Weekend Update!!

Thursday (I know, not the weekend, but still- I haven't updated since!) When I got done with work there was a note from my dad saying: Mom and Kev are at Walmart!! Nothing else, so I took this to mean to go meet them over there. But the interesting part, my family members do not have cell phones, so I eventually tracked them down, and found out dad was just "informing" me in case I wanted to go?!?! In case you don't know, my dad is weird, so is my whole family actually!! When we all got home, it was time to assemble the new beds for the rooms upstairs, which involving dad and kevin together to do something like this is NEVER a good idea. It did turn out okay, but there were some "sketchy" moments to say the least. Friday: It was off to work EARLY again to train. The girl I am training is doing so well, so all I had to do was watch and answer questions if she had any!! It was an okay day, but it felt slow and long if that makes sense. It feels like on some days I am the brunt of everyones jokes at work, I try to take it with a good sense of humor, but when I get teased about underwriting I get kind of upset because I don't have a lot of confidence in my underwriting skills. But the work day did eventually end, and it was time to wait for my best friend Sara to come meet me at work to hang out and forget about work. There is something you need to know about me and Sara, whenever we are together, we have SO MUCH FUN!! We ended up watching the Twins game at her house, and then watching her Twins/Joe Mauer highlight tapes!! Good times, with someone who loves Joe Mauer as well!! The Twins did win last night, so that was fun!! Last night though, we slept on her Couch bed, which she will probably call it a "sleeper sofa" whatever!!! But we just started laughing about the Twins Pirahana commerical, and I think I literally laughed for 5 minutes strait!! It was great!! Then this morning I slept in, while Sara was up early as usual. I feel bad because I LOVE sleeping in, and she has to wait around until her lazy friend gets up!!! When I finally got up, we watched more Twins highlights, and then went shopping. Then we went back to her house and watched the Twins game, and then I went home because we were behind by so much, and when I got home we were tied, and it is still tied in extra innings, but just wanted to say that I had a fabulous weekend, so far!! Sad News though: Just found out that my baby brother is leaving for Wyoming tomorrow, and I thought he would be around until Monday, and that my sister would come home and we could have a family thing, but now I am sad!!! No big plans for the rest of the weekend, just relax, sleep in, and clean up my room with my new bed!!! Happy Memorial Day!! Love, Kristin!!
