Merry Belated Christmas!!

Christmas 2009 was a good one! It was quite different because of mom having her knee surgery, but really fun!

it started with Jackie and I (attempting) to take mom to physical therapy on the 23rd, and boy was that an adventure, everything was fine until we attempted to get home, and then she couldn't get back in, so that was a big, but funny ordeal!

And because of the surgery we didn't go Caroling, so that was sad, but we did call the people we usually carol too, and sang over the fun! haha!

the next day was Christmas Eve day and dad went and got a bunch of pizzas, and by this I mean a TON! and a childhood friend Shawn was over, so we ate and played Disney trivia, which was really fun! Sam, Kevin's girlfriend, was around, so that was nice! she is so great!

then we got ready and went to Christmas Eve services even though we got this big storm, almost a blizzard, and mom stayed home, but the service was good, and we even took pictures of the fam with a chair replacing mom and her wheelchair, since she got one from dad's work and had fun wheeling around! haha! :)

after church we came back home and opened gifts, I got lots of great stuff. the best being Eldeweiss seeds from Jackie, and a Joe Mauer jersey from Kevin, and twins PJ's from mom and dad, man my whole wardrobe is going to be all twins stuff! haha!

after that it was time for duh duh duhhhhh, the Sommers game, this year Disney Monopoly with real money, woot woot! we won big, but of course right after it, Jackie informed me of the amount I owed for mom and dad's gifts, ouch! haha! oh well, it was really fun!

Then we just relaxed and hung out, and it was nice since we canceled the Sommers family Christmas, so we opened presents on Christmas morning, which I got more Santa stuff, and my skating tickets, and then we gave dad a secretariat beanie baby, which was so cute, and a black headband, which he loved! so it was fun!

after that we just hung out and played games! it was very nice that we didn't have to get things cleaned up and ready for the game, so it was a different Christmas, but still fun!

before Jackie left, there was a Jonas Brothers special, so that made her happy! and she did like the Jonas Brothers stuff that I gave her, so yah!

before I left I did dishes for mom, which she enjoyed too! haha! :)

Opps, I realize Its been awhile!

Well I am still unemployed, so not a lot of news to write! but Christmas is soon! HOORAY! i was just at my friend Jill's house with Lisa, old CM co-workers and we had our Christmas together. We scrapbooked and exchanged gifts. I got a super COMFY pillow from Jill since she has some many comfy pillows!!

we also watched Rudolph, which was fun too!!!

then I went to church on Saturday night and attempted to go to the mall to get some more pictures to scrapbook but it was way too busy, so then I went back to jill's and her toliet overflowed and water got everywhere, which was funny and CRAZY!!! we decided to get out of the apartment after her landlord stopped by and then came back and scrapbooked! It was a crazy day, but really fun! I got home yesterday afternoon after not sleeping to well, and ended up sleeping all night, whoops!

but now i am getting ready to head home, we are supposed to get a lot of snow, so hoping to get home before the storm comes! mom is having knee surgery tomorrow, so I will be taking care of her, and since she is having surgery we cancelled our family christmas, so it will defintely be quiet, but fun! I will post details after Christmas is over!

Happy Belated Thanksgiving!!!

so here is what i've done over Thanksgiving weekend. I went home on Wednesday afternoon, to beat the traffic, and was bored since no one was around. Finally mom got home, and then Jackie and soon Kevy and Sam came over and we all hung out and celebrated my birthday with brownies and watching the Sound of Music, it was really fun!

Then on Thanksgiving we ate lunch, which was gross since I don't like that kinda food, and then we waited for Sam and Kev to come over since they went to her house for lunch, and we took naps, played card games, which was so much fun, and then we watched the first ever Star Wars, so episode 4, which always confuses dad! hahahaha!!

after that i decided to skip the Black Friday morning shopping, and instead stayed home and hung out with the fam more. Jackie and I woke up to mom making cinnamon rolls, yummy! and then i left for home and met up with Sara, and we did some shopping, which wasn't too bad, and then we both were SUPER tired so we went to bed super EARLY!!!!

then this morning we got up, went shopping and i started to get some gifts for people, YAH! and then we went to church which was really good and about the Advent season, which I had never heard about it, and its basically the 4 weeks till Christmas, and we talked about not getting all wrapped (get it!) in the gifts! but it was AMAZING worship as always.

Then we came back to my house and made my specialty taco dip and have been playing Wii games and putting up Christmas decorations. Everything looks so cool! YAH!!!!!!! I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

so anyways...... having a great weekend, and I found out some great news from my brother, but I better not say, although no one reads this blog, but that's okay!

also November 24th is officially declared Joe Mauer day, so i can't wait to celebrate that next year!

oh and also i have been playing phone tag with someone at Office team which is a temp agency, how cool is that! YAH!!!! hopefully i hear something on monday!

had dinner with sara, and had fun! family birthday party on wednesday and thanksgiving on thursday!! YAH!

Kristi Yamaguchi and Friends 2009

So here's my review of the show. I will post details on our whole trip, since we had so much fun! ENJOY!

First of all I was SOOOOO excited to see Kristi’s show. She doesn’t skate a lot anymore, so it’s always fun to watch my favorite skater and to have one of my favorite bands singing was an added bonus. My dad and I planned a trip to see Kristi along with some sightseeing, as we did last year.

I bought tickets as soon as they went on sale, and got ice on seats, which were amazing. I have never sat on ice and we’ve been trying to get those seats for Stars on Ice forever, so it was great!

We flew into Phoenix on the Friday morning of the show, and actually arrived in plenty of time at the arena. We got there about 5:30, since we didn’t have specific directions, but we knew where to go.

We then went into the lobby at about 6:00 and they had a HUGE poster with Kristi and the Backstreet Boys, and they had a video playing of all the skaters in Halloween costumes with the song Monster Mash playing, and it was funny because my dad thought Scott Hamilton was skating, and I had to tell him it was Kurt Browning!! While waiting I remembered that no flash, and I just got a new camera, so I called my friend trying to figure out how to get my flash off, but I couldn’t, so I just took pictures of the skaters while bowing, and the when near the BSB, I figured they were used to flashes!!! J

They then let us into the arena, and we walked around for a bit, I was hoping for some kind of Kristi souvenirs, but I knew there wouldn’t be anything since it was a Disson show, and then we went to our seats and they were kind of in the corner opposite the stage, and they were AMAZING, but then a bunch of girls came down that were all dressed in BSB stuff, so that got me worried. But behind us were some ladies wearing sweaters with pictures of Kristi, so it was nice to know there were some skating fans!

The show started a bit late, but I think because there were hardly anyone there, it was ridiculous. Even down center ice there was no one sitting there, so we eventually moved down at intermission so we were further from the rude BSB fans! We found out they sold about 3,000 seats, but it sure looked a lot less than that. I think there needs to be a way to advertise the show as a SKATING show with a musician. I bet the skaters get really annoyed about it.

Anyway the show started with the Backstreet Boys singing Everybody. I LOVE that song too! The ladies were wearing black dresses with cool red leggings. The girls wore super cute black and red dangly earrings and matching black and red bracelets. The girls came out first and strutted their stuff and then the boys joined them. It was a fun opening! It wasn’t anything spectacular, but it was just fun. Kristi also did a pairs lift with all the guys too, and they flipped her over! It seemed like the BSB were into the skating, especially Brian!

Next was Yuka and she skated to another one of my favorites I Want it That Way. She wore her 2004 SOI Sunscreen dress, and she did a PERFECT double axel and just had fun with the number!

Jumpin Joe was next, and he skated to a number that was not characteristic of him, it was a slower number, and he had a hard fall on a triple toe. I don’t really like Josef’s normal style, so this was nice to see him doing something else. He also did a delayed axel, which my dad didn’t know that, he just said that he singled it, so I explained that to him, that it was on purpose!! I knew he was going to do his laid out back flip and that the crowd would go crazy, and they did! J

Sined and John Kerr were next, and I was hoping they would do there Johnny Cash number, since my dad loves Johnny Cash, and they did. They had a problem at the beginning when it seemed like there blades got stuck together, but they continued on. It was a lot of fun, and I discovered that I really like John!! It was very energetic and FAST! The audience both BSB fans and skating fans loved it! I really liked the ending where he’s pretending to drive.

Kurt was next. I love him! His program was I’m Yours, and he was your typical goofy and funny Kurt! It was great to see him since I haven’t since his last US SOI show. A lot of the BSB girls really liked his shirts, so I thought that was nice that they were getting into the skating.

Katia was NEXT!! YAH! I was so excited that she was a part of Kristi’s show this year. She wore a beautiful light purple dress with a jeweled collar, which reminded me of Yuka’s Misty dress from 2004 SOI. I really wish they had a program list because I knew the singer sounded like Beyonce, but I wasn’t sure. She was SOOO wonderful, and my dad loves her too! He remembers us shaking hands with her and Ilia after SOI in 2000! She did a double toe, a double axel and a double lutz, which she singled, but that meant we got to see her redo it later! Her footwork is always amazing, and she is just so fast! She also had beautiful spins and did her slide spiral too! I love that move. So graceful!

Steven was next, which I was excited about because he usually does fun and vibrant programs, but he did a slow program. He made a few mistakes, so I knew there would be retakes from him later.

Then Elena and Andrei were next and I knew they were going to get the crowd with their tricks, and they sure DID!!! They did the head banger, and my dad was yelling at them to be careful and that he would talk to her later because it was so scary to watch them, which I thought was funny! I also loved the song, Total Eclipse of the Heart. They did two versions, the first one I loved, the second I didn’t know, but it was good. They do amazing lifts and tricks!

Then it was Michael’s turn and the BSB came back out. I love Michael, so I was excited, and he was having a great skate until he stopped, which I figured was a skate issue, and it was. I’ve seen this happen on SOI, and was glad that he was okay to keep skating his next program! The BSB just kept going, so at least the audience got just BSB, and it was nice that I could focus on them too, since I love them, but skating more. Michael did do retakes of the last half of the program.

THEN KRISTI!!! YAH!! I love her! (Can you tell?) I knew from interviews that she was skating to BSB newest song, which I love, so I was excited and knew that I would record her because you know how they cut the skater out during the program. Sorry for the annoying noises I make, and my singing along! J You can hear my dad saying it looks like she took her advil, because on her twitter account before we left, I saw that she wrote she was having problems with her Achilles, so I was worried, but she was WONDERFUL!! Her DWTS time has served her well; she just looked like she had a ton of fun. She fell out of her double flip, but I was okay with that, since it would mean we would get to see her again in the replays! The lyrics are about a girl who shoots someone, so Kristi did a lot of gun pointing with her fingers, which I think the BSB thought was cute! She also did different spins, instead of just a camel spin, so that was nice too! She also did a super nice double toe; I know she doesn’t skate a lot anymore, so I didn’t care about her jumping content. And she did a split jump literally right in front of us, if you watch the telecast (more on that later!) look for me when she does a split jump. I am wearing a brown jacket, and my dad is wearing a bright red jacket. And she did her beautiful spiral and a hydroblading move. She also had a footwork sequence too! She had tons of content in her program; I could talk about it forever. I knew she only did one program in last year’s show, so I was hoping for another one, but it wasn’t to be, but she was AMAZING! For not skating all the time, she was great! Love her! Towards the end she went up to the stage and hung out with the guys, and I could tell Brian loved it!! She is just so cute! J

Okay I’m done Kristi gushing, but after that there was a 20 minute intermission, which a concession guy went around trying to sell cookies and water, which I thought was hilarious, since I am a baseball fan and they sell beer and hot dogs at games! During the intermission we asked a worker if we could move away from the BSB fans, and she said that was fine, so we were DEAD center ice, right under the Clorox sign and were able to spread out, which was great, but sad since someone bought that tickets and didn’t show!

After the intermission it was Michael and Tracy’s turn and they were a cute junior team. Turns out according to Kristi’s intro that she was mentoring them, which I thought was cute since she used to be a pairs skater. BTW Kristi didn’t do any hosting from the ice, it was all taped, and the program also said Kurt was hosting, maybe it was because of her injury that she didn’t do it like last year, but she did say some closing words after the replays! Anyway back to Michael and Tracy, they skated to “Don’t Stop Believing” and they were so great. They did have a fall with their throw jump, but Leann Miller told everyone that this was there first time skating under a spotlight, and BTW I think there was something wrong with the ice. Almost everyone (which I think was everyone) had to redo some jumps. We kept seeing small pieces of confetti falling from center ice, so we knew no one was throwing it onto the ice, so I’m thinking it was just really bad ice.

Then Steven came back with the Backstreet Boys and another classic Quit playing Games with my Heart! Steven was back in his element with a song like this, and it was fun to watch. I don’t remember if he had to redo jumps from this program or not.

Then Katia again with the BSB this time to All I have to Give, which is another song I love! So I did video of Katia to this song, which is uploading at this time, so just look up joemauerlover! J
Katia wore a beautiful blue dress with black. She did a double loop, double axel (SOLID in both programs!) and a double flip. It was a nice dancy type number! She also did a split jump right in front of us; I guess we were on the split jump side!! J Then she gets on stage and dances with Brian, which he seemed to like, and then all of the sudden she gets back on the ice, and the music stops while she is in a spread eagle. She kept going, but they did retakes after this, and did the whole routine and it happened again. They chatted for a few minutes with someone, and she looked kind of like “I can’t keep skating this all night!” and the BSB seemed like they were sad that it kept happening too, which was nice. But then again we got to see the whole program again, so I liked that! I’m anxious to see what happens on tv since they never came to a conclusion on what to do. Then it was Yuka’s turn and she did an old program to Jewel’s 1000 Miles Away, and she is so soft and lyrical! She missed a triple loop, so she had retakes as well, but I love this program!

Then Josef skated, and surprisingly it was to country music. I know he’s a hard rock kinda guy, so it was kinda cool to see him do something different 25 years after winning the bronze at the Olympics. He got the crowd into this program, and did his usual backflip.

Then Sinead and John came back with their Scottish number, with the kilt, which I didn’t really like, I thought the kilt was a bit much. The music was way out there for me personally, but I still liked there number, especially when she lifted him, that got a big reaction from the crowd!

Then Michael came back with Butterfly Kisses, I LOVE that song, and it was fitting because Kristi’s intro mentioned this was Michael’s daughter Annie Mae’s favorite song and I was on a trip there with my dad, so it was special to me too. I am thinking he planned this for her show for the family part, but I was bummed when I first found out it was going to be no kids, but it was a really good show without them too! I just liked seeing the skaters with their kids. But he skated really well considering the problems with his skates!

Then it was Elena and Andrei’s turn, and they got the crowd going with their big moves again!! It was another fun program from them. They also did a lift where she is in a total split, which is amazing!

Then Kurt skated to the BSB with a song that I didn’t know. It was a slower program, and Kurt had trouble with a jump and skidded onto the side, and was so upset with himself and then the program ended, so he was still like being “oh man, I can’t believe I did that!” so he did retakes for it, which turned out funny since Leann was like “Do the ending of the program, so the audience can’t tell you made a mistake” and in typical Kurt fashion he yells, “But I did!”

FINALE time, which was Larger than Life, and I love that song too!!! J It starts with the guys, minus Kurt since he did the last number, and Sinead and then the girls came out later, and I was just waiting for them since I love Kristi and Katia, and Yuka, so they did spirals together, which was lovely. Then Kurt comes out and does his SUPER crazy, but fun and fast footwork. It was a typical finale with everyone doing their little part, and I really liked the ending pose. And they wore the beautiful sparkly dresses from the 2008 SOI opening, I like recycled costumes when it’s not a Disson show that uses the same ones over and over, so I approved! And the BSB actually stepped onto the ice for the bows, which I thought was funny. I mean I know the musicians do that, but I always feel like they are going to slip or something! J

Then it was time for retakes, and as I mentioned before there was a lot of retakes. Katia was the first one since she had to do her live BSB number again, so Leann was telling everyone, “Let’s see how fast she can go!” and the BSB did there number, but the same mistake happened with her ending before the music, so I am curious to see what happens during the telecast. Brian came out on the ice and gave her an encouraging hug!

Michael redid the part where his blade broke, and was perfect! It must be so hard for the skaters to pick up where they made the mistake, since they have to do 20 seconds before and 20 seconds after. Some with music and some without.

Kurt’s was funny, since he was hamming it up for us, and acting like he was on his marks and getting ready to run! Almost everyone did retakes and hit them right away. Katia did a retake of her Beyonce number and fixed the double lutz. Yuka fixed her triple loop in her Jewel number. Michael and Tracy fixed there throw jump.

Kristi did her double flip as a retake, and she started to early, so Leann told her to stop, then she does it and flubbed it again, so she does it again and Leann said because it’s there night and they need to fix the music, which didn’t take long at all, so Kristi just does a double toe and a spin to keep warm, and then does the double flip, no problem! J

The show was great, and I enjoyed it a lot more than last year, even though I missed the kid element. Then another confusing part happened when Leann was telling us to tune in November 1st, and then Kristi got the mic and thanked everyone and said to tune in Thanksgiving Sunday. We asked an arena worker and he said it was Thanksgiving Sunday, so confusion all around. I would say tune in this Sunday and Thanksgiving Sunday and we shall see what happens.

All in all, it was a terrific show, and I found out on Kristi’s twitter this might be her last show, boy do I hope not! My dad and I already want to go to next year’s show, especially if it’s in Phoenix since there is so much to do around there, although it’s a drive, but a fun trip! She seems to like Phoenix since she’s had it there the past three years, so we shall see what happens next year, since I know the Disson contract is through 2011, but I am hopeful it gets renewed. I think if Kristi stops doing it, Katia should do it, since she’s never had a show with her name on it.

Saturday was so much fun!

So here is what happened:

I met Sara, and we went to Target and got our pictures developed, and then we went to sara's and started to scrapbook, except sara was more organizing pictures and all that, but I did get a bunch of pages done.

Then I went to church, which was great, LOVE the worship, and the plan was to come back to Sara's and do more scrapbooking, while my sister called and said that she was heading home and that I should too, so Sara and I went to my parents and I actually discovered that my brother and his super nice girlfriend Sam were at my place, so it was fun to hang out with everyone in the hog house, of course, and chat it up!!! Good times with the fam, and then Sara and I did go back to her house and she did get some pages done! WOOT WOOT!

it was a fun and crazy day! and now I am just getting so excited for my skating trip this weekend, I will post details, pics and videos when I get back, and this year it is just me and my dad, so it should be a fun father daughter vacation, we have a lot of fun on those trips!

then when I get home, its time to hit the job search HARD! keep praying!!

The Dome is finished! That makes me so sad!

It was a rough game, but I am hopeful for next year!!!

Here are some memories i have from the dome:

I became a Twins fan because of Joe Mauer, but that was just to watch Joe, and not really baseball, but then I remember channel flipping one afternoon in the Fall of 2006, and saw the Twins win and whoever was the announcer was going crazy and then all of the players were jumping around and celebrating that they just won the division, and from that moment I was hooked. Of course I knew about the twins, and had been to some games when I was a kid, but the excitement was just so contagious, and then Joe was honored for his first batting title, and the Twins players just seem so nice, and that they just enjoy playing baseball!So after that I watched them get swept in the 2006 post season against Oakland, and I just remember my dad seeming to really like that I liked a sport he did. (I drag him to a lot of figure skating events, and know we share baseball together!)I couldn’t wait for the 2007 season, and ever since that day I have been a diehard twins fan. Although I am like everyone in agreeing the dome seating was terrible, I enjoyed the advantage we had there, and I am going to miss the guarantee of all games being played every day and on time. I am excited about Target Field, don’t get me wrong, but it will be cold during next year’s post season!! Here are some memories I have of the Twins in the dome, of some games I went to, and some just watching at home!Obviously that 2006 game, when we clinched the AL central!Joe Mauer winning 3 batting titlesJustin Morneau’s MVP award in 2006.Torii Hunter’s amazing catches in centerfieldThe MN announcer Dick Bremer, when something exciting happens, he goes crazy! (I love it!) I was watching at home with Sara, and I literally feel over and freaked out! (That was fun!) Watching game 163 with mom and dad, and crying when Orlando Cabrera hit a two run homerun to get ahead of the Tigers, but then realizing that the game was going to go into 12 innings, but then falling over when they eventually won!Nick Punto’s crazy moves in the infield. My closest seats ever behind home plate, 20 rows back with my dad. We sat by an anti Joe Mauer fan, and every time he yelled at Joe, I yelled praises to Joe! This was also my first and only time watching Johan Santana pitching live, and he had a bunch of strikeouts!Defending Joe to my PCI male co-workers!Ozzie Guillen praising the Twins, it sometimes seems he loves us better than his own team! (And for winning 2 out of 3 games against Detroit for there last series of the season) The last three years at Twinsfest, and meeting Joe Mauer. Even though when my dad told Joe I was going to marry him, I turned BRIGHT red! DOME DOGS!!!! Going to the Quest Twins Live show that was at Bdubs in Monticello and meeting my FSN guys Anthony Lapanta and Roy Smalley.The final game Farewell to the Metrodome Ceremony was so good and Kirby Puckett’s son removing the 1 from the Countdown to the Dome tally.My mom told me recently that I've been a twins fan for a long time, because it was either in '87 or '91 when the Twins won the world series and I was sick, and kept throwing up and my mom just wanted to watch the game, so she eventually let me lay down on the couch with her and watch the game! So I've been a twins fan since I was a kid! She isn't sure if it was in 1987 or 1991!Of course, these aren’t all of them, but what are some of your memories at the Dome?? Do you have any with me??

Friday Night Twins Game

I went to the Twins game with Sara on Friday night, which was SOOOOO much fun!! I had to wait for her to get off work and it was so busy, so It felt like it took forever to get there, but it didn't, and we survived, we both hate driving to the dome, and we SURVIVED!! WOOT WOOT!!! even though i had a nightmare that we would get there when the star spangle banner played, and guess what happened!! haha!!

we also got the wrong tickets, they gave me Sunday's tickets, so that kinda made me nervous, but everything worked out! our seats were good too, considering we just bought them! It was so crowded, and so loud, which was WONDERFUL! and there were home runs hit all over the place, we destroyed Kansas City!! Everyone was keeping track of the Chicago/Detroit game, so when they won and people cheered, Sara and I were both like "What's going on?" it was funny!

we also had the funniest boys sitting behind us with there Bircle Me Cert signs instead of Circle Me Bert, so that was fun!

after the game ended, and we had won, there was someone that tried to sneak onto the field, and of course he got hog piled by security, so that was funny, i'm just wondering who would do something like that!!

we did mingle around, since it was Sara's last game at the dome, and we also wanted to take our time so traffic would dwindle, which it did because sara and i looked at her duluth pictures, and then it was easy driving, and we stopped at perkins in monticello, and this is when we got drunk on laughter, it was crazy! i don't even remember what we laughed about, but we both just about died, and so that was SUPER fun! we didn't get home until super late, and then we decided to watch a replay of the game we were just at! haha!! it was so much fun! more details on my next game later!! :)

Metrodome Magic!!

WOW!!!! its been insane, but I will post details about last weekends Twins games, but the best news: THE TWINS ARE THE 2009 AL CENTRAL CHAMPS!!!! we are the champions, my friends! and even though we are playing the yankees, i really believe in this team!!

the game went to 12 innings, but ended FABULOUSLY and boy do I wish I was at that game!!!! details. pics. and video to come!

Today was actually a really good day! i've been doing really well with going to bed early, and getting up early, so thats been nice!

i went to the unemployment office this morning to meet up with others, and we talk about anything and everything. it was really good. got lots of tips on temp agencies!

i did some grocery shopping, took a nap, and was getting ready to watch the big twins game when.......


DAH DAH DAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!


it gets postponed due to rain, and this is a HUGE series against the Detroit Tigers, so we have a double header tomorrow, and I am SOOOOOOOO nervous!!! ahhhhhhh!!!!

but i am getting into dancing with the stars again, so it was fun to watch that!

Fun Family Day!

so today was our Sommers Family picture, which we have not done in awhile, like 20 years to be exact. while i didn't sleep too well last night, so i got up at 3:30 and had PLENTY of time to get ready.

then i headed home, and went to church, its always fun to go back to my home church and see everyone! And actually kevy led worship, which I was not expecting at all, so that was cool! he is a good singer!

after church we had our pictures, which were really fun and turned out great. we know the photographer since she is in town, and her and kevin were bantering back and forth which was funny, since he insisted on wearing his hat!! oh well, thats Kevy for you!

after the pictures we barbequed, probably last one for the summer, and then us girls watched the 3rd Harry Potter, which was good!!

after that jackie left, and i took a nap, which i enjoyed in my parents ENORMOUS bed, and then they woke me up because we had a guest speaker at church about ministries at the Grand Canyon, and what are we doing next month, GRAND CANYON!! it was good, it was more about telling us that it GC was created, which we all knew, and the kind of tours that he does!

after that I hung out for a bit with the fam, but the Dallas Cowboys were losing, so I knew it was time to go before Kevy blew a fuse, he loves Dallas!

now i am home chillin, and ready to get to bed! although I did finally figure out how to get a video on youtube, so you can enjoy it!!! HOORAY! have a great week everyone! PRAYERS needed!

Not the greatest week! ICK!

so this week hasn't been very fun! i kinda got into a fight with my bestie, prayers about that needed!

and i went home, but my mom and i kind got into it, about me not getting a job, and she wasn't realizing that i am trying to find a job, there just aren't any jobs, but we patched that up! what was it about this?? hmmmm....

but it was fun to trip plan for Arizona with my dad, and my brother and i bonded so that was really good too! he even showed me a new cute picture of him and his friend (cough, cough; who's a GIRL!) and i thought it was a prom picture, since he looked dressed up, but it wasn't! its always weird to be back in my old room, so when my mom and i got into it, i went upstairs and found another bed in my room, which i found out was my sisters old bed, but it was nice to have two beds up there, like we had growing up!

now for some good news: the TWINS are rocking, and i just found out that the last game at the dome is sold out, so that game is going to be so much fun!! we are playing detroit right now, and we won the first game, and now we are 3 games back! WOOT WOOT!!

i also got my florida scrapbook done, so yah for that! i just bought one for my SD trip, and am buying some pages and stickers for that one, and then i can start it! YAH!

the tomorrow, i am going back home since on sunday morning we are taking a family picture for our church directory, and we haven't taken one since probably 20 years ago, so it will be quite updated. i will post the old one on facebook, along with the new one when we get it. we are even going to be color coordinated, CRAZINESS!! so it will be fun to see my sister!

well prayers about the job! i just had a good prayer session, just letting God know that I know my future will be glorious, but I am just so darn impatient! haha! well good night everyone, have a great weekend! sorry the updates are not coming as frequently, but my life is quite boring right now!! at least the skating season is coming up though, woot woot!

they are rocking!! and i've just had such a great day! i actually have been staying on a regular sleep schedule, so that has been nice, although this afternoon i did take a nap, and woke up when my dad said that he was coming to town to take me out for supper, so Godfather's here we come! that was fun!

mom and i went to fashion bug while dad went to the dugout sports place, but we didn't find anything.

then i took jamie to barnes and noble and i read a twins magazine, so that was good! then i came back and talked to sister for awhile, and now i am just getting things ready for my trip. its kinda sad though because i haven't actually been watching the twins and i kinda hope they are not winning because i'm not watching cuz that would make me sad!

SUPER fantastic weekend!!!!

this weekend was so much fun! i ended up going to jill's place early on saturday morning, and we went to this store in sauk rapids and it had alot of great scrapbooking stuff!

then we went back to jill's to start scrapbooking and she had a surprise for me. she invited andrea and her son over to come visit, since i hadn't seen her since i left CM. it was so much fun, and her son is such a CUTIE!!

after they left jill and i went to church, which was great!

then we went back to jill's to get some scrapbooking done, and then when it got later we ended up doing some dancing and laughing, and singing, and it was so much fun! jill taught me some moves too!!

then we ended up eating some left over pizza we ordered earlier, at like 3:30 in the morning, which was SOOOOO funny!!

we did sleep in sunday morning, and then we just scrapbooked all day, GOOD TIMES!!

Twins Pregame!!!

yesterday was so much fun!!!

the FSN twins pregame was at the monticello buffalo wild wings, and sara and i got there at about 5:45 and it was PACKED, it was so interesting to see the sports anchors and the camera stuff, and sara and i even got on camera, YAH!!!!!

the funny thing is that during the postgame, a producer or backstage person asked me to ask a question on air, but i was too nervous!! sara kept laughing at me because i wanted to get a picture with the FSN guys, but i was too nervous for that too! I'm just a nervous freak all the way around!!!! haha! :)

after the show was over, i went over to the stage to get on TV, and it was a HUGE stage, so i practically crawled up, and then asked the guys for a picture and pointed to my personal paparazzi camera girl: Sara!!! she thought that was pretty funny!!

it was SOOOOOO much fun!!!

another great day, and its MONDAY!

so today was really great, even though i did fall into my bad sleeping habit of sleeping FOREVER, but i went over to sara's and got my tastefully simple stuff, SO YUMMY!

then i headed home and trip planned with dad, you guys are not going to believe everything that we are going to do! ITS CRAZY!

today was really GREAT!!!! (tony the tiger!)

it started with church this morning, yes I did it again, with plenty of time to even choose what service to go to! church was so good this morning, about 1st Chorintians chapter 8, about working to not do something that will cause another brother (or sister) to fall. so tough, but a very good message, and of course, i LOVE the worship!!!

then i got home, not really sure what my plans were: made plans with jill, and paula, but ended up hanging out with Sara. i told her i was going grocery shopping, and so we went together. we also went to walmart to get pics developed and that took a MILLION years, so we went to shopko and got in right away! haha!!

also potential job alert: so this company that is down the road from me, named Schlenner, Wenner and company (sounds like it looks!) and sara and i have always joked about this place, since the name is funny, and thought it would be so cool to say that i work there, so then i found out that they are hiring and am going to apply tomorrow! so pray for this!

then i hung out, and just had a really good prayer time with the Lord! that is always fun!

wow, its been awhile!

not alot going on, as usual! last weekend was really fun though. i scrapbooked and hung out with sara, and then scrapbooked with Lisa the next day!

and i hung out with sara, and we took jamie bowling; which is always fun!

now the best news: I AM GOING TO KRISTI'S SHOW IN PHOENIX WITH MY DAD!! how exciting am I? so excited! and the musical artists are the backstreet boys! woot woot! so i plan to go home tomorrow and do some trip planning. then i will have another scrapbook! YAH!

so things are looking up, and lisa and i are making plans for our trip to SD at the end of this month, and i am scrapbooking with some old co-workers next weekend! WHOO HOO!!!

and i just found out that some of the FSN guys are going to be in monticello next weekend, so i'm hoping i can get sara to want to go to that! WOOT WOOT!!

wonderfully good day was had!

it started out with me getting up before my alarm clock, imagine that!!!!!! i had plenty of time to get ready and went to crossroads for church, and still ran into traffic lights and was a few minutes late, of course!!!

we sang one of my favorite songs SUPERHERO, and that was so fun, since our lead singer was in a band that i liked, and they sang this song!!!!

sermon was good, more geared toward kids because of VBS, about david and goliath. but we all got a rock to write our fears down, since david used a rock or pebble to defeat goliath, and i wrote my job searching, so please pray about this!

after church i watched the twinkies win, organized my scrapbooking stuff, and survived my dieting plan for today! (i think!) it just felt like a productive day!

then later i went to target and bought baby brudder's b-day present, and ran into marta (old pci friend) 's sister! CRAZINESS!

then i went over to munsinger gardens, which is SOOOOO beautiful!

then i came back home, watched The Cutting Edge 3, which was pretty good, considering that the second one was HORRIBLE!!!

then i had my prayer time, and i've always wanted to get married, because i feel like i want to have a bible study with my husband, and i feel so lonely sometime, but i just have to remember that God is with me always. i ended up talking to jackie later, and she always makes me feel better. i just get so nervous meeting new people, but i know that i need to connect with Crossroads, and that I LOVE that church! but its scary! PRAYERS needed all around! :)

after talking to jackie forever, i found out the Guardian was on TV, and it was SUCH a good movie, reminded me of what God has done for me! it was sooooo good, i was sobbing!!!

well its SUPER late, and i am going to bed, and then headed home for my family b-day party for kevy!!! NIGHT!

Wow, its almost august!

sorry i haven't been writing, things have been busy during the weekends, but during the week, my lack of fun would bore you guys! haha!

but its been a busy july, cousins wedding, family in town (which was SOOOO much fun!) and then this last weekend we had my dad's side of the family over for a day at the pool, which was great, and then this weekend i am scrapbooking, and planning a trip to south dakota with lisa, and then my brother's b-day is monday, so i am going back home to hang out with the family.

so things have been crazy, but i cannot believe the summer is almost over, still not job prospects. i submit resume's all the time, and hear nothing back, so prayers would be appreciated for that.

also this last weekend i started a diet, so far so good, but still nervous. PRAY please!!!! its an online thing, where u record all the foods u eat! PRAYERS!

twins just lost a game, due to a SUPER dumb ump!!! OH MY GOSH, i am still so mad!!! GRRRRRRR!!!! but other than that, the twinkies are still in good shape, and joe mauer is still the love of my life! haha! :)

so i slept in, woke up to watch more star wars!! YAH! You scruffy looking nerferder!!!!! haha!

then i started to watch the twinkies game, but we were sucking, but now we tied it up, its 7-7 in the 9th, i hope it doesn't go into extra innings, i have to get up early tomorrow for my trip to Mille Lacs Lake, so i gotta go to bed soon! AHHHHHHHH!!!

another star wars day!

i LOVE star wars!!! they are showing all the episodes, calling it Force of July week!! (get it, may the force be with you?) you gotta watch star wars, it rocks!

then i went to munsinger gardens again, which is SOOOO beautiful!!!! then i went to target and bought a bouncy ball, DUH kristin! now i can bounce around all day, instead of being lazy!!!

so today was a good day, just chillin, and i think i am going to my parents house to swim!! so yah!

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away STAR WARS!!

so there was a star wars movie marathon on tv, it wasn't all of the movies, but it was the 3rd one, which is hard to watch since its when anakin becomes darth vader, and when padme says "Anakin, your breaking my heart", that breaks my heart!

tomorrow the 4th one is on, so that will be good to see them in sucession.

then jamie and i went to munsinger gardens, which is SOOOO pretty and it was fun too!

then i come back here and one of the pirate movies are on, AHHHHH!!!! such a movie day! i think i am going to go back to my parents tomorrow and swim, and getting excited for my trip with jill to mille lacs lake, somewhere new to explore!

wow, its been a week, sorry about that!

although nobody reads this, but i still like writing in it and reading it later on down the road, plus i don't do much of anything, except look for a job!!!

so i spent most of my time at my parents last week, at the pool, which was FABULOUS! then i went home and went to DQ with jill and then we went to her place and hung out and talked and now we are planning to go to Mille Lacs Lake for the 4th, there's going to be a parade, and a park we can walk around, i think it will be fun!

then i went scrapbooking with jill and lisa, and it was so much fun! when we needed a break we went to applebee's to get hamburgers for twins ticket discounts, YAH!!!

i got so much done, but i still have a lot to do in my book!

then the next day i went home, since we had an outdoor service, sermon on the mound, literally on the kimball express baseball field, which was great. we sang some old hymns, which i love, and the sermon was great, and then there was a picnic back at the church which was so much fun, to catch up with everyone!!

then we went back to the house, since we were celebrating dad's b-day and father's day, and we all took naps, and then i read out by the pool, but it wasn't a very good swim day.

then we played card games, we played one called mugins, which my great grandfather taught my dad, and my dad either got last or second to last, which was funny! i even won twice! every once in awhile we would break out into songs, we sang sound of music, backstreet boys, and the hymns we sang at church, which was great! we don't sound good, but its fun to sing!

then we drove to st. cloud and took the fam out to Bonanza, which is YUMMY!!! it was fun, i also found out we are going to meet kevy's (girl!!!!) friend, so we went around the table to say something nice about dad, and a story we can tell Sam (the girl) about kevin, which was great!

then afterward jackie came back to my place and we hung out for a bit, it was just a fun day with my fam, and i got some sun too, which is a good thing! (even though it was just on my arm, weird huh?)

then today i slept in, which was FABULOUS, and then sara came over later. we went shopping, and got ice cream at DQ, which was yummy, and then came back to watch the twinkies lose, way sad!

but things have been good lately, i am just going to focus on getting a job!!! PRAYERS needed!!

things have been CRAZY!

so twins game: AMAZING! we lost by a few feet in the bottom of the 9th, which i was bummed about, but it was a fun game! sara and i drove to jackie's, and we got there in one piece, and when i called jackie to say that we were there, she said "AHHH! you gave me a mini heart attack!" which was HILARIOUS!

then i showed jackie my tape of me on the news, of course!!!!!

then jackie drove us to the game, and we didn't get the cowboy hats, but i was okay with it because when would i wear a cowboy hat????

our seats were AMAZING! we were pretty close to homeplate, the game was fun with all the homers and we were winning until sara and i decided to get a dome dog, and we came back and we were losing, but those dome dogs are so YUMMY!!! sorry for leaving for a bit twinkies, we made up for it, by staying later!

joe also hit a homer, and i got a bunch of great pictures, but i will be glad for the new field when we don't have to creak our necks to see homeplate, but i will miss the dome, for the assurance of playing every game! oh well!

when we got back to our seats, two people were in them, but we made them move, and the older guy was CRAZY!!!!! but then they left eventually, so that was nice!

okay picture this: bottom of the 9th inning, someone on 2nd, two outs, Joe Crede pinch hits and hits a ball 5 feet away from being a homer, to win the game, AHHHH! i couldn't believe it didn't go over, i think sara was SHOCKED too!

then the game ended, but we decided to stick around to watch the FSN guys do the post game stuff, so that was fun! we also ran into dick bremer (bert's partner on tv) around the concorse, afterwards, and that was funny!

good times, i wish they won, but oh well! we will get them next time!

then we drove home, and sara posted her pics as soon as we got to her place! it was crazy!

now i am at my parents house, its my dad's b-day tomorrow, and so i'm just chillin by the pool, and trying to tan, i know i have to be back by thursday since jill and i are going to DQ, so that will be fun!

so today was good, i got up early, did my devotions and chilled, but the fun part was that the twinkies won and that i hung out with jill and lisa. we went to DQ, which was great, and then jill came over to my place and we talked FOREVER, it was really fun! nice to catch up with my CM girls!

WONDERFUL day was had!

i actually went to bed early last night, and got up early this morning, so i got a new resume/cover letter and all that stuff ready for my dad to fax into work, and came home to discover we can only find one baby kitty, which makes me SOOOOOO sad! can u believe it??

then i came home and found out that i was going to be on the news for the Good Question segment with Jason DeRusha on channel 4. it was for my question about the twinkies (duh!!!) about how to get circled by bert, and jason even asked for a picture of me, and i got circled by bert on TV, woot woot!!!

it was really funny, my dad was SOOO into it, and practically called everyone, it was great. he said i got my 15 seconds of fame!

so it was just a nice and cheerful day!

also jamie and i went to barnes and noble, so that was fun, and I am getting excited to work on a sign for the twinkies game for saturday! WHOO HOO, maybe i will really get circled by bert at the game, we shall see!

i actually got a lot accomplished, woot woot! i woke up early to the twins having a rain delay, it started about an half hour late, and we won the game! WOOT WOOT! joe did awesome!

then i took my roomie to the library, which was fun! then we played some more games, which was really fun!!

then i got ready for church, and it was AMAZING! the worship there is so wonderful, and the message really hit home, about tough times in this economy, and still helping when we can, and knowing that God will provide no matter what! great message, isn't it crazy when every single message hits you at home, because u are going through it at the exact time??? wow!

then i got home, ate supper chilled out, and then talked to sara and she came over on her way home from a wedding, so it was nice to hang out with her, and she looked SOOOOOO cute! she was all dressed up! it was nice to see her, since i hadn't seen her in FOREVER!

just a good day! i talked to my mom early and she is always so good at reasuring me that everything is going to be fine, and she is very true!! i will survive!!

then i got ready to meet up with marta, and it was so much fun! her sister came with, and she is just as cute as marta. it was so much fun. marta even paid for my supper and movie, even though i told her she didn't have too, i just thought that was SOOOO nice!

it was fun to catch up, since i haven't seen her in FOREVER!!!

then i came home and i played some games with my roomie, which was really fun! then i watched us switch to digital, and my tv still works, YAH for that!

well this weekend i am planning to chill, i really need to get back on track with going for walks, cleaning my place up, and then i am working on applying to my church, since we have an opening for receptionist, so i will let you guys know what happens!

so i slept in, which was nice, but i just chilled, and i went and bought salad ingredients, and boy was my salad good!! its nice to actually like something that is so good!

now i'm just worrying about the twinkies, they were winning into the 9th inning, 10-0, and now all of the sudden its 5-10, UH OH!!! come on twinkies, lets go!!!

so all around good day, i am planning to hang out with sara!

i watched a lot of good movies, and had a good prayer time with God!

i sure slept GREAT last night, thats for sure!

so today i went to my parents, which was so fun! mom made spaghetti and we hung out with the baby kitties, there is already one missing, i hope this isn't because of Lady, our dog!

then we watched the twinkies game, and they were doing great, but we ended up losing, DARN it!

just fun to be at home with my fam! good times!

so i totally slept in, which was nice! then i talked to an old co-worker on the phone, marta and we are hanging out next weekend, WOOT WOOT!

basically i've just been chillin, reading PS I love you, such a good book, and watching the twinkies. i also went for a walk, and talked to sara on the phone, and then i went grocery shopping and ran into first, little zac, which was great, and then my brother and his friends. it was funny because i was checking out and then i saw an old beat up twins jacket, which i recognized as on one of ours (as in the Sommers family) and turns out that it was my brother wearing it, funny huh! one of his friends is so nice, and knows of my love for joe mauer!

so good day, fun to run into everyone!!

so yesterday was kind of rough, but today was a great day! i set my alarm early to wake up for the day twins game, but i overslept by A LOT!!!!!! whoopsie, but the twinkies did win, in fact they dominated, which is nice especially since they lost yesterday!

i also woke up and read all my emails, which was a bunch, kind of having a Finley family heated discussion about..................


duh duh duhhhhhhhhh: HARRY POTTER, like seriously???? i think its pretty funny!!

then jamie and i went to play raquetball, and that was just nice to get all of my unemployment frustrations out!!! YAH!!!!!!!!

now i am just chillin, i am also addicted to new home shows, and still wedding shows (two things which i don't have, a finance, or buying a home! HAHAHAHAHA!!!

now i think jamie and i are going bowling this weekend, and i will probably go home this weekend, and hope that the pool gets opened soon!!!

i slept in, which was VERY nice! but i got everything done! WOOT WOOT, by this i mean doing two devotions, going for a walk, and doing some shopping. of course, i did the stupid thing of going shopping at 5:30, right when traffic is bad, but i found the Phantom of the Opera soundtrack, WOOT WOOT, so then i went for a walk around the block playing the soundtrack, and it was hard because there's a bunch of hills with no sidewalk, and i was wearing flip flops, but it was very good for me to do this, since it took like 45 minutes, and when i came back JOE HIT ANOTHER HOMER, he is ready to break his altime record and its only June! YAH!!!!!

so a good day was had! i just am getting nervous as the week winds down, since i still haven't heard anything about the job! AHHHHHHH!!!

wow, its been awhile!! sorry guys!!

so crazy things have been happening, and i am going to update you on it:

first of all: STRESSED OUT, to put it lightly! PRAYERS NEEDED!!! i had a job interview last friday at the Legends of Heritage place, which was for a receptionist position, and so i spent most of last week at my parents place, just getting ready and talking to my dad's hiring manager, which she gave me a lot of good pointers!!

during the interview though, i was SOOOOOO nervous! she was super nice though, and mom and dad bought me a new outfit, which i looked very cute in, and she did ask me some weird questions, but i think it went well, and i should hear something later this week!

btw it was nice being home a lot, there was even one night when we were outside playing with the kitties, and it was nice!

then this last weekend was sara's b-day and i was supposed to hang out with her friday night, but i just felt sick and i think in a way, i made myself sick because i was so nervous about the interview, and then you think after an interview, that you can breath again, but then you forget the stress about waiting to hear, and so i went over to her place on saturday and we did the shopping thing, and then i slept over on saturday night, and sara did come to church with me, which was great! also found out that the church is hiring a secretary, but its only part time, so that could be a possibility! but church was so good, and i just think with all the stress, during worship i just sobbed, it was great!!

with being at mom and dad's, and then sara's all weekend it was nice to be at my place, but now my light is acting up in my bathroom, grrrr!

but jamie and i went to the library and barnes and noble, and listened to some music at barnes and noble, so that was nice!!

good to just be at my place chillin, as soon as i hear about the job, i will let you know! keep praying!!!

twinkies rock!!!

so they unfortunately lost yesterday, but guess who pinch hit a homer in the 9th inning, to make it closer, that is right my man JOE!!!!!

well today was good. i got up early, FOR ME, and went home to visit my kitties, and to drop off my resume that dad was going to fax from work. they are so cute, and i miss them!!!

then i came back for my class, and Jayne was there, so it was good to see her, and we caught up for a bit afterward, then i went to the library with jamie, and got the book P.S. i Love you, since i LOVED the movie!!

then mom and dad came over since dad's hiring boss looked over my resume, and fixed it up!! YAH!!!!

now i am just chillin, and watched the twinkies win!! way to go guys!!!!

great weekend was had!!

so today was great, even though i had to get up early for church, and getting yelled at by my mom made me remember every morning growing up! HAHAHAHAHA!!

church was really good too! its always nice to go back to my home church, the message was super good, and great songs!!! fun to see people too!

after church i basically chilled all day!! i started with a disney travel special, then the prince and me 2, then Fever Pitch, and top model between.

then i brought in some of my baby kitties, and they are so cute!!!! i took some pictures of them reading the paper with joe mauer on the cover, and also picked some lilacs, and brought some home with me, even though they almost tipped over!! haha!!

then the twinkies played and we swept the brewers, and joe hit another homer, and justin hit a grand slam, WOOT WOOT! my twinkies are coming back!! way to go!

then i came home, and i've been doing laundry and have plans to go to lisa's to scrapbook!!! fun times!

Family day, and it was really fun!

jackie woke me up when she got home, of course!! and i forgot how uncomfortable my bed here is!! haha!

we basically chilled all afternoon, and played with the baby kitties, which was so fun! then we decided to watch the phantom and my brother wanted to watch it to before they left, which is funny because he hates sound of music, but i guess "what can you do, right?"

it was just a fun day! mom burnt hamburgers, nothing changes there, and it was fun to hang with the fam. then the boys left, and jackie left later, and mom watched the rest of the phantom with me.

then we cooked a pizza, and i watched the twinkies win, and our new rookie pitcher perform WONDERFULLY! Hooray! plus joe hit another homer, WOOT WOOT!!!

great day was had! now i am tired, so i am off to bed!! NIGHTY NIGHT!

I went BOWLING!! haha!

i had such a great day! I didn't really sleep last night, but sara came over when she got off work, and we went with jamie BOWLING!! it was so much fun! we did two games, the first i did a 79 and the second i did an 84! i rock! it was alot of fun, and they played the twinkies game, so we got to watch them DOMINATE!!!

then sara and i came back to my place and chilled out, we went for a walk which was nice since it was kinda later, and much cooler out!

then i packed up and am now at home chillin! i hung out with dad for a bit, but then he went to bed and now i've just been on the computer, since my laptop has been sucky!!

tomorrow jackie is going to be home, and she is bringing the Phantom, YAH!!! i am also hoping that us girls find me a job, and the boys if they wanna help before they leave!

i am just glad to be home. cannot wait to find the baby kitties tomorrow, i guess the momma cat hid them again, so i hope we find them, i love baby kitties!!!!! also the pool isn't open, but i will live! also going to pick me some lilacs! YAH!

great day was HAD!!!!!!!!!!!!

i actually got up early, but then i got on facebook and was almost late for my unemployment class, of course, i was the first one there, with one other lady!! woo, because i would've hated to be the only one!!!! it was good though, gave me some ideas!

after that i went home and watched the twinkies DOMINATE!! they kicked chicago's butt 20-1, WOOT WOOT!! i just wish they either scored this much in a bunch of games, or saved some of these runs for other games!!!! i will never fall of the bandwagon, but it can be frustrating! oh well, joe hit a GRAND SLAM baby, he is on FIRE!!!!

after the game, jamie and i went to the library, and ever since watching PS I Love You, i've wanted to watch the Phantom of the Opera, because the guy in PS I love you is the phantom, but can you believe that i cannot find it anywhere, and will probably have to get it online. i hate buying stuff online, especially from ebay, maybe i will ask my mom too, she likes doing that!!! SHE IS OBSESSED with ebay! haha!

well, looking forward to tomorrow, going bowling with sara and jamie, and then going home for the weekend, and cannot wait to see our baby kitties!!! they are SOOOOOOOOOOOO chute!!! :)

she let me sleep in, which was FABULOUS!!!!

then we scrapbooked all afternoon, and went to crafts direct, which is our new "fashion bug" then we went to burger time for supper, YUMMY!! i hadn't been there in forever, and it was SOOOOOOOO goood!!!

then we came back, went for a long walk which was WONDERFUL, and then we watched P.S. I Love You, which was great, and we also watched the twinkies, but they lost, which was VERY sad!!!!

scrapbooking day!!

so i totally slept in FOREVER!!! my mom ended up calling me to wake me up, whoopsy! she was hoping that i'm not depressed, since depressed people sleep all the time, but for some reason my sleeping has just been HORRIBLE!!!!! AHHHHHHH!!

i basically chilled all afternoon, and cleaned up, since sara came over tonight to spend the night! i finally did the pile of dishes stacking up!!! haha!

well waiting for sara i watched the twinkies, finally away from New york, just to lose to chicago, who has been sucking worse than us! hopefully we do better tomorrow, joe did hit another homer, but our starter Scott Baker stunk, so hopefully whoever pitches tomorrow, is WONDERFUL!!

sara and i had fun scrapbooking, and she is sleeping right now, and when we needed a break we went to mcdonalds and got mcflurries!! YUMMY!

so instead of going to my support group, i slept in!! which was FABULOUS!!! i did absolutely nothing all day, and it was just relaxing! although i did make sure to do some more cleaning!!

sara came over since we both had something for each other! she gave me a schedule with joe mauer on it, and i gave her some funny scraps from my weekend of scrapbooking!!! haha!

i'm planning to go home for a bit tomorrow, and then having a sleepover with sara, since she has some days off from school, so YEAH!!!!!

the twins lost badly again, but we are now done with Yankee stadium!!! WOO HOO!!!! now it wasn't our bullpen that was bad, it was our starting pitcher, but now we play chicago, who've sucked lately, so thats good!!!!!

this weekend was SOOOO much fun!!

i just had a FABULOUS weekend!!! i woke up early this morning, AGAIN! haha! and chatted with Jill, while lisa was sleeping, and then we continued scrapbooking! lisa and i both left around noonish, and i came home to watch the twinkies lose AGAIN! grrrrrr NY Yankees, and our bullpen!!! we still have to play them tomorrow, so i am hoping we can come back!!!

then today i just chilled, it was nice to just relax, but i am just so tired from this weekend, that i am going to bed! i am planning to go the unemployment support class tomorrow, and then going home sometime this week to job hunt with my mom, scrapbook with sara since she has some off days from work, and hanging out with jamie!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!! so it was defintely nice to chill today!

Wow, what didn't we do today???

it was a great day! it started with sleeping in, woot woot!!!! i was actually the first one up, and turned on the twinkies game, just as jill walked in, who hates the twins, and i could tell she was thinking "is it over yet?" and it just started and went into extra innings! we ended up losing, GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!! i hate the yankees, and of course we are playing another game with them tomorrow and monday!

after that we basically scrapbooked all afternoon, which was so much fun!!! i am getting so much done too!!

then we went to church and both jill and lisa really liked it, which makes me so happy!!!! HALLEJUAH!!!!! (or however you spell that!) message was great, it was about sex, and jill was just shocked that we would talk about that in church, haha!!! :)

after church we went to perkins, and i left my leftovers there, GRRRR!!! oh well!! i remembered as we were getting closer to jill's!! :)

then we got back to jill's and just picked up scrapbooking again! i am almost to our first day at Disney, WOOT WOOT!!! it has been so much fun! after we did that for awhile, we ended up just chillin and watching TV, since lisa finished her projects, so that was fun too! i miss my pod!!!

well i should get some sleep, but i believe both lisa and i are leaving early afternoon, and i think i am heading home, but we shall see!!

then i watched a recap of the twins game, dad came over for a bit, and then jamie and i went to the YMCA, which was so much fun! at first we worked out on the exercise equipment, and then we played raquetball, which was so much fun!!

now i am just getting my scrapbooking stuff together, since i am so excited about scrapbooking with my pod!!! WOOT WOOT!!!! very good day, and i also went for a walk!! no vaccumming, but i will probably do some tomorrow. i am also planning on going home for a bit to cook up some stuff for the weekend, since i have my mom to help me!! :)

lazy day was had!

do u ever have one of those days where u just want to stay in your PJ's all day? that was me! I didn't go outside, i couldn't go for a walk looking like i do now!! but i am going to the YMCA tomorrow with my roomate, so that should make up for today, since i've had a good track record of going for walks and getting outside, which is good!

well i got ready for the twins game and it went into 13 innings, but we did WIN, HOORAY!! joe didn't do very great, no homers, but he can't pick up the team everytime!!! i did some scrapbooking, and internet surfing! i also did more vacumming and dusting, it takes awhile since i have one of these teeny tiny vaccums, oh well!!!

today was a BEAUTIFUL day, not in terms of weather since it was icky out, but just because of what happened! it started out with me getting up early, that was good of me! i chilled out, and then Jamie and i went to the library, and ran into Sara's mom!!

after that i got ready for the twinkies game, and we won! joe also hit another homer, he is SOOO wonderful! after the game i did my devotion, and have been emotional because of losing my job, and i decided in the middle of my prayer to turn on my radio to the Christian station and this song played, which was a total message from God:

great day, a lot was accomplished!!

so today i got up for the workshop, but it felt more like a AA meeting, we went around the room and told everyone our story, i felt like saying: "I am an alcoholic, and i need help!" just kidding, but it was good feedback! there was a girl who talked about her fear of interviews, i am totally the same way!! EEEKKK, but i just gotta remember that i've done it before, and i'm 2 for 2, in terms of interviews!

after that i went to walmart and found some resume paper, this is more than i did last week, then i was going to go to the library with my roomate, but she ended up taking a nap, haha!! so i did my dishes that were piling up, and finished my laundry and folded my clothes and put them away, i was on a role, so after that i decided to wait to vacum, i think i need to do it tomorrow, so i just chilled out after all my hard work, went grocery shopping, got some healthy food and then sara called me saying something about her mom needing to go to a meeting, and she was supposed to watch her cousin, and so i went to her house, to relieve her mom, but her mom stayed, and sara showed up a few minutes later. boy is her cousin a cutie pie! he's 2, and adorable! fun times!

after the father came, sara brought up that her uncle finally gave her our graduation ceremony tape from high school, so we watched that, it was TOOOOOO funny!! we tried to guess middle names, and baby pictures, and turns out they accidentially taped over sara accepting her diploma, haha!!

of course after this we looked at her yearbooks, and laughed at what everyone said, and during high school we wrote down all our fun times in her planner, and everytime we look at it, i keep saying that i need a copy, and i never remember, but its so fun to reminisce!!! good times (and great oldies, cool 108!!) u know i had to do that!!!

then we also went for a walk! fun times! well i should get some sleep, i'm tired. prayers needed!

it was a fun day! i went home, and then we left for monticello to meet jackie at perkins! it was yummy, and we had so much fun!! we spent a couple hours just chillin out! fun times!

when we got home i found out the twinkies lost, GRRRR! our bullpen is not doing well, come on guys! they have an off day tomorrow, so hopefully they can gear up for a tough week against those darn tigers, and then heading to the new yankee stadium, hopefully we crush them in it!!

then i just chilled out at home with my parents, and cleared out the place, it was like going to a grocery store!! haha!

then i came home and have been chillin out! i talked to sara today and she said she found out her uncle filmed our high school graduation, so we are going to watch that together tomorrow! what a FABULOUS weekend!!!

so it started out with not getting up in time to hang with sara! i accidentially set my alarm for PM, instead of AM, silly me!!!

then i called sara apologizing profussely, and she forgave me!!!

then i went to church, and it was really good!! we sang alot of good songs, and the message was about being happy with your church community!

then i went to crafts direct, and met sara!! i found some more cute disney things, and found out they are hiring, i might as well get paid from them, since it will go right back to them, but i don't want to be a cashier, cuz that would be not fun! we shall see what happens!

then sara and i went to walgreens, and got her pics, and there was a cute boy there! YAH! fun times!!

then we went to scheels, and looked at the twinkies stuff, i am going to get a morney shirt, but not sure when! then we went to target and looked at there scrapbooking stuff, and got her mom her gift for tomorrow!!! it looked like fun!!

then sara dropped me off, and i drove home to watch the end of the game! joe was dominating once again, and hit a homer and a double! he is on fire!! i LOVE him!

and now we are scrapbooking, and then tomorrow i have to get up early because we are having brunch and meeting my sis halfway in monticello!

then i am going to see if jamie wants to go to the y to go swimming!! and then chillin out!! i need to go grocery shopping, so i will do that tomorrow as well!!!

and i am going to miss the twinkies game, but i am excited to hang with my family!!! have a great rest of the weekend!! :)

well today i got up early, for me, and chilled out, its nice to have those days, then i watched the twinkies fight, and sara came over and we went to sam's club and walmart, and it was fun! we always laugh together, which is great!

i also talked to sister and we are trying to figure out what to get mom for mom's day, i will let you know what we come up with! haha!

i think tomorrow i am chillin again, and taking jamie out for supper, and not sure what the rest of the weekend will come to! we shall see! :)

so much has happened, sorry i haven't posted!!!

so yesterday was a great day!! i had to get up early for the Creative Job workshop, but it was a very good class! very helpful! i actually ended up meeting someone who got laid off from the CM factory, and she was there 7 years, CRAZINESS!!!

then we had an interview portion which made me so NERVOUS, but it was very good!

after that i kinda had a hard time, lots of thoughts about "I cannot believe how much work goes into finding a new job!" some tears, prayers needed!! i ended up going to the library with one of my roomates Jamie, which was fun! i almost lost her too, that place is huge, but i got some books about job searching, and have my research to start diving into, probably tomorrow!

today was a great day too, i slept in, which was nice! then jamie and i went to see 17 again, which was WONDERFUL! i LOVE zac efron, he is so great, and cute!! the movie was really funny!

then it was off to go home for a home church program, which i had to hurry to since the movie went super late, but i am so glad i went, it was nice to be with my home church and see everyone, lots of encouraging words!! i love being with my fam, and i am so excited to celebrate mom's day this weekend! also when dad and kevy go to the indy race, jackie and i are going to go home and celebrate a girls weekend at the pool, HOORAY! i hope its nice out, its nice to just get away! i never thought my parents house would be my oasis, but it is!!!!

now i am just chillin, planning to get up kinda early tomorrow, and then hanging out with sara!! yah!

i got alot accomplished today!! YAH~!

so i woke up early for the workshop this morning and it was very GOOD! very interesting alot of good info to use for my job search, i have one tomorrow morning too, icky!!!

then i went grocery shopping and came home and went for a walk to the boy park, i of course wore my flip flops that are not very comfy, whoops, but it was a good walk with God!!

then sara came over for a bit and we hung out, and then it was TWINS time! we beat detroit, woot woot!!! while that was going on, i watched DWTS, painted my toe nails, shaved, wow, i got a lot done!!! yah for me!

now i should get some sleep since i have to be up early tomorrow, YUCK!!! have a great week! :)

today was FUN!

i kinda overslept, SORRY SARA!!!!!! but basically i woke up, had lunch, watched a few minutes of the twins; they were winning when i left, and lost when i came back, good bye Kansas City!

i went over to sara's and we went to the park near her house and we played tennis, which was really fun, this was my first time playing, and so we didn't really do it right, but it was fun. we didn't keep score either, not sure how to do that! it was a perfect day too, not too hot, not to cold!

after that i came home and chilled, talked to my mom, which was good, making some plans for mothers day next weekend, we are getting my mom the BEST GIFT!!! she will LOVE it! not telling what, in case she is reading this!

i basically just got things organized, and cleaned up and am hoping that i can go to bed soon, i have a job workshop tomorrow afternoon, and then i am planning on watching the twins game and organizing my Florida album stuff! YAH!

what a day!

first of all i slept way to late, as always! then it was time to get ready for church, church was so good tonight. it was about not being judgement in a rude way, but being a good friend and letting people know, in a Christ way, of when you think they are not doing something good, or should be quiting the bad stuff, which is hard, because i don't wanna go up to my best friend and be like "you are such a jerk, and you did this and this; how could you" when i've probably done the same thing, i should try saying "i can't believe that happened, is there anything i can do to help you? this is something i tried when this situation happened, maybe it will help you!" ya know, i hope that made sense, and then one of the singers was saying stuff about this past easter and how great it was, and it really was, watching the Passion of the Christ was so great!!!! great worship,
and then i talked to Lisa and she wanted to scrapbook tonight, so that was fun, we were watching the game, and we ended up losing, but it was still fun. did my first page in my disney album, although i don't really like it, but oh well!!!

now tomorrow i am hanging out with sara and then i plan to do some shopping and maybe go home, we shall see! have a great rest of the weekend!

JOE MAUER ROCKS MY WORLD!!!

okay, so its his first game back and his first swing of the bat, and he hits a HOME RUN!!!!! what in the world, my man is AMAZING!!!!!

so my day was great, i didn't get to bed until 10:00, yes this morning, i of course started a book, wrong move, i know when i read a new book before bed, if its good, i won't put it down until its over, i have another one to read, but i am waiting for another day!!!

then, i of course, told sara i was still up, since she was headed to work, and she just laughed!!!! said she was wondering how my sleep schedule was going, not so good i reply, but now i'm wondering if there are any sleep clinics around here, that would like to test me?!?!?! is there good money in that?!?!?

i finally went to bed, after picking up another book, haha! i slept for about 6 hours, and then got ready to meet sara, we went to walmart and go tennis rackets, and then we were supposed to go to arbys, but it was almost game time, so i told sara to go without me, but she didn't, oh well!

we watched tons of coverage of joe, which was great, he is so cute, so great to see his cute face, and butt in the lineup, then he hits his homer, when he hit his homer, i practically fell out of my seat and jumped around, it was fun, and then he gets a double his next at bat!!! he's wonderful!

we were watching the game, and then decided to go get some food, so we did, and then came back and watched more of the game! it was fun!

then i did some scrapbooking, while we watched bride wars, not the best movie, but still good!! then we just hung out, we are planning to actually play tennis tomorrow, since we decided to watch the game today, i should've gotten tickets to the game today, DUH me!!! haha!

oh well, i am planning to hang with sara tomorrow, and then scrapbooking with lisa and melissa on sunday! WOOT WOOT!!!!

another day of being unemployed!

i try not to let it get me down, especially after the up day i had yesterday, but its kinda tough. first of all i slept all day, which i am trying not to do, so hopefully i change that. tomorrow i have plans to do some serious job searching, and then when i need a break, i think a trip to the library would be a good idea! its just great when i look up something and then i don't qualify or its not what i thought! AHHHHHHH!!! keep praying!

well sara came over after work and we went for a walk to the park behind my house, and it has tennis courts, so i think we are going to get some tennis rackets and see how we can do it! plus there were a ton of guys there, YAH!!

then we came back to my place and bought tickets for a twins game in june!!!!

then i watched the twinkies lose to Tampa bay, which stunk, but i like when we play them because they have Jason Bartlett and he is very beautiful!!!!

but go twins tomorrow, and pray for me, its very needed!! Thanks! :)

what another fantastic day, it was a God day!

so it started with me getting caught up on sleep!! HOORAY, i slept so well last night, but then unfortunately i watched the twinkies lose, which is okay, we can't win everything, but i was bummed that Morneau and Kubel struck out, but those two can't be the ones that keep taking care of the team!! still bummer though!

then i watched tv, and organized my scrapbooking stuff, since i finished my Arizona one, its time to start my disney one! then i found out Narnia was on, so i watched that!

then i did something wonderful, i had a time with God, and it was just AMAZING!!! a long time ago i wrote down versus from the bible that i liked and i found it, and started looking up some scripture, it was just really great to do that. i can be so dumb and spend all my time doing nothing, and not giving my time to God when i should be doing that, DUH to me!! especially after everything he has done for me, you may be thinking "is she crazy, she just lost her job!" BUT i have the Lord, he knew this was going to happen before i was born, and i do believe he has a plan for me, sure its scary, but i wasn't very happy at CM, so maybe my next job is my DREAM job, and i am looking forward to finding that out!! it was just great, i cannot believe i don't do this all the time! i am so dense sometimes!

then i did some shopping!!!

then i came home and chilled some more, and was planning to go to bed early, but then i found out the Negotiator was on, and i've only seen bits and pieces of it, and so i decided to watch all of it, and its a good movie!!! you should watch it!

now i am going to bed! good night, wish me luck with my job search, and keep praying!!!!

wow, what a FANTASTIC day!

it was a VERY long day! i went to bed at 10:00 on friday night, and got up at 3:30 in the AM, yes i said in the MORNING!!! i couldn't get back to sleep, so i stopped fighting it, although i was tired all day, but who cares!

i ended up watching saved by the bell, who knew it was still on saturday mornings, and then a movie about celine dion was on, so i watched that, then i went over to sara's. we went for a walk, which is so much fun, it wasn't too hot out, so that helped too. then we hung out at her house, and we agreed to meet for supper, so that i could go to church. she was going to go with me, but then backed out! keep praying!! i would love for her to go sometime, sara, if you are reading this I REALLY WANT U TO GO!!!!!

then we met up at la casita, and it was REALLY good! but not very filling since i didn't eat all day, and didn't afterwards, but i guess thats a good thing!

then after that we got sara's car washed, jackie called about some stories from our childhood for her book, my skating in the living room, very embarassing!!

then we went to fashion bug, and i got a shirt, and found out that they are hiring, EEEEKKKK, so i picked up a job application, but not sure since i don't want to do retail!!! we shall see i guess!

then after fashion bug we came back to my house, and scrapbooked, i got my Arizona book FINISHED!! WHOO HOO!!

then we watched some of the old twins commericals, which got us laughing so hard, it felt like we were drunk, we weren't! GREAT day! it was so much fun!

i cannot believe i forgot to blog last night!

SORRY!! even though no one reads this, i had a great day! it started with sleeping in, and reading in bed and then my dad came over, totally unexpected, he went and got pizza for last night! YAH!!

then sara came over and she brought me a sample of the cake i made!! YUMMY, it was very good, if i do say so myself!

then it was off to my parents house, and my mom and i played with the cats, and hung out, and dad came home with the pizza!! YUMMY!

we talked disney, my dad and i, so that was nice too! planning for my next trip, which i believe will be 2011, hopefully more of the fam goes!

i just hung out with them, it was fun! also my parents always let me take stuff i need, which is so great!!!

then i came home and started to look for jobs, and was unsuccessful!! still looking! haha!

still unemployed.....

so today started with watching the twins get cloberred this afternoon, and then they lost in the second game, so glad we aren't going to Boston anymore, i HATE boston!!! :)

when sara got off, i went and met her at cub since she wanted to help give me a cooking class, so that was fun! i did pretty well, if i do say so myself!!

then it was time to meet up with my landlords, and i had a good meeting with them! basically i'm going to be working with Jamie, however many hours a week, and they are taking my rent down, WOO HOO!!! very great of them! they also said that i could apply with Catholic Charities, which is the organization that Jamie is with, and maybe work with others. i'm not sure yet, but we will see!

then i came home and watched the night game, and they lost SADLY! then i talked to my parents and they gave me some job places to check out, thanks mom, and i am going home tomorrow, so it will be nice to see them, and chill, and get some toliet paper!!! :)

also i am going to apply to the twins organization tomorrow, how cool would that be? YAH!

well i am tired, so i'm going to bed! NIGHT!

another day of being unemployed!

wowza, i'm getting kinda bored, but don't get me wrong, it is nice to chill out!!!

i overslept, and sara woke me up by saying "Kristin Ann" it was pretty funny! i eventually got ready and went over to Sara's, where we watched nsync and backstreet boys music videos, and then we went for a walk, which was really nice! then i came home and chilled out, the twins game got rained out in boston tonight, so i am going to get up early since they are going to have a day/night double header, then i meet with my landlord, and also sara is going to give me a cooking lesson, but i need to start getting serious about job looking, so i will let you know how that goes.

another fun monday!

i am trying to stay positive, although today was just another reminder that i am an unemployed loser!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!! i am starting to enjoy chillin, but i don't want to, because then i will never get motivated to find work! i feel like i should carry a sign around saying:

GIVE ME A JOB!!!! BUT A FUN ONE, MY DREAM JOB (PS NOT SURE WHAT THAT IS!)

also, i'm not yelling, i am just in need of HELP!!!!! SOS sea ponies!!

but i do have to say that i got up early, sara made me since her hours are cut shorter, and she thought that she would be done early, but she wasn't, oh well! I chilled until she got off work, then i thought it would be a good idea to go to walmart and get my Florida pics developed, so i could start scrapbooking it, but it turned out to be EXPENSIVE, ahhhhh!!!! i'm just in that kinda mood, bare with me! then i suggested eating at subway in walmart, and we got there right after a lady ordered 5 footlong subs, turns out it was a relative of sara's, haha!!

after the shopping we came back to my place, did some of our usual facebook spying, watch out for us! then since i am meeting my landlord at her place, we decided to try to find her house, boy i tell ya, i am not good at directions AT ALL!! but it was another fun adventure, i'm still not sure if we found it, but when we came back i got directions from my landlord and a new date, then my mom called me and i am just feeling so stressed, so it was good to chat it out with her, and then i just had my time with the Lord! i think it was the weather, it was SOOOOO cold, but its supposed to get nice out again, which is very HELPFUL!!! i think we did find the house, but the last number wasn't there, but the first three were right, sara and i are getting together tomorrow, so we will have another shot! haha!

plus the twins had an off day, and so i am excited for them to play tomorrow, against Boston, i hope they kick there butts!! YAH!!

YAH!!! TWINKIES WON!!!

the game was so much fun! i actually got up on schedule, and got ready, and then Lisa and I drove to the dome, we had to go around the dome though because of some traffic, so that was different.

we got parked, fairly cheaply and by the dome, and were there like an hour and half early, but we didn't care. we got our tickets, lisa had one of Joe, YAH for her! then we went to where we though our seats were, and we sat there until pretty close to the game starting, when we found out we were in the wrong section, so we had to move over a bit, but we were in the 8th ROW, which was FABULOUS!!! we watched the guys warm up, and I got some good pictures of Joe Nathan warming up!!

before the game started we got dome dogs, YUMMY!!! the game was great, we came from behind, which it always seems like we do, but it was fun! lisa and i always have fun at the dome, and i think she gets a kick out of how intense i am, and starting yelling at the umps, for being blind! WHOOPSIE!!!

after the game it took us FOREVER to get out of the parking ramp, and find where we were supposed to go!!! traffic lights in the cities are SOOO hidden, and since everyone was leaving at the same time, it was so CONGESTED!!!! AHHHH!! i hate driving in the cities!

then we finally got to maple grove and went to Famous Daves, YUMMY!! then we drove home, and while we did we jammed out to the backstreet boys! HAHA!

it was a great day! I am so glad we won, and we didn't get circled, but it was cool to be so close to the players, and to see Torii Hunter, who was with the opposite team, one of our signs we made is practically begging him to come back!!

great day!! when i came home, i chilled, and i am still doing that! LONG, but great day! have a great week, and wish me luck in my job search!! :)
