week, and next weekend is going to be busy as I am going to the womens retreat with my church, and I am so excited about that! Then I am hoping may is slow, since I want to start looking for a new apartment. Well thats about it for now, more later! Let's have a great week!! :)

What a week, phew!! but ended with a relaxing weekend. Feel recharged and ready to go for next week!!
My weeks have started to become really busy, which is fine with me, but I have a routine.
Monday is DWTS (Go Aly!) Dorothy Hamill withdrew the first week, which was so sad.
Tuesday is bible study. I am learning so much and really love it!
Wednesday I mall walk with Sara, I CANNOT wait to get outside and walk!
Thursday Weight watchers meeting. I have lost 23.8 pounds! YAH! I am .2 away from losing 10%!! HOORAY! SO excited, i just feel so good about myself. I make sure i workout every day, even if its only for a little bit, and its really becoming second nature, which is great too!!
Friday RELAX!!! and i usually clean at work, so I usually count that as my workout for the day!
and this weekend i totally relaxed, and WORKED OUT LIKE CRAZY! which felt so good!!! I am starting to feel so good about myself, the tracking really helps along with the working out!!!
Well thats been my week in a nutshell, and next weekend is going to be CRAZY busy, but fabulous!
I am going to the twins game with Sara on Saturday (which by the way, they have been playing awesome; they are 4-2 so far!!) and then on Sunday Lisa and I are going to the Chris Tomlin concert and staying overnight in a hotel, since we both took Monday off!! So exciting!!! :)
Well everyone, lets have a good week! And let's stop complaining, because unless we do something to change our situations, we have no right to complain! am i right? I said AM I RIGHT?! Let's go guys!!! positive vibes for a fabulous week!!!

FABULOUS Easter weekend!!
This weekend was so great. I slept in Saturday, which is ALWAYS amazing!! and then I went home to celebrate Easter with the family, which is always fun.
Sister and I went for a walk, and then we played cards as a family, although we lost the boys along the way because of March Madness, but that is to be expected!!
Church last night was FABULOUS!! it gave me chills, usually I am so overcome by emotion, but this time it was like I was so happy to be worshiping my Savior. It was like the best of the best from each worship group, so awesome!
and then saturday and today have just been a chill day. Very relaxing, but yet I am getting used to working out and eating well. I have lost 22 pounds since starting Weight Watchers and it is such a great feeling! YAH!!!
Alright peeps, we had a great weekend, so let's have a great week. No complaining, let's work hard, but have fun!! GOOOOO team!!! :)

amazeballs weekend last weekend!!
so BUSY, but so great!!
On Friday I was supposed to go to my friend Mary's house so we could play some card games, but I didn't make it because of the bad weather. I AM SO SICK OF WINTER!! i mean come on, its march!! UGH!!!
so friday night was a chill night, and then I got up early (for me early) on saturday to go home and hang out with the family, since Jackie was in town, but my car wouldn't start. UGH! so dad came and jumped my car, which is a good thing to know anyway, and then we proceded to go home. It was funny because he drove my sisters car to me, and changed her radio station to his WCCO talk radio, and then he drove my car home, and I thought he would change it to talk radio, but he put in my sound of music CD, which was so cute!! love that we both love the sound of music!!
and hanging out with the family was so much fun!! good times, but we are defitntely old, because we ate lunch and then took naps! haha!!!
and when i woke up, kevin took me for a snowmobile ride, which was so scary!!! EEEKKKK!!! but a lot of fun!!! but very SCAWY!!!!!
after that the rest of the weekend was very chill, which was needed. I worked out, cleaned (my bathroom needed some major cleaning TLC) and then today was the premiere of DWTS, which i was so excited about! especially because I LOVE Aly Raisman captain of the fab five gymnastics team from last summer, and Dorothy Hamill was amazing as well!!!

Chicago Stars on Ice
It was so much fun last weekend!!! Dad and I left on Friday morning, and got to our hotel in the afternoon, and the show was that night, so we hung out; and I went to the hotels gym and worked out for a bit.
The show was AMAZING! the highlights were Katia Gordeeva (She's one of my all time favorites!), Kurt Browning's Singin in the Rain number, and seeing Dorothy Hamill; as she is a LEGEND!! such a great show!
Katia and Ilia's daughter sat right in front of us, and she is so cute and looks so much like her dad.
After the show, we went back to the hotel and left the following morning! We stopped in to see Jackie on our way through the cities. It was a short, but very sweet trip!!!
Can't wait for next year!! :)

busy weekend!!!
I went to Chicago this weekend for Stars on Ice, but more about that next time!! Last weekend was CRAZY busy!!!
Let's see on Saturday I went to a work expo, which was fun, got my haircut (which is 5 inches shorter, eeekkkk!!), did some shopping and bought Breaking Dawn part 2!! love Twilight!!
and then Sunday I went to Janet Eckman's wake and saw her grandaughter Erin, who is a close childhood friend of mine, so that was great! Its just nice to go back to my hometown church and check up and see how everyone is doing!! There were a ton of people for Janet's wake, she was such a wonderful woman!! She actually welcomed my dad back to the church with opened arms, which I think is so wonderful!!!! If not for her welcoming him back, he might not have stayed and he actually met my mom at church, since her sister's husband was the pastor at the time, and she was in town visiting my aunt and uncle, and met Tom Sommers!! so sweet!!
Well, its Daylight savings time (spring time, yuck!) not that I don't likw spring, I just hate loosing an extra hour of sleep, so I should go! Chicago updates soon!!!

Life and Death: Janet Eckman and Joe Mauer's twins!
Unfortunately I found out yesterday about the death of a wonderful woman; she was a very close family friend, and very special to me because she was the one that got my dad to go back to church, which i am so grateful for because that is where he met my mom!!! She was so nice and beautiful. someone said it perfectly on facebook, that God was gaining an angel!
now the life news; joe mauer's wife is expecting, and get this its TWINS!!!AHHHH!!! craziness!!! i am trying to be happy for him, but it still makes me sad.
anyway, so that's my news this week!! its been a great week otherwise; I am going to an expo for work saturday (and getting paid for it!) and i lost another 1.5 pounds and am now down to 15 since i started! YAH!!! so excited!!!
well, better get ready for bed, brother will probably be here soon, so that's always fun!!! nighty night, and its almost the weekend, and my parents are going to be home from florida soon!!! YAH!!!! i miss them! :)

FABULOUS weekend, scrapbooking and movie musicals!!
I had another crazy week, but good week!!!
and this weekend was FABULOUS!!! lisa and i got together to scrapbook and we had so much fun. and practically watched every single movie in the world!!

So much fun to just hang out and relax! and then this morning, since we scrapbooked in Kimball, so I went to a different church this morning, because I wasn't able to go last night, so that was good! and then i went ice skating this afternoon, and it is SOOOOO hard! the skaters make it look so darn easy! I lasted a bit longer than last time though, so that's good!
and I lost a total of 1.5 pounds this week, and so far have lost 13!! YAH!!!

this past week was CRAZY, but in a good way!
I had stuff going on each night of the week:
Monday: went out with a bunch of co-workers for supper, SUPER fun!
Tuesday: I had bible study, but didn't feel well! :(
Wed: Mall walked with Sara
Thursday: Weight Watchers meeting (I LOST 1 pound and have lost a total of 12!!) YAH!!
Friday: DID NOTHING!!!
AMAZING! i feel so blessed, and so happy! I mean sure everyone has good days and bad days, but it sure helps when things are good!!
I even got an old elliptical machine from one of my moms friends, so thats been great! No excuses!!
Today I did nothing, and then tomorrow I am planning on going home, and since my parents are on vacay, I really wanna take a bubble bath! I don't have a bath tub, so this will be nice!!!

fabulous weekend!!
This weekend was so great, after a long week, it was very relaxing, and it was a snowy day today, so I just stayed inside and did nothing, but i did clean later!!
I never posted my latest weigh in results: I LOST 2.5 pounds! I'm down 11.5 pounds in a month, and I feel so GREAT!!! YAH!!!
now praying for a good week this week, and excited for a couple weekends to scrapbook with Lisa! YAH!!!

I'm just so darn HAPPY!
and its a really great feeling!!!
Work is going good, this whole weight watchers thing is going good, I've been working out consistenly, life is very, very good!! i should remember this when i hit a weight lose plateau. I've lost 8.6 pounds so far!! YAH!!! go me!!! it feels good to work on myself!!!
and I started a new bible study last week, called Bible 101, and thats going great! lots of great things are ahead for me!!
Would like to continue to request prayers through this life style change! Thanks! :)

Twinsfest 2013
WAS FABULOUS!!!!
Had so much fun Friday night with Sara and then on Sunday with both Sara and Lisa, it was so fun for my two closest friends to finally meet!!!
Friday was fun, Sara and I just walked around and checked out everything going on, I am so going to miss my dome sweet home! :(
and we also got Drew Butera's autograph, he is so cute!!
and then Saturday i lounged around, which was VERY needed!! and then on Sunday my alarm clock went off at 5:30 AM!!!! people that is AM!!!! ahhhh!!!! i wanted to shut it off, but i had to get ready, our goal was to get Justin Morneau's autograph, so off we went! it was nice to see the sun rise too on the way to the dome!
after getting there, we got in line and practically ran to Morneau's autograph line!! and we got in! YAH!! i actually talked to him too, i was like "I hope you stay with the Twins" since his contract is up at the end of the year, and he was like "I would like that!" I can't believe I talked to him!! ahh! i get so tongue tied around my heros, notice my heros are twins players (and figure skaters) not hollywood celebrities!
after that we hung around the photo booth to see Drew and JOE!!! YAH!!! so happy to see him, it was so cute seeing him take pictures with little babies, like a parent would just hand off there baby, how cool to think years later how Joe Mauer held you as a baby! haha!!!
after that we followed Joe to the interview station, and the guys over there asked about his marriage, so sad.
but then they announced that Joe Mauer's colored wristband was the color we got, YAH!!! they had this stupid wristband thing where you pick a color, and they draw it randomly, and they drew ours, so Sara and I ran (for real) and got in line and we got Joe's autograph too! he is so darn cute! i took a picture of him right in front of his face and i forgot to shut the flash off, i felt so bad! I was like "I'm so sorry!" and he was like "no problem" and smiled his beautiful smile!! i love him so much!!!
after that we had lunch, walked around and took off for home. it was sleeting/snowing/raining/everything so we took off earlier, but it was such a fun weekend and it was just great that Lisa and Sara met and got along! YAH!!

I LOST SEVEN POUNDS!!!
and its only week one!! I AM SO EXCITED!!! eekkk!! can you tell?? Weight Watchers works, and its only the first week!!! YAH!! so happy!!!
its going pretty well, can you tell? you can still eat the foods you love, just not as much as I would!!! and you have to track everything!! I AM ON CLOUD NINE RIGHT NOW!!!!
keep praying, that i still with it though! I was so shocked by that number though!!! HOORAY! :)

wow, what a weekend! It felt like it went SOOOOO fast, of course; they all do though!

It started out with meeting Sara for supper, we went to Red Lobster for my "last supper" before I joined weight watchers. I'll get to that in a second, but it was funny beforehand, because Sara called me and was like "I need to go to target, can we meet up after that?" and i was like "I'm at Target right now!" haha! so random! and then we ran into a woman who used to be Sara's neighbor and she was the mom of my brothers friend back in elementary school, so we caught up with her, and then it was RED LOBSTER time, which was SOOOOO good! i love the cheddar biscuits, but I don't like the bottoms, sara always makes fun of me for that, which I'm not sure why, since she gets the bottoms!! :)
after Red Lobster we went back to Sara's to celebrate CHRISTMAS! YAH! i gots me lots of cool stuff from Sara, and then after that we watched Elf, which is HILARIOUS! we were supposed to watch Rudolph too, but we were both so tired, especially since Sara fell asleep in the middle of the movie. If she comments, I am sure she will right that her eyes hurt!! :)
then it was bed time, because we had to be up EARLY (okay, what i consider early!) for joining weight watchers. I was pretty nervous, but it was a very good day! Fun getting to know the leaders and meeting people who have had success off of the program. I mean I know Sara has had TONS of success, but it was nice to meet strangers that have success!
I was really nervous about the whole "counting points" thing, but so far its going well!! i even got this calculator gadget type thing, to help me calculate points at the grocery store, so that was fun! sara and her mom took me grocery shopping afterwards and I am actually trying new things, LIKE TURKEY BURGERS!! i know right!!!
after our weight watchers day, we were there for like 4 hours, I went to church and it was so good to worship Jesus. I just keep praying that I am able to take this journey, with him too!!!
and today went good. I had a full day to figure out my points and the whole program, so that was good. And i even went ice skating. Okay, I tried ice skating. IT WAS FREEZING and i forgot how hard skating is. They make it look so easy!!! And Kristi Yamaguchi, I ain't! haha!

Paula
I talked to my old high school friend Paula on the phone the other night for almost an hour, it was so nice to catch up with her. I just hate that we've missed so much time over a stupid and petty fight. ugh!! she is getting married soon, ahhhh!! craziness!
so many fun memories with her. her mom is the one that just got diagnosed with breast cancer, and I was reaching out to her because of that, i know how it is with a sick parent, so it will just be nice that if one good thing comes out of her mom having cancer, is that we are reunited!
i've really missed her, so it was good! and we are getting together in a couple weeks! YAH! can't wait to see "Pete!" although she's getting married so she won't be Pete for too much longer. last name=peterson! just an fyi!!! :)

Sad news, cancer sucks!
My best friend from high school told me today that her mom has breast cancer, and her mom's birthday is today. SO SAD! i hate cancer, and bad health. I'm gonna talk to her tomorrow, and we haven't spoken in a few years, so I'm especially nervous because I want to say the right thing. Please be in prayer for her, her family, and for me as well. That I don't blow this opportunity to be a good friend, just because of a petty fight that happened awhile back. UGH! I am so disgusted with myself sometimes.

Sommers Family Christmas 2012
It started out with going home on the day before Christmas Eve, which was so fun! We decided to go light looking, like we normally do, and caroling at the Edmonson's house, family friends of ours. This tradition started a long time ago when a house in clearwater, turns out the guys granddaughter is my roomate now, but anway, we always went to check out his crazy Christmas lights, then when we found out the Edmonson's lived near there, we started going to there house to carol, and then that family stopped doing the lights, but now a different family does a light/music show, which is so awesome! after that we changed things up a bit, and got pizza, and boy did we get PIZZA!!!! and then it was basically relax the rest of the way! We slept in Christmas Eve day, and then just hung out, eating of course, and we watched some movies, we only watched a part out of Home Alone, i LOVE that movie!
Then it was Christmas Eve Service time, which was so good!! Love singing with my family and celebrating the birth of Jesus with my home church, its always fun to go back. Granted I don't live that far away, but i love my church in st. cloud too!!!
It was fun to catch up with the Magnuson family, family friends of ours. There kids are our age, so we grew up with them, and we took our annual Magnuson/Sommers kid picture, but Bret and his wife and there new baby girl didn't make it, which was so sad. After the service we went home, and the Magnuson's wanted to see my parents new kitchen, so it was fun to just hang out with them.
Then it was presents time! So much fun! I wanted to read the Christmas story this year, and so mom and Kev read a bit, but then mom went too far, so I just read some of the next chapter! and after reading the story its time for PRESENTS! YAH!!!
i got lots of fun stuff, a really cute brown/pink bible from my brother, lots of awesome things from my parents, and a Sound of Music book that the 7 Von Trapp actors wrote, along with Edelweiss lip stick, which is pretty, and Austrian coin earrings from Jackie!! so awesome! and dad loved my present, I found a super cute mickey album and put pictures of our trip from last year in the album! YAH, best kid award = me! but it was just nice and relaxing. after that, we all dispersed, since kev got a bunch of movies, and Jackie, dad, and I got books to read!
We then got up a bit early, because Santa does still come to the Sommers household, even though the youngest is 25, and he was so good to us!! as usual! although his handwriting looks very similar to my moms! haha!
after that we watched the Disney Christmas parade, and dad wants to start planning a trip next year! YAH! I think just me and him, and then it was relax time, and then i went home later in the afternoon. its always so hard for me after the holidays. I still have my Christmas stuff up, not sure when it will come down! i do feel badly for people going through hard times during the holidays, especially that shooting with the kids in Connecticut the week before Christmas, ugh! But i had a Merry Christmas, and i hope that you all did too!

Happy New Years
Bringing in the new year with Sara this year was so much fun! It started out with meeting her mom and her mom's friends at Granite City, which was okay.
Then Sara and I went to see the Christmas lights that my family goes to see every year, but I just felt like dad never gave us a chance to see alot of the display, so Sara said we should go, so we did. It was AWESOME! a lot less crowded on New Years Eve. They even used one of the songs from a lights show at Disney, which my dad would've loved!!! clearwaterlights.org.
we proceeded to head to Sara's house, since I am house hunting, so we switched it up this year, and then the announcer voice, which is super creepy and more halloweeney than Christmas said "Stay tuned for a photo op", so of course, we turned around and went back. The people around us probably thought we were crazy!! haha!
after that we drove around some more, since there are a lot of pretty lights in Sara's neighborhood, then we went back to Sara's, and her brother just moved out so she redid his old room and now has the SARA CAVE, which is super cool!! its our fun little hang out, and she got it done just in time for New Years.
After that Sara's mom and her friends stopped by because we had told them about an old game called Dream Phone, any girl who grew up in the 90's will now about this awesome game. "your right I really like you!" haha! so fun, so we played that.
Then it was time to ring in 2013, so we did, of course with apple juice and fake wine aka grape juice, and then after watching the ball drop and sadly no Dick Clark (he died in 2012) we watched a movie called New Years Eve, which was suprisingly really good.
Then it was BED TIME!!!! it was like 3 am by the time we went to bed! after being woken up early by Sara and her mom, which was great since Sara made waffles, we proceeded to be lazy all day and watch old shows like Saved by the Bell and Boy Meets World, while Sara organized her DVD library, I am not kidding, we counted her main DVD's and she has well over 200!!!! CRAZINESS, but really fun!
I then came home to do laundry and continue being lazy, but on 1-12-13, man I gotta get used to writing 2013, I am joining weight watchers. I hate giving up control, but I know I need to do this! so I could use some prayers and well wishes on this new adventure.
Let's make 2013 FABULOUS!! PS I cannot believe it will be 10 years since I graduated from high school this summer!! CRAZY!!!
Then Sara and I went to see the Christmas lights that my family goes to see every year, but I just felt like dad never gave us a chance to see alot of the display, so Sara said we should go, so we did. It was AWESOME! a lot less crowded on New Years Eve. They even used one of the songs from a lights show at Disney, which my dad would've loved!!! clearwaterlights.org.
we proceeded to head to Sara's house, since I am house hunting, so we switched it up this year, and then the announcer voice, which is super creepy and more halloweeney than Christmas said "Stay tuned for a photo op", so of course, we turned around and went back. The people around us probably thought we were crazy!! haha!
after that we drove around some more, since there are a lot of pretty lights in Sara's neighborhood, then we went back to Sara's, and her brother just moved out so she redid his old room and now has the SARA CAVE, which is super cool!! its our fun little hang out, and she got it done just in time for New Years.
After that Sara's mom and her friends stopped by because we had told them about an old game called Dream Phone, any girl who grew up in the 90's will now about this awesome game. "your right I really like you!" haha! so fun, so we played that.
Then it was time to ring in 2013, so we did, of course with apple juice and fake wine aka grape juice, and then after watching the ball drop and sadly no Dick Clark (he died in 2012) we watched a movie called New Years Eve, which was suprisingly really good.
Then it was BED TIME!!!! it was like 3 am by the time we went to bed! after being woken up early by Sara and her mom, which was great since Sara made waffles, we proceeded to be lazy all day and watch old shows like Saved by the Bell and Boy Meets World, while Sara organized her DVD library, I am not kidding, we counted her main DVD's and she has well over 200!!!! CRAZINESS, but really fun!
I then came home to do laundry and continue being lazy, but on 1-12-13, man I gotta get used to writing 2013, I am joining weight watchers. I hate giving up control, but I know I need to do this! so I could use some prayers and well wishes on this new adventure.
