Happy Birthday Sara!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know I had a good day today!! It is also my best friend Sara's birthday, and I tried talking to her today, and did not get ahold of her. I tried Sara!! Back to my day, I still am getting up early for training, and I am kind of getting used to it, which is weird. Actually when I got to work, I found out my new hire called in sick, so I just did some underwriting, not to bad, was kind of a quiet day. Of course when I got to work, Scott (my annoying boss) hounded me about his favorite Twin doing well in Monday's game, and I continue to tell him that Joe will be back soon, and do amazing. Hopefully soon, it seems he had a setback, so now they are not sure when he will be back. I try to remind Scott that his favorite player, is the fill in for Joe!!! Ha ha!! I did something really stupid today, something that I have never done before. I was buying some gas on my way home from work, and drove off without putting the gas cap on. The guy next to me kept looking at me funny, and finally I figured it out, so I turned off and couldn't find the cap. My dad said those little things are so expensive, which I think is stupid! Oh well! When I got home mom and dad were headed into Kimball to eat at Stanley's, it's a cheap restaruant in Kimball, probably the only one we had for awhile. Kind of tastes like School lunches, but anyway, they had a gift certificate, so we ate some okay food for supper, and then we came home, and I watched the Twins win again!! YAH!!! So all in all, it was a good day!! I should get to bed though, because I have to get up early again. Oh well, it will stop soon, and then I will wish I worked days, instead of nights, I think!! What a Friend we have in Jesus!!!

"Take it to the Lord in prayer!" Don't know why that song just popped into my head. Anyway, just wanted to say hi. Church was really great this morning!!! Worship was fantastic. I don't know what it is about worship music for me, but anytime I just sing praises to him I just LOVE it. Most of you know I am a horrible singer, so it's usually good when Jackie is around, so she can block out my bad singing!! But when I love a song, and it's just me and the Lord, it is SO good!! I have a lot of favorites, but one that sticks out for me is the Santuary song "Lord prepare me, to be a sanctuary!! Pure and holy, tried and true- oh-oh-oh!!! (!!!) I think this song has special meaning for me because it was the song that was sung at Pine Haven after I had made the announcement to accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior, I have a great baptism story!! So, I was at Pine Haven (church camp!) and my mom was there that year, probably to make sure I was being good and all that!! Well every night they do an invitation night during Chapel, and invite anyone who wants to be baptised to come up front. Well the Lord was definetly tugging at my heart that night, and I wanted to ignore it so bad. Getting up infront of people to talk is SO scary for me, and to do this was horrible. I kept thinking, "I'll do it next year!! Maybe then I will be able to get up in front of people!" Whenever I am at a convetion or anything, and the invitation music (there's no name for it, but this is what I call it, when the band comes back, and the leader is giving the challenge, and people come up to accept the Lord!!) It is so great, but at the same time, I CRY everytime anyone goes up there to speak. So I always take kleenexs with me, ANYWHO.... This time at church camp, I just started to cry, and then cool thing was that I wanted to find my mom, I am cry baby, and she knows me best, and when I found her, she was crying too. Like the Lord was telling her it was time for me to make this big step. I just think that it was so amazing that he was talking to both me and my mom. When we got up front though, we were both sobbing, so not sure if anyone heard what she said, but oh well!! I love my mom so much for this amazing baptisim story!!! The Lord is so amazing!! Something I have been struggling with is sharing Christ. I am a very shy person, so telling people about anything is scary, let alone Christ!!! He is so great!!! (Cue the music!!) But after all this happened, we sang the Sanctuary song, and then one time at another convention/gathering or something, they played that song, and a girl that wasn't from my hometown or church, told me it was my baptism song because they played it after I made the decision to be baptised, and I've always loved that song because of that. A goal of mine, that I've had for awhile, is to baptis someone I've brought to Christ. It hasn't happened yet, but I am praying for it!!! Well, it is SUPER late, and I am tired!!! I miss my brother, pray for his safe trip to Wyoming for the summer!!! Mom did cry too!! I knew she would!! LOVE!!

Weekend Update!!

Thursday (I know, not the weekend, but still- I haven't updated since!) When I got done with work there was a note from my dad saying: Mom and Kev are at Walmart!! Nothing else, so I took this to mean to go meet them over there. But the interesting part, my family members do not have cell phones, so I eventually tracked them down, and found out dad was just "informing" me in case I wanted to go?!?! In case you don't know, my dad is weird, so is my whole family actually!! When we all got home, it was time to assemble the new beds for the rooms upstairs, which involving dad and kevin together to do something like this is NEVER a good idea. It did turn out okay, but there were some "sketchy" moments to say the least. Friday: It was off to work EARLY again to train. The girl I am training is doing so well, so all I had to do was watch and answer questions if she had any!! It was an okay day, but it felt slow and long if that makes sense. It feels like on some days I am the brunt of everyones jokes at work, I try to take it with a good sense of humor, but when I get teased about underwriting I get kind of upset because I don't have a lot of confidence in my underwriting skills. But the work day did eventually end, and it was time to wait for my best friend Sara to come meet me at work to hang out and forget about work. There is something you need to know about me and Sara, whenever we are together, we have SO MUCH FUN!! We ended up watching the Twins game at her house, and then watching her Twins/Joe Mauer highlight tapes!! Good times, with someone who loves Joe Mauer as well!! The Twins did win last night, so that was fun!! Last night though, we slept on her Couch bed, which she will probably call it a "sleeper sofa" whatever!!! But we just started laughing about the Twins Pirahana commerical, and I think I literally laughed for 5 minutes strait!! It was great!! Then this morning I slept in, while Sara was up early as usual. I feel bad because I LOVE sleeping in, and she has to wait around until her lazy friend gets up!!! When I finally got up, we watched more Twins highlights, and then went shopping. Then we went back to her house and watched the Twins game, and then I went home because we were behind by so much, and when I got home we were tied, and it is still tied in extra innings, but just wanted to say that I had a fabulous weekend, so far!! Sad News though: Just found out that my baby brother is leaving for Wyoming tomorrow, and I thought he would be around until Monday, and that my sister would come home and we could have a family thing, but now I am sad!!! No big plans for the rest of the weekend, just relax, sleep in, and clean up my room with my new bed!!! Happy Memorial Day!! Love, Kristin!!

I've been waking up early-shocked?!?! I am!!

Hi guys!! Just wanted to say that I had a really great day today! I actually got up early, and had time to relax before leaving for work, this is very crazy for me!! usually it is hurry, hurry, hurry!! (sometimes for my afternoon shift too!!!) So basically I trained all day, the new girl is really good, so it's very easy to work with her. I do want prayers because she was swearing up a storm, and not saying the best things, and i knew I should say something, but I froze. I really need prayers about this because I feel like I ask for these opportunities and then when the Lord gives them to me, I blank. So please pray for me!! Anyway, after I was done training, I found out we had an impromtu underwriting meeting, and i was freaked because I thought the president would be there, but he wasn't, and the good news.... We talked about a new system to make underwriting easier!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!! Then after the meeting, I finally went to lunch and had like no time to just sit at my desk and work, so that made my day go very quickly. It was amazing!! Also, just an FYI towards sista, I laughed hysterically about what you emailed me. I tried to call you, but it didn't work!! LOVE YOU ALL!!! :)

family trip!!

had an okay day today!! i started my working earlier this week, which was kinda weird, but it went good. I started training a girl name Kelly, and she is really nice, so I don't think it will be long, since when I train time goes faster, so that's good. Kinda had a minor run in with a manager, but I proved him right, so it's all good. Not sure about my future at PCI-don't freak Jackie, our family is the only one that reads this!! I went shopping after work and got Sara's birthday presents, not gonna say, incase she is reading this!! Then I came home and asked mom, "What do you guys do on a school night?" since I work every "school night!" Kinda weird that we call it a school night, because momma is the only one in school! (technically!) Her answer, "Spread out in various rooms! Break!" I thought it was funny!!! I also watched the Twins game, until baby brudder Kevy decided to go for a drive, and I was like, "Sure!" That'll be fun. So i get ready to go in the car, and low and behold we take my car! So of course the whole family is like let's go this way, let's go that way!! Oh well, it's just gas and money, right?!?! I also found out that baby brudder reads this, so this shout out is for you!! "Holla!!" Okay, I am done. I try to be gansta at work, and I kinda get laughed at. Good news though, the Twins won!! Bad news, I was not there to broadcast for PCI!! Oh well!! I need to go to bed, it is SUPER late, and I have to get up SUPER early!! So good night, and please comment so I at least know my family is reading this!!! And I just read the most hilarious email in the world, from who you might ask? My sister of course. She is hilarious, and it is such a Sommers thing, so if you want to know, ask!!! LOVE!!

Hey everyone, Just wanted to let you know that my weekend is going fabulously. I had yesterday off, so it was nice to just chill out. Got to hang out with my dad, and my brother told him about youtube, so my dad was very excited about it. He found a video of an old muppet's cartoon that we watched when we were younger, it's call Manamana (so the family that reads this nows!!) it was really funny!! also, the twins won last night, and tonight, so that was exciting!!! Tomorrow I will know if Joe Mauer will be back playing, or on the disabled list for longer!!! Today at work was good. It was the Kirby sell-a-thon, so it's more a fun day and we had pizza too!! Not much else to say, except for tomorrow I have church in the morning, and then I will watch the twins game, and read outside in the sun and try to tan!! LOVE, Kristin!!

Good Day Today!!

I actually had a good day today, despite my review not going as well as I thought it should've. It wasn't that it went horrible, I did get a raise, but it seems like I do something and they don't like it, then when I don't do it they are not happy with that either. It's like what I told my sister today on my lunch break, PCI is like a guy sending me mixed singles, not that I would know because I am a loser that wants a boyfriend!!! :) I went to Burger King on my lunch (supper) break. I said I would never call my lunch breaks lunch, but I would call them supper even though I work nights, but that didn't work out so well!!! Anyway, this last weekend my sister got me hooked on icee's at BK, so that is what I had and I called her and told her to go get one too, not sure if she did or not- let me know sister!! When I got back to work, it went fine, I got a couple projects to work on, so that took up my time. It's always good to stay busy!! And now I have tomorrow off, so the plan is to lay out in the sun and "try" to tan. I am a very WHITE person, or else I will be a red tomato from burning, wish me luck!! The down side to having tomorrow off, I have to work Saturday!! Ahh!! But it should be fun because it is the Kirby sell-a-thon, and we have games and food, so it's usually a fun day, where they allow talking!! YAH!! LOVE!!!

Sorry it's been so long!!

Sorry I haven't updated my "readers!" in awhile!! Been kinda busy with work and all. actually something scary happened at work the other night, apparently a girl that used to work in our collections department came back last night with a bomb threat. The police were there and everything was check out and safe, but it is kinda scary what our world is coming to: no big deal for bomb threats, and kids taking guns to school! I just want to thank God that nothing bad happened last night!! It's been an okay week, just feels like a LONG one!! I have Friday off, so I think I will lay out in the sun and TRY to tan, and read! Also my posse and I are starting to plan a trip to Valley Fair this summer, so that should be fun! i sometimes wish I could be a kid again, just to sit back and have fun. I feel like all I ever do is work, sleep, eat, and REPEAT!! AHHHHHH!!! The twins have been sucking it up lately too! They lost again tonight! Someone brought up at work, that if Joe was injured and couldn't play again, he should work at PCI and I freaked out. I was like, "If Joe worked here, I would not be able to talk at all. I would be SPEECHLESS!!" my bosses joked that they would be glad about that. Joe's PCI initials would be JPMA. You take your first initial of your first name, the first initial of your middle name, and the first 2 initials of your last name. Mine is KASO. Some people call me that at work too!! Well, not much else to say, I need to go to sleep, and then I am off FRIDAY, so I will try to catch you up on other things going on for me. LOVE!!

GREAT WEEKEND!!!

I had a FABULOUS weekend!! My sister came home EARLY saturday morning, and I told to think "Nap time" when she got there, and if you know her, it kinda happened, for a little bit anyway.....

We talked and slept pretty much in the afternoon, and then she and I went to her place Saturday night, since I had yet to see her new house, which is great!! We went to IKEA, which is a super gynomorous store and bought mom a new office chair for mom's day, then we walked around the MOA for awhile.

When we got to her house we watched the Office with her roomate Tricia!! I had never seen the show, and if you haven't yet, do it!! it's hilarious!!

Then Sunday morning I went to Jackie's church and met some of her youth group kids, and then we came home to celebrate mom's day. It took awhile for all 3 of us girls to assemble the new chair, which mom loved!! Okay, maybe I just watched Jackie and mom!! Jackie also almost spilled the beans about baby brudder Kevy coming out to eat with us, as a suprise to momma. But it was all good. Mom was going on and on about her "mother's intiution crap!" but she was very suprised, because we made Kevy hide his truck, and come to dinner later, to throw her off!!

Good times, I love my family so much!! Plus Kevy is now back from college, for a couple weeks, before he goes to wyoming!! Sad! So that will be fun.

When we got home from eating out we all sat on the couch and looked at Kevy's college stuff. Basically it was me, mom, and Jackie (with Kevy, duh!!) looking at papers and pictures and listening to him talk about his major (forest fire fighting!) and GIRLS, which we didn't succeed very much on this one!!! All in all, it was a great weekend, and it sounds kinda sappy, but whenever my family and I hang out I know it will be super fantastic!!

So it's the start of a new week... Please continue to pray for me. I have my 3 year review sometime this week, and not sure what's gonna happen!! i love you all!!

Sorry so late for updates!!

Things have been going good!! Work as usual has been work, today was a fun day with Jessamyn and I sitting next to each other, and kind of "working!" Last night though, there was no one in the posse, so it was SUPER boring!! Ahhhh!!

I have my review next week, so please pray that it goes good and I get a RAISE!! I wish!!

Well i should really be going to be since I have to be up for work early tomorrow, but I might have some news soon, so stay posted!!!

Also sister is coming home this weekend, and brother might be too!! If he can't come home though, he will be home the next weekend and we will celebrate mothers day then, even though our mom is amazing ALL THE TIME!! Mom, I did fix this so anyone can post, so don't let it be just Jackie!!

I will post more this weekend, since it is an OFF one for me!! YAH!!!!!

Good day today!!

Hey everyone, I had a really good day today at work!! It started out really well because when I got to work my boss went over my underwriting quiz, for my 3 year review next week (3 YEARS!!! Isn't that insane?!?!) and apparently I did very, very well. I only got a few things wrong, which I was very excited about because I feel like I've been in an underwriting funk lately, if you will!! So that was good, and most of the posse was at work today, so that was fun. (Don't worry mom, I did work!!) Then I listened to the twins game for the PCI broadcast, and even though joe isn't playing, it is still a good distraction to focus on work, and not get into trouble!!! The game went into extra innings and we ended up winning 4-7, which was exciting, and I was so busy I didn't even take any 10 minute breaks, which is crazy for me!! Then I went to the gym after work, and decided to work out hard!!! It feels good though!!! Well, please pray for me, I am getting impatient about the man God has for me, so please pray!! I love you all!! :)

Good Weekend!!

I had a pretty good weekend, I worked yesterday and that was kinda fun, which is not something you will hear from me a lot. I am known as a talker, and well, a lot of people at work don't like that. We listened to the Twins game, and I practically freaked out when Joe was out of the line up only to find out that he was going to have an MRI done on his leg/muscle area (or something!) this morning and see what's going on. BAD NEWS......... Turns out that he is going to be on the Disabled List for 2 (or more) weeks. This is not cool, because at work I am the person with the radio listening to the game, and basically broadcasting for co-workers, and with my favorite player not in the line up, it is not going to be as exciting, but I will still cheer the Twins on. I watched some interviews today of Joe, and he is so sad, it almost made me cry!! Anyway..... I actually got some sleep last night, and was up EARLY for church this morning, I know it is very shocking (i'm not a morning person!). Church was good, including sunday school, about praying, which is what I am doing for my devotion right now, so I thought that was interesting. Then I was supposed to go to a co-workers soccer game, but the weather was bad, I was kinda napping and watching for any/all news on Joe Mauer during the twins game today, which we lost 3-4, close anyway!!! So I didn't go, and just had a lounging around the house day, which was nice because I work all this week, so it's crunch time until Friday night. I think this coming weekend I am getting together with Sara, and maybe my siblings are coming home for mom's day on Sunday, so that should be fun. We will probably pull the old asking dad to pay routine, and we will pay him back later, still works to this day (siblings will know about this routine, let's try this year!!) and then on the way home we should goof off, and dad will get crabby, try to grab someones legs in the back seat to hit (not too hard) and say, "After all I've done for you, this is how you repay me!!) Another family ritual!!! So, pray for me to survive work this week, and also pray for Joe Mauer!!! LOVE!!

Much better day today!!!

Mainly my day was GREAT because I didn't have to work!! I slept in, and hung out with my parents. To some people that might sound lame, but my parents are WAY cool!!! My mom is definetly someone I can go to for ANYTHING, she is always there to calm me down and help me out with my daily problems, I don't know what i would do if I couldn't vent my issues to her!! Thanks momma!! Then when dad came home, we watched this the Twins game, and this old show he loves the Andy Griffith Show together!! He was so cute, and it was a lot of fun, even though the Twins lost!! Also baby brother Kevy called, and we talked for a bit. He is so wonderful, and he is going to Wyoming this summer, so I am going to miss him like crazy! Since I mentioned almost everyone in my family, I will tell you about my wonderfully great sister Jackie weeee (or lea!!). She is such a great Christian, and someone I go to for all my spiritual issues. She is SO hilarious and crazy, and I know when we hang out together it will be super great. You better get used to me talking about my family because they are great, and the best part........ We are all baptized into Christ, so it will be a super great rockin' party in Heaven!!!! :) Well, its kinda late, so I am going to get ready for bed, because I have to work tomorrow!!! I'm a little Sad!!!

I'm really kinda sad, and just want to meet the man God has for me!!! I feel like it is SO wrong of me to be so impatient, and it's all I pray about lately. I just wish that I could be a kid again, and wish that I believed my mom when she said that "life as an adult is not easy!" Boy was she right!! I had an okay day at work, it was just long, also the Twins lost, and Joe Mauer didn't have a good game, so that kinda sucked, and the fact that Scott rubbed it into my face, grrr!!! Also I went out with friends after work, but my friend took her boyfriend, and it reminded me of what I don't have. Don't get me wrong, I am so happy for her and her relationship, but I want a boy to spoil me, love me, and shower me with gifts. I want to just feel so happy when I see him, or know that the next time I see him will be wonderful. And most importantly that we can grow spiritually together, and feel like it is us against the world, and not feel like I am the only Christian in my area! Where is that Christian man?!?! Thanks for letting me vent, I should be in better spirits tomorrow, because I don't have to work, now that is something exciting!!! I think I am just going to chill tomorrow, maybe read out in the sun, watch the Twins. Then I work saturday- which isn't so bad, Saturdays are more relaxed at PCI, and then on Sunday I have church early, and am going to a co-workers soccer game!! He promised to show off for all of us too, so that will be fun!! I love you all! Love in him, Kristin

Had a great day today!! nobody from the posse was at work, but little Zac made an appearance because of his sister, and said he couldn't pass on seeing the posse!! how sweet!!

I did have a lot of fun with my co-worker Mishay!! She is so great, and laughs along with all my random weirdness!! I kept calling her paper all day, get it?!?!

Her PCI initials are MVGR, and I call her that, and when she first started, she said it sounded like Oscar the grouches cousins, so there you go, we now know that Oscar has a cousin!!
