today is why I love my job!!!

Today was great, nice and slow; catch up time. It was nice because my boss talked to me, and asked for my opinion. I feel so included, its great!
One more day, and then DISNEY!!! YAH!! i am so excited, but so not ready. I have my suitcase and everything that is supposed to be in there, splattered all over my place! WHOOPS!!! haha!

i am so stinkin excited!! Not sure how I'm gonna get through work tomorrow!!!

What a fun weekend!!!

So it started out scrapbooking and celebrating Christmas with my girlfriends at Jill's house. So much fun, we did secret santa (which was a BLAST!) and then we watched movies and scrapbooked. and when I say we watched movies, we watched A LOT of movies, including: The Little Drummer Boy, Rudolph, Enchanted, Elf, and almost all of Mary Poppins. We did scrapbook, but I got such a bad headache Saturday night, so I just tried napping it off.

It was a lot of fun though. Then today was the Sommers family white elephant, which is always a good time!!! It was loud and crazy, but fun!!!

And now I am tired and getting ready to go to bed. And very excited for Florida!! we leave on Friday!! YAHOO!!!!!!!! So stinkin excited!!! :)

Did I miss any?? I LOVE Christmas!!!

I can HEAR!!!!!

Today was crazy! I woke up not able to hear out of my right ear, which was SCARY!!! I did end up going to work, and used my good ear, but then it got to be too much, and even this girl that HATES doctors went in, and got it checked out. Turns out it was just good o'le wax!!! ICKY!! so i had my right ear cleaned out, and the nurse was like "Do you wanna see?" I was like "Only if you want to see my lunch thrown up in here!!!" haha! but she was so great, I felt so bad that she had to do that, but she said it was her job, so nice!!!

But now my other ear is bothering me, what the heck? I feel as though I should've had them do the other ear too.

So that was my crazy day, I did get back to work, initially I thought "oh my gosh I just turned 27 and now I am going deaf!" i am such an overreactor!! HAHA!!!

I did continue with my mall walking, the very thing I made fun of for other people, and now I am them!! although I try not to be too intense and move my arms so emphatically!!! haha!!

Today was a great day!!

It was great because I got outta work early!! YAHOO!!! so then I did two COMPLETE laps around the mall, gotta be able to keep up with my dad at Disney, and then I went home and the plan was to surprise my folks, but they weren't home. BUMMER!!!!! but they did eventually show up, but it was funny because they actually went to my work to see me!! CRAZINESS!!

then dad and I did some more trip planning, which was SOOOOOO much fun too!!! CAN'T WAIT!!! 11 more days!! EEEKKK!!

Also excited about this weekend, as I am celebrating with my CM girlfriends and then with the Sommers family on Sunday!! YAHOO!! I love this time of year!! It is the most wonderful time of the year!!! :)

PS that last post doesn't mean I'm never gonna decorate for Christmas again, it just means I've got everything set up for this year!! FINALLY!!!

And it looks so great!!! LOVE IT!!!! today was a good day, started off kinda rough; because one of my roomates woke me up, on my only day to sleep in!! GRRR!!! but it was a nice and lazy Sunday, which was very needed. I did do some shopping, and am getting organized for Florida, so that's nice. Its coming up!!! YAH!!!

So things are good, now I am getting ready for bed, and excited for all my Christmas parties this coming weekend; including my girlfriends and then Sunday with the Sommers family!! Can't wait!!!

I am so glad that I don't wory anymore Saturday's until after Christmas, the mall is way too crazy!!!!

I'm soooooo excited! its not "official" yet, but it sounds like dad and I are going! I LOVE trips and going with my dad is so much fun!! hoping we make it to the Sears Tower (but not sure!) we shall see!!!

And the Christmas tree lighting was tonight! WAHOO!!! i so wanna go to NYC for a span of three months and include the Macy's parade, Rockefeller Tree lighting (and skate on the rink) and Times Square on New Years!!! Its on my bucket list!!!!

I just love traveling, and then scrapbooking the trip when I get home. Now I just gotta figure out how to get to the Sears Tower.

Its the most wonderful time of the year!

Rudolph aired tonight, which means Christmas is coming! I am SOOOOOOOO excited!! love this time of year! :)

no complaints, working a lot (just to off set not working at all during vacation) which trust me, I am TOTALLY fine with! I CANNOT WAIT FOR FLORIDA!! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!!!!! EEEEEKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!

What a great break!!

I'm kinda sad that its over, but my next extended time off is in a couple weeks, so I'm glad that something is going up so quickly!!! So today I met up with my old CM co-workers (Jill and Lisa) and we had lunch at Noodles and Company and then exchanged secret santa names, and I'm already shopping for my secret santa!! YAH! i can't say what I got, incase she reads this! haha!

Then it was a skating afternoon, which I LOVED!!! and just a chill weekend! I'm still trying to figure out how to decorate (not sure if I should use colorful lights or white lights!) ahhhh!!! i don't know!!! I am just so excited about everything that is coming up!!! YAH!!!!

Christmas Music started today!!

So while listening to Christmas music, I cleaned my shower, I vaccumed and I decorated for Christmas!! Love it!! I also did some more bible versus! i love that while I am all warm and cozy, everyone else was out on Black Friday shopping, CRAZINESS!!!!! I'm too wishy washy to buy something on a whim, I need to hum and haw over it FOREVER!! haha!!

This break has been SOOOO relaxing, its been so nice!!! And I'm meeting up with some buddies for lunch tomorrow to exchange secret santa names, and then probably going to go into work for a couple hours, if its crazy busy!!!! and then Church will be good, I need some classic worship time!!

And then Sunday is skating day!!! WAHOO!! what a great weekend!!!! I can't believe its almost December!! CRAZY!!!

I have many reasons to be thankful, but most of I am most thankful for my dad; he had Triple Bypass surgery in June, and is doing great!!! YAH!!!!! And he had a recent check up, just to put my mind at ease before we go to Disney, and everything looks great!!! WAHOO!!!

Can't wait for our trip!! Today was great, nice and relaxing; and we had pizza!! (I don't like turkey, I sure wish the Pilgrims discovered pizza in the first place!) haha!!

Good luck to all those who plan to shop tomorrow!!!! EEEKKK Black Friday! I only did it once, and it was just because my bestie dragged me with, it was fun; but I didn't really shop, it was more to help her find stuff!! haha!

It's my birthday!!!

Today was great. It actually started out very early with taking Jill to her surgery on her wrist. Ironic that she broke her wrist on her birthday (while we were celebrating her birthday) and that she had surgery on my birthday. It was very interesting to see how doctor and surgical centers worked out. I'm thinking about a new career venture, but we shall see. Prayers would be appreciated!
I can't believe I'm 27!! CRAZINESS!!! I feel so old, but yet so young; if that even makes sense!!! After helping Jill get home, I met up with Sara and we went to Mexican Village, for my free birthday meal, and then we went to see Breaking Dawn, which was good, but pretty bloody and gory!!! AHHH!!! i might have nightmares after that one!!

It was funny hanging out with Sara, and I got calls from my family; and I posted the cutest picture of me, my mom, and my sister a couple days after I was born!! it's so for cute!!! :)

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes!!!! Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow, I'm going to enjoy my pizza feast!!! Haha!

Today was a good day, and its nice that I just work tomorrow and have the rest of the week off. I might go in Saturday to help out, we shall see.

I talked to Jill today and she needs to have surgery on her wrist, which is so CRAZY! so i'm taking her in for her surgery and dropping her off at home; on my birthday!! I cannot believe this has happened on both of our birthdays! CRAZINESS! no matter roller skating for us!! :)

It sounds like she is going to be out of work for quite a while too, WOWZA!! who would've thought! just glad that the weekend was just here, and its coming back very, very soon!! YAH!! have a great night everyone!

birthday celebrations with the family!!

So much fun!!! my dad was in Chicago for the weekend, and called me and was like "I'm stuck in Chicago, and I'm gonna miss your party!" and I was like "Um, I have caller ID, so I know that you are calling from home!" and he was like "oh!" haha!! gotta love technology!!!

I didn't make it to church this morning, I was still freaking out about the roads, and our driveway wasn't plowed yet!! bummer! :(

It just so fun to hang out with the family, we had pizza and my mom made brownies, but she put applesauce in it, tell me who puts applesauce in brownies, WEIRD!!!

We also played Apples to Apples, which I love that game, and did some disney talkin', great times!!! I just love my family so much! I also got lots of cool stuff, I got money from my aunt, Breaking Dawn (the book) and Rudolph scrubs from my parents, trying to read Breaking Dawn before I go see it next week, and a cool frame with the lyrics of The Sound of Music, with my favorite colors: light pink and chocolate brown!!! My sister had someone make it for me, which I think is so cool!

Anyway, very fun birthday!!! Can't wait for the celebrations to continue!!! Its was fun to read through my baby book too! I love doing that! :)

today was an adventure, to say the least!!

So I went roller skating with Jill this afternoon, and we went for about 1/2 hour before Jill tripped by a kid who fell and she fell on her wrist, so we ended up going to the ER and she has a severly sprained wrist and needs to go to a bone specialist and get it taken care of. AHHH!! i feel so badly for her, its her really birthday today too!!

and it started to snow and hasn't stopped!! its crazy!!! so we decided to go eat quick at La Casita for her free meal, and church was even cancelled tonight, so I will see if I can get out of my driveway tomorrow morning, I think I might get stuck though!!!!

but it was a pretty crazy day today! excited to hang out with the family tomorrow though, so that will be fun!!!! good times with the Sommers family!!!

so today was pretty good, especially for not getting any sleep last night! GRRR!!! and i usually get nervous when I am the only one working but it was AWESOME!! and my dad came and said hi, he usually does when he drops my mom off at Savers (which is her favorite store!!!) haha!

and it was just good because I felt like one of the doctors and I were on the same page, and that I was speaking the language of the eye; and that felt really good! Its nice to not be the newest employee, and its awesome to feel like I am contributing and helping!! Go me!!

YAH!!! weekend is sooooooo close I can taste it!

love it when i have a great day!! it was weird too because someone came in to get her eyes checked with my same last name, and it isn't a common one and then we found out she married my dad's cousin!! SMALL WORLD!!!

its just been a good day; work was kind slow, which was good since I am still working on my "to do" list that I got yesterday!! haha!

and its getting closer to the weekend!! EEEKKK!!! i am so excited to celebrate my birthday with friends and family!! yeehaw!

What a difference a day makes!

Today was great!! it sure is easy to be positive when positive things happen!!! :)

it was nice and slow, so that gave all of us time to catch up on work stuff, which was good. and guess what tomorrow marks 30 days until Disney World!! YAH!!!!!!!!!!!! so excited! it sure helps to have something to look forward to!! :)

and very much looking forward to celebrating my birthday this weekend with friends and family. I think I like birthdays, but then I will probably despise them once I turn 30!! haha!

I didn't vaccum, the skating wasn't as awesome as it could've been, and my shopping didn't go well! arghhhhhh!!! sometimes I'm so exhausted, and cannot believe that its time for the work week to start up again. Why didn't God create a two day work week, and a 5 day weekend!! WHY??? come on man!!

but i do have quite a few days off around Thanksgiving, which will be nice; like my birthday, so it will be nice to just have down time. I hate even having a one day weekend, argh!!

well here's hoping everyone has a great week, and its almost my birthday. I cannot believe I'm going to be 27, I feel like I should have some wisdom to impart since I feel so old, but I don't! haha! nighty night!

Bed, Bath, and Beyond (looking for a Christmas gift, but can't say for who; in case she or is reading this!!!)
and do some bible reading
and watch skating
I so love to sleep in and chill!!!!

But now I feel like I am booked up from now until the end of January. Ready?

Church was SOOOOO great tonight. Worship was amazing, and it was a big crowd for a Saturday night, which was nice. Well I better get some sleep, so excited to sleep in, but hopefully get my goals done!! nighty night!!!

This week is dragging on, but today was SOOOOO fast!

Which is great!! plus we got our first snow last night, but nothing accumulating! I just LOVE this time of year, and work has been going okay so no complaints there, just excited for everything coming up, Christmas, Disney, Skating, my birthday (i'm going to be 27!!! AHHH!!!) just so happy!!!

its almost Friday (although I have to work Saturday, but I am just trying to help you guys out!) heehee!

Terrific Monday, which is not common!!!

so today was great, it wasn't too slow and wasn't too busy, which is always nice!!! i even got to leave early too! and I don't work until 1:00 tomorrow afternoon, so I get to SLEEP in!! WOOT WOOT!!! DWTS is going well, JR is my favorite to win, he's a war vet who burned his face and he was on a soap opera for awhile, and he is awesome! so positive, and such a great dancer!!!!

I just LOVE this time of year!! the mall is being decorated for Christmas, and I can't wait to see Disney decorated for Christmas too!!! and can't wait for Christmas music!!! WAHOO!!!

Sunday, SLOW, relaxing, and lazy!

So I'm just going to throw this out there, but I skipped church this morning. I feel so awful when I don't go. God asks for 1 , give or take, a week for us to go to his house of worship, and I wanted to catch up on sleep and I used every excuse in the book. I'm working 6 days next week, I just want to sleep in, I was at a wedding yesterday; blah, blah, blah! I am such a hypocrite. I get so annoyed when I hear other Christians swear, or go out and do stuff they know they shouldn't, and then I pull the same crap! I am so annoyed. this is the reason I go on saturday nights, but then I didn't because of my cousins wedding. ugh, I am so disapointed in myself.

That being said, because of this, I didn't really do much of anything. Which I am also annoyed with because I could've still gotten stuff done, but I choose not too! oh well! God loves us all no matter how stupid we are!! :)

so yeah I do work 6 days this week, which stinks, but in a couple weeks, during the week of Thanksgiving, I only work 2!! so yeah, and also looking forward to disney/Christmas. stores are already getting there Christmas stuff up, so YAH! and Target has a big Merry Christmas sign in the front of there store, yah for Target!!! hopefully they don't attempt to call them Holiday Trees, that was just stupid!!!

and also the skating season started today, which is always exciting!! i am so obsessed!!

I could use some prayers for a good week! i did write down some more bible verses, which I really like to do, so when I'm having a rough time I could pull open my bible to those verses, that I know will help me out!
well have a great week, hopefully its not as long as mine!!!! Think positively!!!

Sommers Family Wedding

Today was Andy's wedding, it was a lot of fun! we didn't stay long, which is unusual for us, but we still had fun. Good to see all the family, and it will be nice to see them at the White Elephant next month too, instead of just the typical once a year thing!!!

Good times with the Sommers family, now I'm just getting ready to "fall back"! YAH!! love when I get an extra hour of sleep!!

have a great rest of the weekend everyone! goals for tomorrow include more bible reading, a walk outside (still trying to walk outside, while its still nice out!) and hopefully scrub my shower clean, but I keep saying that one and never get around to it, so we shall see!!! :)

Today was AWESOME!! YAH! i love when i have a great day at work!! and then I was shopping at Target and Sara freaked the crap out of me, but it was fun; we then did some hint hint shopping, which is always fun.

Now I'm just ready to call it a night, since I gotta get up early tomorrow and get ready for the wedding, and then I'm probably going to go to my parents house and hang out with them for the rest of the weekend, which I am excited about!

so today rocked, the reason because I got to leave early! haha! it was nice and easy, and the new girl (melissa) who is so nice, started last week, and she came in today, which is always nice to have the extra help. I also really enjoy training, so its nice to be doing that again! (and not being the newbie!) while I got to leave early, so I went shopping and got a cute top for my cousins wedding this weekend. Hoping it matches my pants!!! and then I went for a walk at Lake George, I love walking in this weather (and I need to be able to keep up with the family at Disney) and I did the small loop twice! YAH! goooooooooooo me!!!

so it was nice to just chill out!! im pretty excited about andy's wedding this weekend, it will be nice to see the Sommers fam more than just at Christmas!! plus we haven't had a wedding in awhile, so it will be fun to hang out with everyone!!!

Today was a great day too, which is nice, especially for a monday!! no complaints, and lots of cute trick-or-treaters. Hope everyone had a great Halloween, and can't wait for Christmas!! YAH! can I start playing Christmas music yet??

Mission Accomplished!!

So today was great, I slept in; which is always appreciated, and I did pretty much everything on my list! YAH!

I went for a walk, at Lake George, which was good to get outside, and I did some bible reading. I am making an organized list of bible verses that I like, so that when I need them I can pull out my list and look them up. Very helpful, especially when I have a hard day, although it seems like whenever you open your bible God will direct you to what you need.

I didn't do any shopping, but I've got some ideas, and I work at the mall, so it won't be hard to get some stuff, and try on at home, and return stuff that doesn't work! but I do want to go full out, jewlery, shoes, make-up, hair the whole 9  yards. It will be fun to get all dolled up, and I'm excited about a Sommers family wedding, we haven't had one in awhile! plus I can then take the outfit to Florida, as we want to get a fancy dinner (and Sam want to as well, so that means Kevin will!) and then I will have something nice to wear for Christmas Eve! YAH! i am such a frugal person, that I feel like I need to justify my spending. Like I bought a tan skirt a couple years ago that was $40, so I made sure I got my full use out of it!! and I did!! but now I feel like I wear that to all the weddings I go to so its nice to change it up!

i also just relaxed, did some cleaning, and vaccumed and it was just a very enjoyable day! can't wait for the weekend!!

YEAH, its finally the weekend!!

So I usually get nervous about working on Saturday's because its usually insane, but today was really good. I mean there were moments when I felt like I was running a marathon. but it was a good day. Its always fun to work with Dr. Carie, she rocks!!

but it feels like lately I've just been in a hurry; rushing to work, rushing to church after work, rushing here, there, everywhere. AHHHH!!!!! so it will be nice to just relax tonight and tomorrow. but i am setting a goal to go for a walk, read parts of my bible (since I haven't picked it up in awhile) and maybe do some shopping for my cousins wedding next weekend, so we shall see what all gets done. I'll let you know tomorrow night.

Day off=Work Day!

So I slept in again, which is always appreciated! and then I basically cleaned, and threw in some relaxation. I meant to go for a walk, but I didn't; which I know feel guilty about! ughh!!!! and plus since its getting cold, I kind of feel like I'm going to become a "mall walker!!!" which is a good thing, I feel like I need to be able to keep up with my dad at Disney, so I'm incorporating more walking into my schedule, so then I get mad when I don't do it! GRRRRRR!!!!!

but today was good, got most of the basement vaccummed, which is good, because its almost time to decorate for Christmas! YAH! I LOVE this time of year!

my family rocks!

So I went home this afternoon, and it was so much fun. I love my family we are all crazy weird. even kevy was in a good mood, which is hard to come by (especially on sundays when its sports day!)

dad and I did some trip planning, so 3 full days in a row at Disney adds up to 46 hours!! YAHOO!!! i LOVE it!

but my family is so funny, its always great to go home and hang out with them. I love that I am close enough to hang out with them when I feel like it, yet far enough that if I wanna get away, I can too! haha!
Here's hoping we all have a good week, at least I get wednesday off, which will be very nice! nighty night!

Today was FABULOUS!! nice, lazy Saturday!

i SLEPT in, and by slept, I mean really slept, which was SOOOO needed. I felt like I needed it to recharge my batteries. After that, some skating was on TV, so that's always nice, and then it was church time. Church was so great tonight, it was basically an open mike testimony time, to which I always think "I'm not going up there" and "stop crying all the time" well I didn't go up, but I bawled like a baby, its so great to hear other peoples testimonies! love it!
after church my girlfriend showed up, so that was nice to play catch up, and feel like I have a buddy at church. My friends at church are pretty much my parents friends from my home church, so its nice to be brave enough to connect with someone my age; although she showed up an hour late because she forgot about the service time change! haha!

so it was a good night, and then I got some pizza, and the weather outside was BEAUTIFUL! i am starting to walk a couple times a week, unfortunately because I slept in, I didnt get a chance too today, but I think I am going to go hang out with my parents tomorrow, so it would be nice to make time to go out to the back of the woods. Someone's testimony at church tonight talked about where you feel most connected with the Lord, do you have a certain spot, and I immediately thought of my parents back woods, its so calm and peaceful, I hope I get a chance to get out there tomorrow, it would be nice to take my bible, since I haven't been reading it as much as I used too, since I'm still scared of Revelation, and I hate skipping around in the bible. AHHHH!!! so my goal is to walk tomorrow, and read some bible verses, I'm starting to write down my favorites, so that way I have something to remember to look up, when I need too!

I'll have to post some here too! good reminder!! :)

Today was pretty rough, not gonna lie!! but i got through it, and now I've got the weekend to relax and regroup!! HOORAY!!

Wow, what a day!

It was both good and bad, not like overwhelmingly bad, but just LONG and short, if that makes any sense. It's MEA weekend, so I will be very excited when the kids are back in school. I'll just leave it at that, but I am pretty happy that the day is over and the weekend is quickly coming!! YAH! and very glad about how I'm taking it very well, which I am very excited about, before it just felt like "Oh great, a crappy day at work" now it feels like, sure it wasn't a great day, but tomorrow will be better (or in this case, tomorrow will be great since its Friday!) HOORAY!

Today was GREAT! nice and relaxing, but I wasn't a total couch potato

I also went for a walk, and I think I went fast because its getting cold out, guess I'm gonna have to be a mall walker this winter! haha!
But today was great, slept in, watched some tv, and got laundry done. nice and relaxing; probably because one of my louder roomates was gone! :)

I feel like this is going to be a good week, so hopefully it is for you guys as well!

Sleepover with the bestie

was so much fun! we met on Friday night at Pizza Ranch and then afterward did some shopping, and then we went back to her place and watched movies and hung out. We watched Spice World (Girl power!) and Tangled, which were both so good.

Then today we went for a jog/run/skip/walk which was so nice, I told her to kick my butt, and she kinda did!!! OUCH! but it was fun!

then I went to church, and now its chill time. nice to have a long weekend and have time to myself and time with others.

Good times and great oldies, cool 108!!!! have a great rest of the weekend everyone! :)

Yipee! today was a great day too, which is always helpful! after work I went to Jill's since she wanted to hang out for a bit, so that was fun, and now I'm just hanging out at home until Sara gets off work and then we are going to have a sleepover, which I am so excited about! Good times!

Wow,the week is still going good!

today was SOOOOO great, and exactly what the doctor ordered

It was just very relaxing, I did some cleaning and laundry; and afterwards proceeded to spill juice on my jeans, so annoyed! but anyway it was a good relaxing day.

also got together with Lisa and we went out for lunch, so that was fun too! its so hard to stay connected with old co-workers, which is worrying me about Betty, but I get together alot with Lisa and Jill, so that's always nice.

Well prayers would defintely be appreciated for this week, as we get used to be one man short! Thanks!

Saturday with my favorite Doctor!

YAH dr. watson was in town filling in today, I love when she's here, so is so great! so it was a good day, it was busy, but it wasn't "I am going to kill myself busy" so that was nice!

after work I went straight to church, which was great. I love WORSHIP!! such a great thing, and after the stressful week I had, it was just nice to sing to the Lord. The worship leader brought up a good point, and said that an older guy that went to his home church had a pretty bad voice, and would always apologize for his voice, and the worship leader was like "God doesn't care if you can sing or not" which I thought was great, because I always think people with bad voices shouldn't sing so loudly, including me, but that is just ridiculous!

and now I am just chillin, looking forward to a day off, and nothing major planned, just lunch with a friend, which will be fun; and hopefully I can get some cleaning done, my place needs it, BADLY!! haha! have a great night!

What a great day!

So today was awesome, nice and slow; a chance to catch my breath, which was very nice! I also got to leave early, so I went for a walk at Munsinger Garden, and its just so pretty there, and this weather is AWESOME!! beautiful! I am just so happy, and crossing my fingers for a good day tomorrow, even though I hate working Saturday's, I'm exciting that Dr. Watson is going to be in! YAH!

I feel so good, right now! Hoping for a nice easy day tomorrow, and then a relaxing day off on Sunday, and I am not planning to do anything! WAHOO!

The Tigers beat the Yankees!!

AHHHH!!!! I so wanted the Yankees to go home crying, which they did; I sure wish the Twins could do that though, ya know?? I get so annoyed that we can never beat them, and this year we stunk, but I still love 'em, and know that next year will be better. is it next year yet? Although now that baseball is over, who cares about who wins the world series, since the Yankees are out of it!! WAHOO!! so now skating starts, and you know me, I still watch all my old skating tapes, which is so much fun. I think I like doing that because there are so many things in skating, that you can miss in a single performance, and its fun to reminisce and try to remember where I was when Michelle Kwan one her 6th national title, or how much fun Stars on Ice was in 2001, etc. Just fun memories!

Night!

Life has been so CRAZY lately!

and I mean CRAZY!! so yesterday I was "on call" which is code for "we only have one person working, can you be around just in case" which stinks, but I got a call in the afternoon and was like "oh great, I'm heading into work" well it was Betty and she said she got a job offer for a new job for the next day, which freaked me out, because 1. I love Betty 2. That means we are SUPER short staffed, I mean we are SUPER short staffed when we only have 3 full timers, and the other full timer is dealing with family health problems, hubby cancer and chemo, daughter pneumonia! AHHH!!!! instantly I started to cry and called my mom, I was supposed to go over there for a spaghetti supper, but I was just instantly thinking Oh my gosh I'm going to have to cover for Betty, so I will probably be working a million hours, and so I'm crying and scared, and worried. I'm such a worrier, which I hate. So then work today I was expecting it to just be me and Dr. Stotesbery, when Beth came in and saved the day, one with all the family stuff, oh sweet RELIEF!!! so we worked out Betty's shifts, and today was slow, which was very needed, and I feel so much better, and then I feel like such a doubting Thomas, you know how Thomas just has to see Jesus' hands after he was crucified, just to make sure it really was Jesus, and I just feel like Jesus is saying to me "Kristin, will I ever let you down, would I ever give you more than you can handle" wow, he is so amazing, I feel awful. I'm still sad about Betty, but glad that she is moving onto something else.

And this just happened in the past day, AHHH!!! I haven't even filled you in on everything else, which I plan to on my day off Sunday! I just want to RELAX and be by myself, I feel so exhausted! I've never felt this stressed before. Boy do I sure understand my dad's feelings of when we were little and him wanting to just sit on the couch and destress, and I was always so annoyed that I had to do dishes instead of him, my thought process was that he got to get paid to sit around and do nothing, while I'm not paid to go to school and learn. Boy was i WRONG, so very wrong!! the work world is SOOOOOO crazy! AHHH!!

I cannot wait to just sleep in!! Please pray for me, I could really use it!

and Dancing with the Stars was SOOOOOO good, lots of great dances tonight! I absolutely love Carson Kressley, he is SOOOOOO cute!! and hilarious!

well I have Wednesday off, so I will defintely update you guys on what has been going on in my life lately, but it is nice to have a laptop and be able to do that!!!

Sorry its been so long!

Things have been good! I just have a bad computer, so its in the shop, and I'm at my parents house right now. I am getting ready to road trip to Wisconsin for a family friend's wedding! FUN times, I hope!

Well I should really try to get some sleep, although it will be nice to sleep in the car! As soon as I get my computer back, expect more updates! :)

Love when its slow and stress free! After work I went to church and it was about diving into the bible, it was like God was sending me a message to not give up reading, because I will understand more and more as I read it more. So gotta keep chugging away, I've been kind of worried to read it because I'm in Revelation, but its so confusing! so hopefully I can keep going. Its cool to say though that I've almost read the whole bible twice. I just love how a certain message is directed right at you, its crazy! like "I get it God, thanks!"

and dad's doing good, but Jackie's roomate Des was in a car accident and broke her pelvis in 5 places, OUCH! so please pray for her. its crazy how much my summer has been about medical things!

I'm just excited to go home and hang out with the family tomorrow, and I have monday off too! WOOT WOOT! well have a great weekend!

Happy 4th of July!!!

The fun weekend continues!!! :)

So yesterday was spent at the pool, and some of my dad's relatives came up to hang out which is always fun!!

After the swimming, we had family movie night, which was fun! We watched Taken and Toy Story 3.

Then today we went to the Twins game, which was so much fun, and we kicked there butts 7-0!!! YAH!!!! Danny Valencia hit a 3 run bomb, which made Sam happy. I love that she likes him so much!! Her and my brother are so cute together!

After the game we came home and swam some more, and I was hoping my dad would want to check out the fireworks, but he wasn't feeling up to it, BUMMER! but he seems to be doing better day by day, so that is great! :)

Have a great 4th, and please remember the true reason for this holiday, because of all the brave men and women fighting for our freedom!! GO USA!

Its the 4th of July weekend! YAH!

Today was so much fun, I hung out at the house with the family and Sam! and we swam and got sunburnt (okay, that was just me!) but it was so much fun!! :)

Then the craziest thing happened, I went to church tonight (not crazy, since i go on Saturday nights!) and we had an open mike type sermon where you could go up and share prayer requests, praises, anything, and I was the first one up to share about my dad, it was crazy. I never do this type of thing, and to be the first one up, that was CRAZIER yet! Of course I cried, but it felt good to get it off my chest, because I think dad feels like I'm hindering him, so when I go home, I try to make a point of swimming and getting out of his way!! :)

But he did so great today! He has these really ugly yellow socks, and he calls them his booties, which is so cute! I just want this whole thing to be over with, and I know his recovery is really just beginning!!! AHHHH!!!

Fuzzy, our neighbor died

He was such a great guy. I am so bummed. He always came over, and he was HILARIOUS!! so many funny jokes and stories. My sister and I went to the wake tonight, and I could tell my dad was bummed that he couldn't make it.

We're gonna miss you Fuzzy! (we'll have to name our next animal after him; trust me, he would think that was funny!)

Most recently I can recall spying on the neighbor with him! haha! :)

Day 2 of recovery!

YAH DADDY!! He's doing so great! I love him so much! I cannot believe I haven't updated my blog, I've been updated FB like crazy! Dad is doing great! He made it through surgery, and we saw him right after, which I'm not going to lie, was hard!!! But he's getting back to his usual self!!

I am wanting to write a book about this, from my perspective, and share it with Dad and maybe others that have family going through this, to prepare them. I am thinking of calling it The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly of Triple Bypass Surgery, although dad thought a good name would be Triple Bypass Surgery: The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly! I think I like his title better! :)

Happy Father's day to my da-da!!

I love him so much!!! His surgery is going to be on Wednesday, and his birthday is on Thursday. ICK!

But we had fun today, and then we all prayed around dad, so that was really nice. It makes me feel better, and I got the day off, so I can be with my family! PRAISE the LORD! :)

Triple Bypass Surgery

Now we know the diagnosis, and I have never done so much free research. This is concerning my dad, by the way.

I am so sad, nervous, scared, and just want him to get through the surgery and be ready for Florida in December. He's been planning this for so long, and his doctors are so optomistic because he walks alot and he's healthy. Which brings me to another point, its time to get myself healthy. Heart problems are very hereditary, so this means we need to get cracking on all of us being healthy. So gooooooooooooo team healthy!!

What a week, happy and sad; good and bad.

The happy is that its finally the weekend, the sad was Harmon Killebrew's Memorial Service, the good is that its FINALLY the weekend, and the bad were a couple of bad work days in between. The week started out really well at work, and then towards the end it went a bit south, but today was a great day. I really like when the last day I work is great, and then I can just have a chill weekend, and this weekend is a long one! WHOO HOO!!!

I hung out with Sara tonight, since her bday is on Sunday, and then tomorrow I am going to mom and dad's and dog sitting, since they are going to the Indy race, so I just intend to sit around and do nothing, but breathe. I hope that doesn't sound pathetic, because I'm pretty excited. I just want to relive my childhood, it feels like when I was a kid, I just wanted to be an adult, and now that I'm an adult, I just want to be a kid! AHHH!!!

So it will be nice to be in Kimball, and I wanna walk around, take pictures for my cousin who hasn't been to the family farm in awhile, and pick lilac's, I can just smell them now! YAH!

Killebrew's funeral was on broadcast locally on Friday

And it was so hard to watch. I was blubbering like a baby. i so wish I had put in the effort to meet this Twins legend. I had lots of chances. So many people said such amazing things about him. We're gonna miss you Killer!

I so wish I could go to the memorial service at Target Field on Thursday, but I have to work! :(

It was so special to see Morneau, Cuddyer, Nathan, Gardy and other Twins legends as pallbearers. So sad. We truly lost not just a HOF baseball player, but a true gentleman.

The MN Twins community lost a legend today

Harmon Killebrew aka "Killer" died today from cancer. I found out about it from my boss, and was so sad. My dad said that when he announced last week that he was going into hospice care that he knew it wouldn't be long, which is so sad.

Please pray for there whole family. I'm watching lots of coverage on it, and its just so sad. RIP Killer!! We will miss you! :)

DWTS Update

Oh my goodness, Hines and Kym had a HORRIBLE accident and they showed it, and it was AWFUL. his weight went on the back of her neck, and it looked so scary, but she's okay and he started to cry at the end of the dance, it was AMAZING! I so don't know who I am rooting for now, I love them all!! AHHH!!!

Wow, life has been crazy!

Let's see, I feel like all I do is work, work, and more work! by the time Friday comes around I am just beat! :)

We had our last bible study on Wednesday in Monticello at Perkins, and met Britney there, so that was good!! I think we are going to start something again soon, hopefully!

on Friday after work I went to Sara's and we had planned to go for a walk/run/jog, but with the weather we ended up just hanging out, which was fun!

Yesterday I did absolutely nothing, except Church, and it was so nice and relaxing! :)

and then today we celebrated mother's day at the farm, which was so much fun! playing games and grilling! the sad thing though, are my darn Twins, they are just not playing well, which worries me, but I am hopeful that we can get all our guys healthy and battle away! speaking of battling, Harmon Killebrew is not doing very well, he is in hospice, which is so sad. Praying for him and his family.

Tomorrow at work we are raising our prices, so I am really nervous about that, hopefully it goes over okay, since I know some people will be upset! please pray!

and next weekend I'm going to Jill's to scrapbook and then the next weekend I am dog sitting at my parents house!!! FREEDOM! well have a great week everyone! :)

work was really great today! WOOT WOOT!! :)

after that i went to the library, even though I should not be getting more books, because then I don't sleep! :)

and then i came home to watch the Twins game and DWTS, and turns out big rain/hail storms delayed the Twins game, and DWTS went to local weather reports! AHHH!! i hate that, tell people to go there basements, and then go back to the show, instead i missed out, but found out that Romeo was eliminated, which is fine by me, he was the next one that needed to go!

the twins just lost, badly! I'm getting really worried about my boys! :(

wow, what a day! tired; so I'm going to bed! tomorrow night meeting my bible study girls in Monticello for dinner and our last meeting! until next time though, I hope!

Wow, things have been so crazy lately!

Good and bad things! I don't even know where to start. Work was going well in the middle of the week, and then you have one bad day and it stinks! had a couple every other day off from work, so that was nice. I've been reading alot, which means no sleep!! haha!

I just had my Saturday rotation yesterday, so its nice that that is out of the way now! And it is mothers day today, but we are celebrating next sunday since my sister had something going on today! But my mom is AMAZING!!! and she is the best mom!! Its the truth! i have the best parents! The twins are going so-so, mostly okay! I just want all our guys to get healthy, if another player goes on the DL, i'm gonna go crazy! we just called up a new short stop and he's really cute, Trevor Plouffe! haha!

I'm looking forward to next weekend, relaxing and hanging out with the family! hopefully Sara and I can get together and go for another run/jog/walk! haha! :)

Royal Wedding

Today was the wedding of Kate and Will, and it was so beautiful! I love weddings, but because of the time difference, I knew I wouldn't be up for this, but Sara taped it and we watched it when I went over to her house tonight.

Work stunk, but that's okay because I'm off until Monday! WOOT WOOT!

After work Sara and I met up at Perkins and hung out, then we actually went for a walk/run (yes, I said run!) it was actually really fun!! LOVED IT! I love saying that I went running with my bestie!

There is a playground across the street, so we swung on the swings! that was really fun too, and then we watched wedding coverage!! Good times! Kate looked so beautiful, and the prince so handsome!!!

Now its the weekend, looking forward to scrapbooking and some much needed R and R! I sure wish I had good news about the Twins, but now we are 8 games back, but its still April! Even though for 2 more days, but I hope we can get our acts together and kick butt! come on boys! nighty night! :)

just excited about the weekend, hanging out with Sara, and doing some scrapbooking and hoping to get some R and R in there too!!! I went to the library earlier this week, and with this crappy rainy weather, its been the perfect "book" weather!! :)

Easter Weekend

What an awesome weekend! I just had so much fun with my family! if you burn a million calories by laughing, then I just did in the span of two days! :)

Let's see I got to sleep in on Saturday morning, which didn't really happen since I had to get up and go to the bathroom, and then I never got back to sleep! Grrrr!! :)

then I just hung out and watched the Twins clobber Cleveland, of course! Went to the wrong game, on the wrong date! :)

after that I went home and we attempted to watch Dawn Treader, but then Sam and Kevin came home and we watched The Promise, which is a great video of the depiction of Christ, and we all love it! It was just nice to look around at my family and know that we all believe in Jesus, such a great feeling! we all love the songs too! :)

after that we played cards, which is always fun! great times were had at the Sommers household this weekend. I got such a headache from laughing so hard! :)

this morning came way to quickly though, but church was so good! sang a bunch of my favorites. Christ the Lord has Risen today, Hallejuah!! We had to sit up front though because my brother and Sam didn't save us any spots, so that was really weird!

After the service we had breakfast, cortesy of the youth group, which always brings me back to my days doing Easter breakfast. and it was yummy too! we then went home and watched the Twins win, played more cards, and discussed our Florida trip in December, which i am so excited about! YEE HA!!!! :)

I am so blessed to be a Sommers girl, such a great weekend! I feel like last year was the start of my 'so called depression' but life has been so great lately, Thank you God!

Twins Rain Out Game, and guess who was there to witness it!!

ME! of course! It was raining all day, and I was just nervous that it would get called, but my dad, Sara, and I drove all the way there and then about 5 minutes after we got to the stadium, they called the game! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!! so annoyed!

And now the Twins are playing today and kicking butt, and I wish that I was there. I'm so sad. but it was still nice to see Target Field and get a hot dog and walk around! but so sad, they said they are going to reschedule in July, which will be nicer weather and hopefully Mauer will be back by then. Cuz I have a really bad track record of going to my first game of the season and Joe being on the DL, so there's good and bad.

And don't get me wrong, I am so glad the Twins are kicking butt, and they've scored double digit runs for the first time this season, so hopefully we can get going on all cylinders!! YAH!

At least we didn't drive 260 miles, like another group did to get to the game, so that was good! :)

Weekend Update

Life is good, now if I could just not work ever again!! just kidding, I've been there and done that, and its not great! :) but this weekend was AWESOME! I went to my friends house and we scrapbooked and watched movies. Probably more of the movies than scrapbooking, like Sleepless in Seattle and The Cutting Edge! TOE PICK! haha! :) and church was really great too! they did communion differently, by having people go up to the front, or the back and getting a piece of bread and dipping it into the grape juice, and when you did that, the person at the station, said something along the lines of you are forgiven; is that horrible that I forgot the exact words?!?! but it was really a great thing!! So things are good! I am excited for the twins game next Friday, even though its on Good Friday, is that horrible that I'm going?? Plus the twins finally won a game, but I am not giving up on them. Just found out that the 1991 Twins had the same bad record at the beginning of the season and then they ended up winning the World Series that year, plus its been 20 years since, so I think its a good sign! Joe's doing better, they said leg problems and then the flu, but just bummed that he won't be playing next Friday! BUMMER!! and joe nathan has stepped down from the closer position, which is really sad, and really nice of him to do it himself. I'm telling ya the Twins are a classy group of guys! I just hope he gets his mojo back!! well have a great week everyone! Bye! :)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, say it ain't so JOE!

Joe's on the DL! This just is so crushing! I am going to the game next Friday, and for the second year in a row he won't be at my Twins game!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! plus I think i did this to him myself cuz at work we were just talking about how glad I was that Joe wasn't on the disabled list. GROAN!!!! and today was such a good day, until I focused on the Twins. Pavano pitched 8 shutout innings, and then Joe Nathan and Matt Capps both blew the save, and we lose in extra innings. It hurts to be a Twins fan right now, but I still love them and know we can come back from this! COME ON BOYS! at least I have a weekend of scrapbooking again!! YAH! :)

and a great day was had! not too busy at work, the Twins come back in extra innings to win! I actually ran into Sara at a stoplight, and she was yelling at me through her window and we talked for a bit and decided to go for a walk, so that was fun! My sister and I were also talking about how our dad put us to bed, by sometimes making it sound like he was walking downstairs, and then he would creep back upstairs and scare us!! SO scary! and then in the mornings he would sometime have to bark to get me up KRISTIN! that sure made my heart race! haha! Also talked to my cousin Lyn and she and her sister and her mom might be coming to Kimball for a visit, which would be so much fun! and the weather is nice out too! YAH! can't wait to scrapbook with Jill this weekend too! :)

Wow, so life has been crazy lately!

I got sick last week on my day off! ICKY!! i hate throwing up!! The Twins haven't been playing very well, which is sad. I am trying not to worry, but its hard cuz they started so well last year!! AHHH!!! I had to work on Saturday, which actually went really well, and it was kind of slow and I got to leave early! YAH! next weekend I'm scrapbooking with Jill, and then the next weekend is Easter!! Yah time with my awesome family! :) Will continue to update you on my crazy life!

Today sucked! i hate April Fools Day!

the twins bombed the opener! YUCKY! i am still sick, work was awful and I am going to bed! EXHAUSTED!

Excellent day, and almost the weekend!!

So i've been working shorter shifts lately, but today I started to get them back, which was kinda weird, but good! Betty and I had so much fun at work, fun to just laugh!!!! :) Lots going on in April!!! Starting on the 1st (tomorrow) with the Twins season starting, YAH!!! can't wait! i plan to wear my Twins Scrubs!! And then I'm going to the twins game on the 19th, and Easter, and work was just great!! fun times! and the weekend is OH SO CLOSE!!!! and then I read my bible and this part just jumped out at me, "Don't STUDY the bible, Do what it says!" which to me means to not just read it, but to put it into action!!! Coolio!! Good times, and great oldies! kool 108!!! :) Later!! :)

fun and RELAXING weekend!!

it was very low key, but fun! I went home and hung out with the family, and slept over! i love staying there, even though my old bed is so uncomfortable, its such a comfort to just be in my childhood home!!! Then I find out Kevin wants to come to my church on Saturday night, and so it was fun to have him and Sam there. We then went out for supper too, I crashed date night, but it was alot of fun!!!! Good times! Now i am just chillin, but I sure wish there were more hours in the day, especially during the weekend!! And my frout hurts! OWIE!!! i hope its better tomorrow!

Guess what time it is, SKATING time!

as most of you know, my obsession with figure skating started about 14ish years ago, and everytime the skating season ends, which is now; I rewatch all my skating tapes!! which brings me back, and its so fun to do!! so yah!!!

just an about me lately, good weekend! very relaxing, I went to lunch with Lisa yesterday and then we went to Crafts Direct, and then today was just a chill day, which was VERY needed!!! so excited that the twins season is going to start soon, which is so nice that it starts when skating ends and vice versa!! hooray!! :)

Its almost Friday!! woot woot!

I started posting videos and my Stars on Ice review, but it won't copy and paste, and I don't want to retype it, so I might try emailing it to my parents and doing it there? we shall see. Now I am posting videos on youtube.com, check out joemauerlover and you can see my videos! I have been so focused on skating that its crazy to think baseball starts soon. Joe Mauer played in his first spring training game! YAH!!!! can't wait for baseball, love how skating starts when baseball ends and vice versa!!

I've been working short days at work, which have been going well; although when I get my paycheck I'll probably hate it!! haha! excited to just chill this weekend, and add more skating videos!! its almost Friday! and getting lunch with Lisa at Famous Daves on Saturday, which usually means that its baseball connected, cuz we always go there on the way home from Twins events! haha! I guess we are celebrating the start of Twins baseball! :)

Skating Weekend Part 2: even more FANTASTIC!!

Stars on Ice was AWESOME!! so many great things, that I will talk about later. I always write up a review, in fact while writing about it on the way home, I found last years review! haha! and it was a million times better than last year!

Also saw Kristi again!! haha! too bad we didn't become besties!! :)

Katia, Jamie and David, Sasha, Kurt, Tanith and Ben, Michael, everyone was a highlight!! promise more details when I catch up on sleep!!

Skating weekend part 1= FANTASTIC!!

so I got to Jackie's last night and she wanted me to watch the movie Inception, which is CRAZY!! and so confusing, but actually pretty good; if that makes sense!! haha!

Then we went to bed in her SUPER comfy bed and woke up this morning to go meet Kristi! I was so nervous, and then the roads were kind of icy and we actually spun on the road. scary! I asked Jackie who was driving "What should we do?" and she was like "Duh, we turn around!" haha!

she then dropped me off at the bookstore The Red Balloon Shop which is a kids book store (Kristi's childrens book is called Dream Big, Little Pig). I got there at 10:00 and she was going to do a reading of her book and answer questions at 10:30 and so we all just waited around and all of the sudden, there she was! she is so cute and tiny. She was wearing black and purple. I just was in shock that we were in the same room. She read the book, which is so cute, and then answered some questions. I asked her if she still skates, and she said not really, but she does miss it! hopefully she skates next year.

Then we proceeded to get called by number to get meet her and get her autograph. I was number 13, so I was up there right away. She was so nice, I did talk to her and told her it was so great to meet her. She was super nice and signed my skating picture that I had brought. I then sat down and just watched her autograph and meet other people. I was just in awe, here is my favorite skater (or one of my favorites!) and we are in the same room together. She did mention to someone that she was going to a St. Thomas hockey game that night for nephew, since her husband is from the twin cities, and I so wanted to go!! haha! :)

after meeting Kristi, I met up with my sister and she took me out for lunch at this yummy pizza place, and then we visited with my uncle for a bit who lives near by, and then I drove home. What a cool event. and what's even better is that she is going to be at Stars on Ice tomorrow signing autographs before the show and during intermission, cool right?? I get to see her two days in a row! :)

Can't wait for Stars on Ice tomorrow, its going to be awesome!! :)

Now i just gotta get through tomorrow!! WOOT WOOT!!

and its just in the morning!! YAH! can't wait to have a weekend of and meet Kristi Yamaguchi! my dad found her picture and I bought a special sharpie marker for her to sign it! i am so nervous, plus my sister has some fun stuff for us to do too! I cannot wait!! YAH!!!!!!!! eeekkkk!!! is it Friday afternoon yet???

last night bible study was great, I really love this group!! good times! :)

Wow, the good days keep coming!!

YAH! Justin Morneau made his debut since his concussion last July! YAH! he got a double too!! WAHOO!! hopefully he can stay well the whole season and help the Twins win the world series! 2011 World Champion Minnesota Twins!! I've got a good feeling!

can't wait for this weekend, Kristi posted that she is going to be at my SOI show signing her book! So yeah I get to see her two days in a row, cool right!! Cannot wait, is it the weekend yet???!!!!

What a great, Lazy Sunday!

It was defintely needed, and of course it snowed! i am so sick of this weather, but I did get lots of cleaning done, as pathetic as that sounds, my place needed a good cleaning! its always nice when you finish and feel like you didn't waste the whole day!

but i just cannot wait for this weekend, its such a skating weekend! meeting Kristi on Saturday morning, and hoping that I actually say something to her, and then Stars on Ice on Sunday, which I am so excited about, the show this year has alot of my favorites in it including Katia Gordeeva, Sasha Cohen, Jamie Sale and David Pelletier, Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto, and Kurt Browning. Too bad Scottie Hamilton isn't feeling well, but he is going to be at the show hosting, so that will be fun to see! I AM SOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!! will post many, many videos when I get home! just hoping this week goes by quickly!

Wow, this crazy week is finally over!

but it was defintely a great week!! its just that i worked 6 straight days! AHHHH!!!!

i just want to update you on all that is going on with me, so at work our manager has been gone because she had surgery, so its basically been me and Betty in charge, which can get stressful, but it feels like this week has been amazing. YAH God! Thank you for helping us out! i worked today (a saturday) and it was stress free, which has never been the case, it was SOOOO nice! i just wanted to scream with delight!! :) it also feels good because I'm very dependable on our manager, but with her gone, I think I really bonded with Dr. Pearson, which is very good news! I think its weird for me because he has all little boys, and he works with all girls! haha! you do the math! :)

anyway, just wanted to start updating you guys on the cool things happening with me. Last weekend we celebrated Samantha's bday (brothers girlfriend) which was kind of a big deal because this was the first "Sommers bday party" we had for an "outsider!" but it was so much fun! we played card games and just hung out. we played this game called Krebs, where you partner off and then you have to get 4 of a kind and come up with a signal for your partner to yell "KREBS" before someone else gets 4 of a kind, kind of hard to explain but so much fun! my partner was jackie, and needless to say we got our signals crossed, and then it was like "What the heck was our signal again?" haha!!

and it was just nice to have mom and dad home from Florida, it was so sad that i didn't go this year, but we are all going in December, so that will be fun!!

and my bible study is going well in Kimball, and I am just so excited that I've found one where I'm comfortable and its a great group of girls! good book study too!

after the bible study I go to my parents house, and I actually bought tickets to meet Kristi Yamaguchi at a book signing in the cities for next weekend, so I'm going to jackie's and then meeting Kristi on saturday morning, I am so excited, but so nervous; and I can't find the picture I want her to autograph! GRRRRR!!!! i hope i find it before next weekend!

I will update you guys on more stuff later, I have just been chillin and I really need to clean my place! YUCK! updates later tomorrow, YAH I get to sleep in! :)

Scrapbooking with my girlfriends=FUN!

we had such a blast, it was different because we did it at mom and dad's, since they are in florida! which they've called a hand full of times to rub in the fact that its so nice there! AHHH!!! but we had a blast, i actually got a lot done, and we watched some movies. kevin can be so nice when he wants to be, I wish he was like that all the time.

We also watched an old movie, called My Girl! such a good movie! watching the sequel next time!! and now we are getting hit with all this snow, and I was thinking that winter was over! GRRRRR!!!

well at least mom and dad get home soon! :)

things have been okay, just busy! I am so sorry that I always say I will update you on things, and then I never do! SORRY!!! I am in love with The Office, i LOVE dwight and michael, and Jim and Pam!!! great show, how come i only discover this stuff after its been around for awhile! whoops!

well i am kinda bummed because its that time of year to go to FLorida, but I'm not going this year, i am sad, but it will be fun to scrapbook with my girlfriends at my parents house! YAH! good times!

Twinsfest 2011

It was okay, but it would've been better if it was at the Dome, like it normally is. But instead there was that cave in!!

Anyway highlights were defintely Joe Mauer!! but I am desperately in need of some sleep, but I will fill you guys in on everything! check my facebook page for pictures, maybe by Tuesday?? we shall see! :)

Today was a much needed Fantastic day!

it started with popping in an old Christian CD that brought back alot of fun memories of my youth group!! and today was slow at work, which was very relaxing! :)

Its nice to be able to breathe!

the sad part was that I lost a mitten that I got for Christmas. I cannot keep track of mittens and socks. its like i need the little kid clips to keep them attached to me. I hope they wind up in a lost and found bin at work! keep fingers crossed!

What a crazy weekend!

so it started on Friday with having to cover another girls shift, which I didn't mind, I just was kind of like Grrrr, because I was so excited about my Christmas weekend with Sara, but working all day Friday and with the craziness of the week, and the bad weather (I am so so sick of the snow) and then I got a headache, so I went home and literally went to bed at 8:30. so Sara and I hung out Saturday morning (Crazy, that I was up that early!) into sunday afternoon, and we had so much fun. We exchanged gifts, I got lots of Rudolph stuff, and then we went to Space Aliens for lunch, YUMMY! and we played games and we combined our tickets and got a deck of cards and a pencil! haha!

after that we did some shopping, i actually got a pair of jeans! CRAZY huh! i haven't gone shopping for me in awhile, so that was fun!

and then we went back to Sara's and played WII WII, which is always fun! I went to church, but thne came back and we played more games and watched Rudolph, I LOVE that movie! We then got ready for bed and then proceeded to stay up, weird right?

but then this morning we watched Elf, Sara's pick (we each pick a Christmas movie to watch; I always pick Rudolph!) and played more games and then I came home.

It was nice to come home and have some down time, its like I need my "me" time, wow I wonder what I will be like when I become a mom and lose all me time! haha! Oh well, probably something I won't have to worry about for awhile! I better get some sleep though, I am EXHAUSTED!!

Wow, what a bad day!

kind of reminds me of a book I read as a kid of the Little sister series from the Baby Sitters Club and Karen explains her bad day, well here was mine:

My showerhead cracked, so I was trying to wash my hair and needless to say it didn't work out so well, and the worse news I just had my landlord fix the clog in my shower, and I dont want to go back to them and say "You know how you just fixed the bottom half of the shower, now the top half needs help!" grrrr!! anyone know how to fix a shower head??

Then I get to work and its just chaotic, not like busy, but just that I kept making mistake after mistake and it was like my boss was around for every single one, it was almost funny! your boss never sees the good stuff, do they?? grrr!

Then i have to close because another coworker called in, and when I heard her voice I knew that it would be me that had to stay late, which is fine; just annoying. When you have your heart set on leaving at a certain time and then it gets extended.

Then there was a mess with closing, of course! it wasn't bad, but just laughable. and then I get home and my garage door opener wasn't working, and it was like "seriously??" and then i couldn't get my front door unlocked and it was cold and my feet were getting wet through the slush and snow, but I did get in FINALLY! what a long day! I am so tired from writing about this, I'm going to bed! night! hopefully tomorrow is better! :)

Happy New Years!!

Well its 2011! I hope its alot better than 2010, although 2010 wasn't horrible!! :)

Ringing in the New Year with Sara is always so much fun, and this year didn't disapoint! We met up and went to her house to pack, which is always adventours because she brings EVERYTHING, and I mean everything with her!

We then had dinner, did some New Years Eve shopping, and then watched movies and watched the ball drop! we always try to think of unique things to say for our last words for that year, but we didn't come up with anything interesting! haha!

Then this morning we played Wii games (or as I like to call it Wii-wii!) which was fun! and my sister called because her and our mom were going to see Harry Potter (i've only seen the first two!) so I met up with them after the movie and then went to church, which I thouroughly enjoyed! so far 2011 is awesome, but its only day 1! haha! but i did survive the last week of the year at work, so that's nice; although I didn't work very much! oh well!!
