Great end to the (kind of) weekend!!

Went to church this morning!!! Good service! Got to catch up with one of the girls I grew up with who was in town for the holidays, so that was cool.

Suzie and I hung out this afternoon, which was really fun, as usual!!!

Watched some skating too, it was for stars on ice, which is the show that my dad and I go to!!

I have to work early tomorrow, so I am planning to go to bed early, and just discovered the Sound of Music on TV!! Yah!

Have a great new year everyone! Tomorrow night I'm hanging out with Sara, so that should be SUPER fun!! Love!

Weekend off to a great start!

The past couple of days at work, haven't been the best, but the weekend has been going great. Yesterday, I relaxed, and actually cleaned my room for my new years party.

I slept in this morning, which was FABULOUS!! I found out that my dad took my car to st. cloud, which he usually does every Saturday morning to put gas it in, which I pay, but my car stalled on the highway when he was in the left turn lane, and he said people were swearing at him. He then called the house to have someone come get him, but we were all sleeping and didn't hear the phone, whoops! So he called our neighbor, and instead of our neighbor coming over and waking us up, he went to go get my dad! nice huh?!?! I think I might be buying myself a new car, it's time my dad said! I really want to get a jeep, a blue one! I think! :)

This afternoon I hung out, kev, mom, and I watched youtube videos of High School musical, and sang the songs. That was fun!

Then I went shopping and worked out hard, which albeit is hard, but it feels really good when you are done! I bought some Christmas Hermey stuff, which is half off since Christmas is over! they already have Valentine stuff up in stores, how crazy is that?!?!?

Then I bought some ingriedents that I am going to be making for my new years party! Its a dip, so nothing too out there! I, hopefully, can handle this!!

Then Suzie called and we talked for awhile, and are making plans to hang out tomorrow, which will be so much fun! She wants to watch the vikings, because its a super important game for them, and kev and my dad hate the vikings!! Ha ha!

Good times, well I should get to bed so I can get up tomorrow morning!

Survived going back to work!

I actually had a really good day today! It was slow, I think just because of being the day after Christmas, which stinks! I hate the day after, growing up my mom used to take the tree down right away when people left, at least its still up! Plus Sara and I do a gift exchange usually in early january, just to say that its still technically Christmas!!!

Anyway, work was good! I ended up working on a filing project with my friend Lisa for a bit, so that was fun, and made time go by faster! I didn't get a call the last hour that I was scheduled, it was that SLOW! I hope it picks up eventually!

Now just relaxing, probably going to read a bit from my new book before I go to bed!!

Its almost the weekend, and yet it feels like a monday! hooray! :)

What a great day! started out kinda rough, since I couldn't sleep last night, and my siblings were so impatient for me to wake up to open santa gifts. I think because I knew what I was getting, it wasn't to big of a deal to go open, even though I got some more cool stuff!!

Then we got ready for the family to come, and I prepared myself, but it was actually really fun. My little cousins are SO CUTE!! The white elephant gift exchange was fun too, and no scandals like last year, except when my cousin Tim and Kevin (brother!) screwed up the number of people, but it was okay!

I ended up with 5 bucks and a dominoes set that I gave to mom! :)

Then I caught up with my cousin who lives in Chicago, and her hubby, and her little boy Liam, is SUCH A CUTIE!!! Then I watched a little skating, and by around 5:00 everyone was gone, so we cleaned up, Jackie left, and came back since she forgot stuff, and Kevy went to his friends house. So then I started to chill and read, and relax since I have to work tomorrow (ick!!)

But it was a great day and a great Christmas!! merry christmas everyone! Have a great new year!

Merry Christmas!!!

What a great day! It started out by getting woken up to dad saying he was going to get pizza!!! YAH!! We ate pizza, watched the burglar scenes of Home Alone 1 and 2, since we try to watch all of both, and it usually doesn't happen!

Then we got ready for church, and since Kev bought this SUPER girlish white sweater to wear for Christmas Eve services, Jackie said that we should both wear some of mom's Christmas/old lady sweaters!!! It was funny, but I kept my jacket on for most of the service. We ended up going to the family Christmas eve service, which was very well, CRAZY! It was okay, but I think since it was the family service, there were SO MANY KIDS! AHHH!!

After the services, we came home, got ready to read the nativity story. We also read that story from my Message bible, so that was cool. Then dad said a prayer and we opened presents. I got so many cool things! YAH!! I got a Making of the Classic Rudolph movie, I got a sasha cohen skating book, a twins t-shirt, a joe mauer poster, that he can sign when I go to twinsfest next year!! So much other cool things too!

Then we played Disney Trivia, since mom gave it to dad, and then dad came up with a crazy game for us to play, which this year was Sommersnopoly (monopoly!) which was SO fun, with real money, which dad marked down with post it notes! We won SO much money, it was great!

Then Jackie, mom, Kev, and I watched High School Musical 2, which Kev gave to jackie, and then we played the trivia game I gave her, and now I am SO tired and going to go to bed. We got family coming over tomorrow, and sometimes they show up early, so we are going to do stockings, and suprise mom and dad with there stockings, which will be SO MUCH FUN!!

Wow!!! Fun times!! My family is SUPER! Hooray! Well have a great Christmas, and I will post about tomorrow!! G'night! :)

FABULOUS day!!! MeRrY ChRiStMaS!!!!

What a wonderful day! I pretty much watched skating and chilled out in front of the tv. Then when kev got home we went light looking. Which was SO much fun! Dad sat in the back seat with me and Jackie and he is SO weird and SO funny!! Good times!

We took my car and there are only two heat buttons: really, really high, or none at all! nothing in the middle. So someone would yell out "Turn the heat off!" and then literally two minutes later someone would shout: "Turn the heat on!!"

Before we went to see the lights we went caroling to the couple from our church, remember? Which was fun. We didn't really have a song planned, so we decided to come up with one on the doorstep, and then they opened the door, and we sang "We Wish you a Merry Christmas!" It was fun, and I think we have such great voices! (when jackie sings over us, since she has the nicest voice!)

Then we went to see the lights, which were great, as always! Then we went to Mcdonalds, and this was the funny part. We got a new guy doing the drive thru orders, and

dad starts: Merry Christmas. I need 40 chicken nuggets (there's 5 of us!) I got a coupon! Is that okay!"
New guy: "Ummm......"
dad: "Great", before he could answer. "I'm gonna pull up to the winder (window!) now!!! It was SO funny! That's my dad!

We always get chicken nuggets at McDonalds. A couple years ago we ordered 20 and dad went to get gas or something, and came back and Kev had eaten ten of them. He was so mad at the time, but he brought it up and was laughing today!

Then we looked at some more lights, went to Cold Stone for ice cream (another Sommers tradition!) Lady screwed up my order, how do you do that with ice cream?!? Oh well! We also sang "We wish you a Merry Christmas" to our neighbors, and it was funny because he saw my sister drive us into the ditch in front of our driveway, which really wasn't the ditch, and she was like, "I hope no one saw!". Which was great!!!!!

When we got home, we watched the Vikings loose, which made the males in my family very happy, and then I chilled, and went upstairs and hung out with the roomies upstairs (jackie and kev!) That was fun! Kev tried on his "Christmas" sweater he bought at savors. It is so ugly, but so him!

Family Time/Traditions!

The weekend at the Sommers house started out kinda shaky. Jackie brought the movie Hairspray home, which I thought was stupid, with some okay parts!

Most of the time I talk about how wonderful my family is, but like all families, there are problems that arise, and yesterday kinda felt like everyone was cranky, plus the Cowboys were playing and Kev gets so intense, so that could've been part of it, but I know the rest of the weekend is going to be fabulous!

Its funny because I got a new single bed, and kev put in his single bed along with his old bed, so Jackie has been sleeping in Kevin's room. "Girl roomate!!" Which is hilarious!

Church was good this morning. Fun to catch up with those I grew up with! Plus one of them, jackie "mudder" has a baby girl, so we will probably see the Klaehn family tomorrow during the Christmas Eve services.

Then Jackie and I went Christmas shopping and got all my shopping done. I also took her to Perkins and that was a lot of fun! The bad weather was not to fun to drive in, but we made it home!

Now I am going to watch some skating, take a nap, and then tonight we are going to go light looking. Now a description of the start of the Sommers family traditions.

We started this one a couple years ago.....

There is a house in Clearwater which has a MILLION lights, so we go there. Also a couple from our church live over there, so we go sing Christmas carols to them. Then we go to mcDonalds and get a bunch of chicken nuggets, look at more lights, and then go to Cold Stone for dessert. we also sing to the Christmas carols on the radio, and its just about being together and having fun.

So that is what we do the night before Christmas Eve, I will describe the other traditions later!!

Survived, and now celebrating Christmas with the fam!

YAH!! Work was great!!! (it lasted FOREVER, but it was still fun!)

When I got there I handed out candy and christmas cards, and cute little ornaments for my podmates, so that was fun!

They started letting people go early, since it wasn't busy at all, so it got very quiet right away! We took calls, talked, watched the clock, etc. until 10:00! It was nice to be around some of the other girls I work with, that I don't see very often!

Now I am in the process of cleaning my room, getting ready for Jackie coming home and then we are going shopping tomorrow, so I should go to bed soon before she gets mad at me for sleeping in!!! AHHH! (Even though she will probably wake me up SUPER early when she gets home!!) Grrr! J/k!!

So very excited to be free for the next couple days, and I promise I will get that more descriptive Sommers family Christmas celebrations explanations out to you guys soon!!

I think most of my co-workers are just anxious for the weekend to get here, and some of them got to go home early, I opted out, just because I didn't want to loose hours!

I talked to this consultant for almost an hour, she was mostly complaining about our background music, but she was SO funny! I just couldn't believe it! (I actually like our background music!)

Called one of my old co-workers Jessamyn, and that was good to catch up!!

Well my morning started out very slowly, so I think I am going to go to bed early so I have time to get ready!! G'night!!

What a FABULOUS day!!

Had such a great day today! I was supposed to go to the employee sale this morning, but silly old me, just couldn't wake up, so I had a co-worker/friend of mine get me some stuff!

When I got work we had our team party! We ordered from famous daves and hung out for about an hour and half. It was good food, and we revealed our secret santa's. Mine gave me yet another present with black winter materials: scarf, mittens, hat, etc. (SO CUTE!!!) We also got gifts from the company, and from our team lead Jessica, so that was cool.

Then some of us had training for about an hour which is just the trainers telling us about changings or things being updated!

Then I finally got to work, and it was SO SLOW! Like no calls at all, it was fun for awhile and the day was going fast, and then it SLOWED even more down! So our pod talked, and hung out!

When I got home caught up with dad since I haven't talked to him since my parents got home from vacation, he is excited to spoil me when we go in Feb, and I'm excited to be spoiled. Then I caught up on some Christmas classics, like The Little Drummer Boy, and Santa Claus is Coming to Town! I love all those old animagic movies, but I have to wait to watch my favorite one until Sara and I have our Christmas party, she doesn't like Rudolph, but I think she does!! :)

It kinda felt like a Friday, but I still have two more days and then its Christmas!!! Here are my plans for the extended weekend and i will tell you in details our Christmas traditions, probably on Friday or saturday.

Okay day today, just trying to get through the rest of the week!

Today was a good day. At first my closest friend (at my new job) Lisa wasn't in, so I was worried that she was sick or something, but she was using her volunteering time (that we get paid throughout the year!) so she was in later. I told her she was the glue that stuck us all together. Someone at PCI told me that and I thought it was SO nice!!

It was SO SLOW TODAY AT WORK!! Craziness! So that has been kinda fun, and tomorrow we have our holiday party, for about an hour with catered food!! Good times!

Wow, can someone honestly say they love going to work, because they know it will be fun!! I have to say that work was great, and better than my lazy day yesterday!

We had so much fun! We talked, worked of course, just hasn't been so busy! We played on this art website thing, and painted. Planned for our Christmas party on Wednesday, yes during work, read magazines. The consultants were really nice today too, they were kinda moody on Friday! Oh well, it happens!

Kevy was home when I got here, and in a fabulous mood! :)

What a CRAZY weekend! PS Happy b-day mom!

Wow, is all I can say! I guess I should start from Saturday!

SLEPT IN, Hooray!! It was great

Was a little lazy, then went Christmas shopping, got more of it done. Almost done, with a week until Christmas, which I am SO excited about!

Met Suzie at Mongo's, where we first met up for dinner months and months ago when we got to be good friends! Then we decided to rent the sequel to the Christmas shoes, which was AMAZING! Didn't cry like the first one, but it was still good! We also got some wine (fake, of course!) and some wine glass, some junk food and vegged out in front of the TV. Only problem was it was a DVD, and Kevin and his friends were playing poker, not using the TV, and Kevin was the only person who said no to us, so we had to go to the church and set it up to watch. (shaking head!)

There were a lot of things going on, so I guess it had to do with that! (Sorry, can't reveal the details!)

Last night Suzie and I slept in my parents bed, and we stayed up late talking, but I am SO glad we made it to church. The sermon was totally geared toward us about marriage, and everything. It really made me think that sure, I want to get married, and feel loved, but am I ready? All this time I've been praying for the man God has for me to be ready, but now I think I need to work on myself. The first thing is to really consider moving out. I think its time, and with Kevin coming home it is DEFINTELY time!!! Ha ha! :)

after church Suzie and I hung out for a bit, and then it was pretty much a lazy day for me! No vespers, sad! :(

Kevin was in a bit of a mood since his team (football, dallas cowboys!) lost. Football is his passion, and he needs everything perfect otherwise he is M O O D Y (with all caps!) He's a guy, so I guess there's not much I can do about it!

Hopefully he will continue to grow and become more mature, he sure has improved as of late, and I so hope that we have a great Christmas together!

I am getting excited though, just gotta get through the work week and then I am home free! After kev left, I took a bubble bath, with some left over wine, and read! It was Heavenly!

Well, there's my story of a weekend! I will defintely post about Christmas traditions soon, especially BEFORE Christmas!

Surviving the week!!

Beginning of the week was kinda crazy, and not in a good way! Yesterday, for the first time EVER, in my life, I locked my keys in my car, and I couldn't get a hold of my dad, but later I did even though I was kinda freaking out, like, "Why does he have something going on tonight!" Ha ha! :)

Today was a very good day though! My secret santa keeps delivering gifts, so thats fun! I got some candy, a puzzle, and a little santa, that is SO CUTE! Also my co-workers are so great! we have lot's of fun, which our manager is totally okay with! We have so much fun together! Also its been kinda slow at work because the Christmas deadlines have passed, so it will probably pick up after Christmas!

Still getting excited for Christmas, my family is SO MUCH FUN!

Tried for 1st service, skipped community group, overslept and was late to 2nd service. Our old ministers wife sings this song with bells every year and has the kids come up and ring some bells and then we all sing, since she has been doing it FOREVER, but because of my lazy self, I overslept and missed it! It was over when I got to church, but I am so glad that I came in because we had our youth pastor do the sermon, and he is SO great! it was about friendship! He's a very good preacher!

after church Suzie wanted to practice her special for her friends wedding (kev's taking her to!), and its the song "Only Hope!" from Walk to Remember, I love that movie, and the song!

After that Suzie came over, we pigged out on pizza, talked, watched football, took a nap! Then later for supper mom made hamburgers and us girls watched Christmas Shoes, which is based off the song, and it was SOOOOO good! There was one part where I started to cry and then I look over and mom and Suzie were crying too! Then dad came in and looked at all of us and started to laugh, it was kinda funny!

after the movie Suzie and I went to vespers, its the last one until next semester, which stinks, but it was cool because we requested Days of Elijah, which is one of our favorites and they played it, and it was GREAT! We love that song! Worshiping with Suzie is great, she is so into it, and that makes me get into it too!!!

After that we went to Starbucks for some hot chocolate, and just some fellowship, Suzie is so wonderful. She is struggling with some things, and just the way she is handling it is SO WONDERFUL AND GODLIKE! She's great!

Well, that's it for the weekend, it sure flew by, but I am excited about Christmas getting closer, and mom and dad are gone for the weekend, so Suzie is coming over, PARTY!! YAH!

I am having a very great weekend! I slept in today, and then sara and I went Christmas shopping, and it was really fun!

Got most of it done, but will probably finish when Jackie comes home the weekend before Christmas, talk about cutting it close, huh?

Well tomorrow, not really sure what is going to happen. Probably do some more Christmas shopping with Suzie this time. Mom and dad will be over at some friends, so we might just relax and chill around the house too. last vespers until middle of january, which is sad, but they do such a wonderful job, so they deserve a break. Hopefully there are more people there then last week!

What a GREAT day!

It started out kind of rough, with oversleeping, but I wasn't late for work, so that was good. Fridays are casual, and just wearing whatever you want, so thats nice!

The day went so quick, was slow, and we had so much fun! I brought in a lot of my Christmas stuff, so we decorated our pod! It was fun! We are the most Christmasy, and I keep wanting to challenge the other pods, so it's fun!

One of the girls in our pod is pregnant, and she found out she is having a boy, and she wants her baby to have her same initials, and her name is Andrea, and she could not think of an A name that she liked. Jill suggested Anthony, and Tony for short, which Andrea liked, so know we are all trying to take credit for giving her that name!! Ha!

Jill (co-worker) also showed me some of our digital scrapbooking stuff, since it was so slow, and some of it is pretty cool!!

Afterwards we all left work together, "We are leaving as a POD" I said!!! It was just an all around good day!

When I got in the parking lot my car was on, and I was like, "uh oh! Did I leave my car on from lunchtime?" but then my dad showed up in his car, and he had started it and was leaving, but then saw me, came back, and laughed at my confused face! :)

after that I went shopping, and I think Jackie is my easy one to shop for this year! I keep seeing so many things for her, and mom needs some ideas, so......

Also, mom is the hard one to shop for this year!

Day started out great at work! We had a team meeting, which are always fun! We also found out because of all our hard work the president of CM was giving us a personal day off to use whenever!! YAH!!

Work is fun though, and the consultants and my co-workers are nice!

I just love that Christmas is coming up! Its supposed to snow tomorrow, which stinks, but hopefully it doesn't snow that much, because I really want no more, and then to go shopping, but I feel like if it does snow on saturday, I can't go!! AHHHHHH!!!

Driving to work was HORRIBLE this morning, and took forever! My friend was shocked that I made it to work on time!

Work went really good, and very fast! Good day today!

Then dad came to help guide me home. He warmed up my car, scraped by windows, and tried to scrapp everyones windows that I work with. He's such a sweetie, and i love him so much! Then I took him to Mcdonalds for malts, and I just feel badly that the roads weren't as horrible as I thought they were and made him come help me!

I've had such a great weekend! Today starting out kind of rough, by this I mean....


My parents leave super early for the 1st service at church, and we were not plowed out by this time, so I had to go with them, but I ended up oversleeping, so then I thought I would just go to second service and wait for our snow plow to go through, but he was kinda late in the morning, so I was late for church, but I still got there!

Then the afternoon was spent hanging out with my family and Suzie, and watching football, which I am kind of starting to like!! Crazy, I know!

What else did we do....

I burnt two batches of popcorn!!!


Then it was time for the Christmas program, mom and i had to go early because of it being our kids, but the program was fun and "short!" and the kids did great, so now I am done teaching, which is GREAT! I think I am going to go with Suzie to her community group, which will be fun! There was also soup and bread afterward, so I got to know Suzie's friend Tammy more!

After that we got home and relaxed, and said bye to Kev. The plan was to go to Scheels and do some Christmas shopping, but it was closed when we got there! OH WELL! We went to walmart, and suzie got a super cute new coat! She did have one and dad was like, "Get a coat!", so she did!

Then it was Vespers, which was amazing! Not a big turnout of people at all, but it was still fun and it felt really intimate and wonderful. We sang a family favorite: "Days of Elijah!", which I still have in my head!

Then it was time to come home, do some laundry, and get ready for the work week ahead. 3 more weeks until Christmas!! YIPPPEE! I love Christmas!

HOORAY!!!

What a great weekend! Yesterday though was a different story. It was month end at work, and needless to say, it was crazy!! It was so busy, and I worked for 10 hours, which was a LONG day! When I got home though mom, dad, Jackie, and I , and later Kev, watched High School musical, and it was SO GOOD!!! I thought it would be stupid, but I suppose I should listen to my sister because she has very good tastes in musicals, which I love!!

We stayed up late talking, and then EARLY, EARLY this morning my mom, sister, and I went scrapbooking at work which was fun! The females in my family are very crazy, so we made it fun! I also got paid overtime to scrapbook for 4 hours, how cool is that?

I am very excited about the holidays. In the coming weeks I am going to write about the crazy and super fun Sommers family Christmas traditions, so make sure you toon in!

What else did I do later today: NOTHING with Kev and the fam, and it was SO fun! :)

Still surviving!

Yesterday was a very good day! Us podmates (what our little group of co-workers that work in the same pod call ourselves!) If I can figure out how to get it on here, I will post it. The people I work with ARE SO NICE! Of course, I miss my PCI co-workers.

Let's see, Suzie came over last night after her and Kev were done at youth group. We tossed the football around, tried to put up the tree, but failed, and they read poetry (ahh!). It was fun!

Suzie and I stayed up SUPER late talking, but it was good! Kev's home randomly in the middle of the week, when I first say him I was like, "Hi!" and then I was like, "What are you doing here?" I thought it was funny!

Almost done with the week. Jackie is coming home tomorrow night, and we are going to scrapbook at work with mom, 4 hours of OT for me, how cool is that? It will be fun to go to work, and not have to work, and get paid for it! Then the plan is to go shopping, but mom has to work tomorrow night, so we are kind of not sure! I need some ideas for my family. I love CHRISTMAS, and Christmas shopping, and CHRISTMAS music! But not the snow, even though it hasn't really. I just hate driving in it.

Work today went well until later tonight. Our digital (for digital scrapbooking) closes at 8:00, and so for 2 hours its like I have to field those questions, even though I say, "I don't have digital background, so you will have to call back in the morning!" and then they say "Well maybe you could find out!" and soon they start asking more questions and annoying me!! GRRRR!! nathan, the funny one in digital, was laughing at me because I was complaining about what he has to do all day, answer annoying digital questions!!! :)

Well I have to work super long tomorrow (10 hours!) so I need to get to bed, and dad told Kev to wake me up tomorrow, which will not be cool, so hopefully I can get up before him, hopefully! LOVE YA ALL! COMMENT PLEASE! THANKS! :)

Survived another day! My shoulder/back/neck feels a little better.Keep praying, and POSTING! Come on people, SERIOUSLY! I've been writing like EVERY day! Yes, I am yelling by using capital letters. But I love you guys!

I do like my job, and the people I work with are nice, so that helps! There is a really TALL, funny guy that works in the digital department and after it quiets down he comes over to talk to us, and he is so funny. His name is Nathan, and yesterday he come over to our pod, and collapsed on the floor because everyone he was talking to was driving him crazy. It was HILARIOUS. He said he probably shouldn't do that anymore because if he really does faint, we will be all, "Oh Nathan, very funny!"

Also it's just nice to talk to nice people. Although I am kind of a perfectionist in wanting to know the answer to all there questions, but I've only been there a month, so....

But yah, I love Christmas music, and it's on ALL THE TIME NOW! I love Christmas, and Rudolph Classic movie, with Hermey the elf. He's SO cute! If you haven't seen the movie before we are going to watch it sometime! I need to get some sleep! G'night! :)

Survived today, BARELY!!

Work was okay! Slept on my back/neck wrong last night, and I'm still in pain. Work was SO busy, almost 20 calls holding at one time! When a consultant calls in her name and phone number pop up, and when the lady got me, she accidentally hung up, so I called her back. she was SO amazed!!! (Go me!)

Just trying to get through the rest of the week, despite it being Monday! Mom and Jackie are going scrapbooking with me at work on Saturday morning, and then we are going to go Christmas shopping. I get overtime too, hooray!

Great end to the FABULOUS weekend!

What a great day, it didn't start out too well! Sunday School didn't go so well. Kids are driving me nuts, AHHHH! Then mom and i found out that we have one more week to go, when we thought we were done today, oh well! Next week is about getting the kids ready for there Christmas program. Church was good. We had our missionary from the Dominican Republic William, with his wife, visiting, so that was cool. Kinda funny since we had a woman in our church who can translate spanish, and sometimes our pastor would say something to William, and he would have to look to her for a translation!

It was fun to catch up with some of the guys who are away at school, after church. Fun times! Then I went to Sara's, but not without getting into an argument with my brother, some things never change!

Sara and i went to Space Aliens, and then went to FashionBug. It was fun, I got a pair of jeans on sale, since I can wear jeans to work now! YAH!

Then I came home, patched things with Kev, even though he claims he didn't know there was a fight, typical guy! Then I watched some skating, which was good!

What a relaxing day though! I feel ready for the hectic week that is approaching, I've been warned by fellow co-workers how crazy it will be, ahh!! START PRAYING! Love ya! :)

I am sad to say this, but I literally slept all day! I got 13 hours of sleep, which was WONDERFUl! When I woke up I watched the Sound of music with my family, which was so much fun! And Suzie is coming over soon, and we are going to have a sleepover! YAH!

Great Birthday!

It's official I am 23 years old! AHHH! I'm kinda old! Ha!

I had a good day though. Sister woke me up SUPER early, okay, kind of early, and we watched some Sound of Music features, ate some pizza, and hung out with the fam. When she left I hung out with my parents, and shopped ebay with mom, and gave her some Christmas ideas, which was really fun!

I then met up with Sara at Mexican Village, and got a free meal. Then we went shopping, and went to Shopko. We looked around, and I got some cute Rudolph coloring/painting books. I love that movie so much. Also Christmas music started on the radio, YAH! I LOVE CHRISTMAS, and CHRISTMAS music!

After that I went to the gym, and worked out hard, which felt good. Since my PCI/health insurance deal at the gym ended, I haven't gone all month, so its time to work off the holiday food! HA HA!

When I got home, I hung out with the fam again, and dad and I watched some more Sound of Music clips, we are going to watch the movie tomorrow, because we didn't have time, so I am looking forward to it. We also sang some songs from the movie. My daddy is SO CUTE. He loves the Sound of music, and sings and watches it with me, so it's fun!

I had a great birthday, and just want to thank everyone for your nice birthday messages, I love you all!! Have a great weekend! We still have 2 days, YES! :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

What a BEAUTIFUl, AMAZING, and GREAT day! I love my family SO much! Suzie came over and we had an early lunch. It was fun, we went around and said what we were thankful for and dad started and said, "Family!", then Kevin said, "Ditto!". (shaking my head!) Dad also said the prayer and it was SO funny because he said something about being with the people on land and sea! Jackie and I ALMOST died laughing, whoops!

It was nice to use the good dishes and be in the kitchen with my family. We laugh, joke, and ARE SO LOUD together! It seems like you need to get a microphone just to be heard, over everyone else wanting a chance to say something! Good times! :)

After dinner we played cards, 7up for mom, and then I relearned and taught Suzie how to play cups, this game my parents love. It's hard to explain, but can get wild and crazy, which is the best kind of fun! We also played Big Booty, which is another weird and complicated game. Dad is so funny during these games!

When Suzie left for work, we all watched the Dallas game together, they won! And just hung out. I also found out today about Torii Hunter being traded, so that SUCKS horribly!! I got to open my presents tonight because Kev will be leaving early in the morning. I got 23 gold gifts, by this I mean, a gold purse, nailpolish, sandals, notebook, pencil, etc. The funny one was getting a gold key, and being told to go outside, and on my car there was a gift. It was a little gold 2007 car, which was funny. mom asked if I thought I was getting a car, which I knew wasn't true, so I was just confused about what was going on!!!!

Let's see, what else did we do? Kev had some friends over, so mom, Jackie, and I watched the Incredibles and an episode of the Office in the little room in our house CALLED the office. We also cuddled together, and Jackie was getting annoyed with me or mom and sarcastically said, "So annoyed!" but in a super funny way, and we proceeded to laugh and say it ALL DAY!

Tomorrow I think we are going to have an early PIZZA lunch, watch the Sound of Music, and then Jackie will leave. Suzie wants to go out for coffee, and then I think I am going to Mexican Village with sara for my free b-day meal. I am very glad that I have the rest of the weekend to chill out though!

Happy Thanksgiving Eve!!

YAH!! Done with work for the next 4 days, hooray! Work actually went really well today. It was SO long because it wasn't busy, but it was fun to just relax with co-workers. There was one caller who wanted details on some procedures, and I am proud to say that I delivered very well. There was one consultant though that was just rude. She was telling me how to do my job, and then I was like, "I'm sorry ma'am, I'm kinda new at this!" and she was like, "Yah, I know!". I was kind of mad, but then tried to think of it, and act like she was being nice and clueing me in, so I took the comments well!

My sister and brudder are home, so that is fun! I gave Jackie strict instructions to chill out, and not do anything fun with the fam until I got home, and then I get home and Kev and Suzie are out, and Jackie, mom, and dad are ready to go to bed!! GRRRRR!! Mom tried dying my hair with this glaze stuff, and sure enough she screwed it up. She is kind of good at doing that!!

I am so tired, so I think I am going to go to bed!! Hope you all have a beautiful Thanksgiving! Can't believe Christmas is coming up too! YAH! :)

Survived today, so that was good! The people I sit by, are so nice, and in between calls, when it's quiet, we all kind of talk. Mom, don't worry, the managers don't care, since there isn't a lot of quiet time!! HA HA!

I did have one mean consultant call in an order, and she was yelling at me for the totals being off, when the computer does it for me, and I was right! She did apologize, and then she said she was going to pay later, and then called another girl I trained with and told her she wanted to cancel. Jayne, the girl I trained in with, said she was very mean to her too! GRR! There are not a lot of mean consultants we deal with, so when we get the bad one in the bunch, it's kind of annoying!

Kev came home tonight, and he's weird, but a lot of fun. He has this thing about being quiet past 10:00, and he's always like, "SHHH Kristin! What time is it?" he's weird, and that means thanksgiving is going to be SO MUCH FUN because my whole family is weird, weird is good, by the way! Jackie should be home tomorrow night, and then we can all hang out!

Still not sure about my plans after Thanksgiving. Jackie might have to leave early, so we might do birthday stuff earlier, and then I might go to Sara's, but not sure! Suzie wants to hang out, so I think we are going to do that on Saturday, and then on Sunday I think I am hanging out with Sara! Not really sure yet, when I know, or after the fact, I will post! Because I am sure all my viewers are interested, oh wait, no one comments, so not even sure who reads this! PLEASE POST! Do it for my b-day! My golden one on the 23rd, which clues you into how old I am going to be! (I'm so old, no husband, or kids either, then again 23 feels really young, so I think I am going to make it!)

Survived today, BARELY!!

Today was okay, i just didn't sleep very well last night, so I woke up late, and had to go in earlier because it's mandatory overtime on Monday's! AHHH!

I still ask for help for a lot of things, which is hard for me, because I want to know EVERYTHING, but literally EVERY question I get asked is different, and there is different answer and/or procedure!!! AHHHHH!!

I think I had very good timing of starting a new job around the holidays, plus I get paid! hooray! Today seemed to last forever though, so hopefully the next couple of days go by quickly. i am so excited about the family being together! Hopefully it goes like this: Turkey dinner at kitchen table with nice dishes, and no sports on TV, watch the dallas game, play football with the fam, watch the macy's parade (we always seem to oversleep!), play cards, hang out, talk, laugh, and EAT, of course!

Then with my b-day being Friday, I think we are going to go for pizza (of course!), watch Sound of music, everyone in my family loves that movie, except Kev, give it time though, he'll love it eventually, open presents, have brownies: I'm not much of a cake fan, maybe hang out with sara, and go get my fun supper at Mexican village, stay up late, and hang out Saturday with Suzie, relax on Sunday! YAH! I'm so excited! My family is SUPER great! I better get some much needed sleep! G'night! :)

So-so day!

I did have a good day today, just nothing out of the ordinary. Let's see I did sunday school this morning, and there are some bratty kids in there, but the others ARE SO CUTE! One more week! HOORAY!

Church was really good this morning! About the fruits of the spirit. Suzie led worship, so that was AMAZING! While she was leading she said, "Sing it out!", like my dad did when he lead worship. She said she looked at me and my eyes were SUPER wide, and she couldn't look anymore because I was laughing!!

After church I hung out with the parents! Had lunch, tried to do some Christmas decorating, but dad claims that the back of the family room is his walk-in closet, because he thinks its funny, and it so not! But he refuses to clean, and that is the spot where the tree goes, so.......

I watched some TV, read, did some laundry, watched a little skating, also I shaved my legs, not that u guys needed to know or anything! Then I went to vespers and that was fun! Great worship, as always! Then Suzie and her friend Natalya, and I went to Starbucks, I got some hot chocolate, not a coffee drinker, and talked! It was fun!

Just looking forward to this weekend! Thanksgiving will be fun with the family, and then my b-day, hang out with Suzie, hang out with Sara, and some good skating coming up next week! YAH! Just gotta get through the next couple of days! 3 days hopefully won't drag on! Have a great week! :)

Not much to post as I did NOTHING today, and ENJOYED it!

I was up SUPER late (or early this morning!) slept in ALL Afternoon, which was nice. I just ended up being a lazy bum, which I like to do every once in a while. Hung with mom for a bit. Watched some America's Next Top Model reruns, not sure why!

Hopefully mom and I do Christmas decorating tomorrow. Dad should also be home from chicago, and then probably go to vespers with suzie. I will keep you posted though!

What a beautiful day, hooray!

So today was a great day all around! It was kind of busy at first when I got to work, but then it slowed down. I think it will be nice when it's busy once I know EVERYTHING, but when it's busy and I don't know a lot of stuff, that can be kind of hard!

The people are SO nice though. I found out one of the girls is friends with Erin, and went to Crown College with her, so she's a Christian. I am SO EXCITED! Isn't the Lord amazing? We sit next to each other, and talked, during downtime, so that was really funy! The girls in our little area are SO nice. They are already trying to plan what our team is going to do for Christmas, during work, so we get some time off the phones to celebrate, so that will be fun! Lot's of really cool benefits at Creative Memories. A lot of the consultants I talked to tonight were really nice, and patient, so that always helps me do better with the call, because then I don't get so nervous.

I am just very excited about how things are going. Not sure what is going on for this weekend, quite yet. I might hang out with sara, but then mom wants help putting up the Christmas stuff, which is SO much fun, so we shall see. Dad just called from Chicago, he went there for a baseball card show, and is very excited about spending all the money he doesn't have, he was saying, "Get Ready to sell the house!" That daddy of mine!

I had a good day today! I could sleep for some reason last night, and with all of the time of controversies, I think I am just going to not go to Florida this coming year, which stinks, but I would rather go to Stars on Ice, but we shall see, dad is still working out some things.

Today was kind of bad at work, because what I sometimes have to do is take orders, and we go page by page on the order forms, and when the page totals don't match what the consultant has, then it takes FOREVER to figure out where either one of us went wrong, so one time I was SO off from the beginning, but the consultant was nice about it, and then another time I had a mean consultant go through some orders, and I always hate when someone says, "are you new?" I think I wanted this order to go well, because of the last one not going well, so I was like, "I have to be able to do orders, this is ridiculous!" Well, I got through it, but she was kind of snotty, and it totally makes a difference if you have someone nice helping you out, or someone who is being rude.

Then later on tonight I had a nice consultant call in to do an order, and this time I was ready. Of course, right away, I was like, "Oh great!" But she didn't have a lot of product and she was SUPER nice, no problems. Didn't even have to look at my cheat sheet, yah! Also it was nice and slow at work today, so I got a chance to breathe!

ALSO, there's more! I think one of my friends that I've grown up with, Erin, she just got married, well I told her I got a new job, and she said she has a friend who works there, and I think I sit next to her friend, and I think they went to the same Christian college together, so if this girl is a Christian, that would just be AMAZING! Praise the Lord!

What a good night though! I've been watching singalongs of mary poppins and Sound of Music, not sure why, but it's really fun!! YAH!

Well, I should really get going, and get some sleep! Pray for me to survive this week, YAH! How exciting! I think I am going to make it! G'night! :)

Today was kind of an iffy day! I do realize that there are going to be days where I have to talk to mean consultants, but I talked to a really rude one who gave me her credit card number, and when she gave me to many, she yelled at me, the nerve of this lady. Of course I was all nice, and "Oh I'm so sorry!" But I really feel like she was retarded! Oh well!

Also I got into some scheduling problems, already, and it's only been 3 1/2 weeks. I know they don't know that I am a reliable worker yet, things were SO much easier at PCI to get requests in and know how many days you have and all that, but it's hard because I have to write on an actual time sheet, and not have it on the computer! I have so many things coming up including Florida trip and Stars on Ice, and I think I am going to be a day short, so I need to find someone to swap there schedules, but I don't know anyone super well, and it is SO early to find someone for Feb, so we shall see! I don't want to give up both! I will keep you posted on what happens!

But defintely keep praying! At least the weekend is getting that much closer. Plus, dad is going to be gone for the weekend, and I asked Sara if she wanted to go shopping, but I think she is busy, so I think it is going to be a mother/daughter weekend, so hopefully I can get some good books, and sit by the fireplace! Good times! Maybe suzie will come over too!

Chugging away (at the new job!)

It's going pretty well, actually! I know I am kind of suprised, but usually I panick when I don't know something, and of course, I did panick. But I actually feel pretty good about what I do. Answer questions the Consultants (sellers of Creative Memories scrapbook stuff) like incentives, products, host questions, inactivity, take some orders, and send some replacement orders, etc.

The people we do business with ARE SO NICE, what a change from the distributors I dealt with at PCI!! HA!

There were a couple of consultants that knew I was new right away, which I hate, and they wanted to talk to someone else because I didn't know what they were talking about, but it's kind of like, "I need to learn this", but I guess I understand!

the people are really nice, and my boss Jessica is super nice and funny too! They are pretty laid back too, especially when it's not busy, which they said has kind of been lately because of the holidays, which is fine by me, I guess I came at a good time.

That's my job! My original date to start was supposed to be yesterday, so I am glad that I am already moving along!!!

I'm kind of excited about this weekend, not sure what is going on, but I need some jeans (we get to wear jeans at work, and guess who doesn't have a lot, and had to dress up today, GRRR!), so I will probably go to Fashion Bug with Sara, at least I hope so!

Friday:
It will be weird to work so late on Fridays, I always worked until 6:00 on Fridays at PCI, but after that maybe get together with Sara. Dad is going to be gone for the weekend, so maybe mom and I will do some catching up, since I am working late!

Saturday:
If don't get together with Sara on Friday, probably Saturday! No MORE WORKING SATURDAY'S, hooray!

Beautiful day, hooray!!

I was so nervous before work, I even took some pepto bismo, because I was feeling so sick, but the GOOD NEWS, it went SO well! YAH!

The people I work with are so nice! They help me out, and just are so great! YAH! My boss wanted to talk to me, and I thought I did something wrong, but she just wanted to say that I'm doing a good job, and that I sound really professional! That was so exciting! I think I am going to like working at CM, I just need to get more things figured out!

I talked to Salvy this morning, was trying to convince him to get a job with me! We shall see!

When I got home I found out that Hanley wrecked my room! GRRR! He is so charming, its ridiculous! I miss him and brother, they are SO funny!

Well, keep praying! I know I will have bad days, and good ones, so keep at it! I'll try to keep the worrying to a minimum!! HA HA! :)

The great weekend continues, and panicking about my 1st official day!

Wow! What a great day today! Suzie and I went to the early service this morning! I was going to go to Westwood with Jenny, but then Suzie and I ended up hanging out! She's going through some rough times, so....

Sunday School was okay, but there is one kid who is a little brat, but my mom put him in his place, by yelling at him! He also broke his brothers arm the other day, and he's only 7! When is Sunday School over?!??! The other kids are SUPER cute though!

After church Suzie and I hung out, and played a little football! She was around all weekend, but I didn't get to see her a lot since she was with Kev, so it was kind of our time to catch up!

After she left, I watched some skating! I found out later that Bria was waiting for me to come back to the church, so we could eat lunch at the fellowship dinner, whoops! kev told me when he got home last night! Talk about feeling badly! :(

Then later on I just sat around, ate some supper, watched some TV with my parents, and ended up going to Vespers. I met Suzie, Jenny, and suzie's new roomate there! I ended up staying pretty late, which was nice to catch up with Jenny, since I haven't seen her for a couple weeks!

When I got home I was about to go to bed, when I found out that Hanley was coming over with Kev! That was SO much fun! Haven't seen him since he left for school over the summer. He's his same, crazy self! I kept teasing him for finally getting facebook, because he said he never would! HA!

When Hanley spends the night, he sleeps with Kev in his bed, and it's SO cute! I took a picture too, even though Hanley was against it!!

Well, now it is Monday morning, and I am feeling very nervous and nausecous about my first "official" day on the floor! AHHH! I need all the prayers that I can get! The people are really nice, but I just want to know what I am doing, even though it's only been 3 weeks!! I will fill you guys in when I get home on how it went!!

The great weekend, continued!

Wow, what can I say about today, "It was LAZY!" Which I enjoyed very much!

I got plenty of sleep, which was wonderful!! When I woke up Kev, Suzie, and my mom were watching Man From Snowy River, and that started the movie day! I caught the end, which is okay with me, I don't think it's the greatest movie out there!

After that dad convinced us to go for a drive to the gravel pit, which was okay, but of course the guys LOVED it! Us girls were just like, "Can we go yet?"

Ha ha!

After that we watched some football! I hung out with Suzie, and dad ordered pizza, while we were waiting I helped suzie get ready for her date with Kev, and she looked SO cute, even though she ALWAYS does! She had a meeting to go to, so when she left we watched Remember the Titans, and then her and Kev left, and dad made me watch Psycho, which was an odd movie!

After that I just bummed around with my parents, and I also took a bubble bath with a book, and now I am getting ready for bed! I am kind of getting nervous about going back to work on Monday, so if you could pray for me, I would really appreciate it! Tomorrow will probably be a continuation of what went on today! Church, not sure which one though, might be Kimball, might be Westwood in St.Cloud, I'll let ya know! Watch some skating, study my training manual, watch the Cowboys with the family, and go to Vespers, which I haven't been in a couple of weeks, so that will be good to go to, especially because I get my new night schedule, so it will be nice to sleep in again! YAH!

Thanks to all who've been praying for me these past couple of weeks as I've began to transition from an old job to a new one! Today was actually a very good day! We started out scrapbooking, which was a lot of fun! We also had a pizza party. Kind of a farewell to training and all that!

After lunch we got on the phones, and I was kind of nervous, but I know it's just going to take time to get into the swing of things. The people though are super nice, and are always ready to answer questions, which is helpful to me, since I haven't been the new person in 3 1/2 years! AHH!!

Also, little Zac called me when he was on break, so we chatted for 10 minutes during our breaks, that was cool!

I just came home tonight, and I am just relaxing, and it feels really good. I am so tired, so I think I might head to bed soon! Tomorrow I think suzie and I are going to go shopping, and more relaxing! Kev's home, so that's been fun, even though I haven't seen him since he got home.

Well, here's hopping I don't forget everything over the weekend! I'll keep you updated on the things going on around me! Bye! :)

I was on the phones ALL DAY TODAY! Needless to say it was quite stressful! I had a trainer with me all day, but it is hard to hear someone in one ear, and someone else in another ear!!! Now I know if I ever train again, when I figure this stuff out, I need to work on that!!

I was on the phone by myself for the last half hour, and it went okay! I kind of hung up on somebody, accidentially. The phones are on the computer, and it's going to take some getting used too! But I did take an order, and that went well, so yah!!! (I Hope!)

Well, my weekend seems to have gotten a bit busier!! I think Suzie is coming over tomorrow night, and Saturday night! And my friend Jenny wants me to go to church with her, and my mom wants me to go to the early service of our church, so I feel like double has been added to my weekend, and I just want to study my training manual, and relax, so we shall see what happens!

Tomorrow is a relaxing day though, we are scrapbooking until 2:30, having a pizza party, and then going on the phones from 3:00-6:30, so I will probably be by myself, so please keep praying for me! It is greatly appreciated!!! :)

What a day!

It started out good! Met up with my co-workers and we got a tour of the factory, so that was pretty interesting, and LOUD, and BIG too!!

After that we went back to the home office, which is what they call it, and then we got trained on a few more things, took a lunch, and were told we were going to get on the phones!!! AHHH!!

It went good though. I had a nice girl sitting with me, and she was very helpful and nice!! Some others didn't get the nicest girls, so I was glad for me!!! Tomorrow we are going to be on the phones with a buddy, and then by ourselves, so I could defintely use the prayers!!

After work I went to Sara's and she gave me cheap tickets, so we went to see some stupid Martian Child movie, if you go, DON't!! Some parts were funny, but for the most part it was lame!! I'm just saying!

Now I am home, and not feeling so well (Maybe because of tomorrow?!?!) not really sure, but hopefully things continue to go well!! The Lord has blessed me so much, so I hope that I continue to catch up!! It's A LOT of info, it literally took 1 1/2 weeks to get trained on the basics, yes I said THE BASICS, once we feel comfortable we get trained on other components, such as the digital world and custom framing worlds! The framing seems cool, but is very complex, so we shall see!!

but I better get some sleep! I am so TIRED! G'night! :)

I am still surviving! YAH!! Work went pretty good! I think I am more anxious to get on the phone, so I can get it out of the way, and not worry about it!! Ha ha!

I went to sara's after work because I have to go to our CM factory and take a tour, but I am not quite sure how to get there, so Sara drove me out there tonight! We are going to go see a movie tomorrow night, so I'm excited about that. Break up the routine a bit!

Still hanging in there!!

I survived my first Monday at Creative Memories. It was funny how my day started out though. Suzie spent the night, and she got up before me, and when I got in the shower, the power went out. I kind of got the conditioner out, but not really!!! GRRR!! suzie is a hair genius though, and she made me look decent!

Work went okay! We learned some interesting things about consultants, which took literally 4 hours, but it was the same woman that trained us last week, her name is Lisa, and she is really funny and energetic!!

I also got my new cubicle today, so that was cool! I can start bringing in pictures, and decorating. It only took me 1 1/2 to get a desk at PCI!!! HA HA! No radios are allowed though, I'm not sure what I am going to do in regards to no Christmas music, and no Twins games next year, AHHH! At least I have until next year to figure it out!!

I bring home my materials I get from work each day, and I kind of feel like I am catching on, so that makes me feel better! They just have so many systems, it's ridiculous!!!

They want us to get on the phones on Thursday, and all of us looked at each other like, "Are you kidding?!?!" It was kind of funny! At least the trainers are really nice and supportive!!

Well, I should really get to bed, I didn't get a lot of sleep last night, and chances are that I won't get up in the morning because the power will go out or something. I got home and it was freezing because of the fireplace not working, and the oven was broke, so we couldn't cook!! AHH! But I kind of hung out with dad and watched some sports stuff, I am kind of shocked, but I kind of like football now, crazy I know!!!

Also, it snowed, not hard or anything, but I was crabby about that too! Also, I can't get rid of this darn cold!! AHH! When is the insanity going to stop!! Keep praying! :)

Went to church with Kevy, so that was good! Was a little late due to oversleeping, but still helped with sunday school for awhile!!

After church Suzie came over, and while she studied I looked over training stuff, and watched the race and football games with dad and Kev!

mom made french toast, which she never does, since she doesn't cook! We watched the cowboys play, and they won, and Tony was great!! YAH!

At halftime Suzie and I went and got ice cream, again a good time was had! We are making plans to go shopping next weekend, so yah!!!!

Kevy was fun all weekend, so that was good! Sometimes he can be moody, but this time he was "Mr. Family Man!"

I just wanted to write everything, because I should be sleeping, but I woke up, and thought I would write to y'all, and now I am going back to bed!! G'night everyone! :)

what a great weekend!!

It continued last night with a talk with Kevy! He is so cute, he was all saying the whole, "I'm a family man, I've changed!" because it is SO funny! I love when he comes home, we always have good conversations!!

Today was more of a relaxing day! I read, watched some TV, and took a bubble bath, and just chilled out!! It was very nice! Also, we are getting to get an extra hour of sleep!! I am so excited!!

Well, i think I am going to study up on some work things, and go to bed!

A great was to be had!!! YAH! :)

It started out kind of rough with doing some review games on the MANY programs we've learned this week, and my team is not doing well, so that kinda stinks, but then we got a full tour of the building, not just CSR's (Consultant Services Rep!) area upstairs, so that was cool.

We also got trained on the digital programs, even though we won't be answering questions, so that is nice, so we got to play around with the programs, and stuff, and it was pretty cool!! Lot's of cool programs!! There are a lot of nice people there, the lady training us on the digital stuff, is so nice and really funny!! She sounds kinda southern!

They are so understanding though about overloading us with information, but the better news is that we've been trained on almost everything, so it's nice to know that next week we will just be trying to remember everything!! So I feel good about today! I think I can do this!

I feel like I am getting a cold though, so I think this weekend I will study Creative Memories stuff, relax, and try to get over this cold. I have cough drops and orange juice. If there is anything else I should be drinking, eating, or whatever, let me know!!

Thank you for your prayers you guys! I feel like, in Jackie's words, "Kristin can do anything she puts her mind too!!" Running joke in our family, is that only Jackie thinks that, which isn't true, but I know my families been praying, and i want to thank them and others who have! I feel like I should get some recognition for surviving my first week! i'll let you know when I get on the phones, and we will go from there!! Have a great weekend! :)

Happy Belated Halloween!!

I actually had a really good day yesterday! Still surviving at the new job. actually after I got done at work, I went back to PCI to drop off some 401K transfer forms and I got to see everyone, and that was both hard and fun, and a little sad too! Of course Scott was all mean about me being there and all, "Former employees are not allowed to be on the floor!" but he said it jokingly. I got to see him, little Zac, Salvy, Jessamyn, Heidi, Andy, and others. It was SO fun!!! It was nice to be there, and not have to work! I was there for about half an hour, but it was so hard because I don't work there anymore, if that makes sense!!

When I got home though, Jackie was around, so that was fun, and the Suzie came over, and it was fun!! We are trying to plan what we are doing for Thanksgiving, because we still are not sure if we are going to grandma's or not, so we shall see!!

Today was an okay day too!! Everyone in our training group is feeling drained, so I think that helps, because I don't feel like I am the only one not catching on, because there are so many programs, and things to learn!!

But there are so many good benefits of being at CM: Could go to regional convention for consultants and get paid, could volunteer for 2 days every year, and get paid for it. I got a cute cubicle (or pod as they call it!) The people are super nice, and next week we have a scrapbook day, and get paid for it, and then on December 1st I get overtime to go in and scrapbook, a lot of benefits, just gotta get used to the work!! Which hopefully will come SOON, I am not very patient!!!

GUESS WHAT?!?!?


The weekends tomorrow, and I don't EVER work weekends again! YAH! :)

I survived my first day!!

YAH!!!

It was good, bad, nerve-wracking, and stressful!! They have a TON of products, which is great for me to buy, but hard to remember EVERYTHING, granted it is just the first day!

The people are really nice though, and I recognized one of the ladies, as someone who I trained in at PCI, but quit, so that was crazy!!

At the end of training next week we are going to have a scrapbook and pizza party, so that was very cool!! The building inside, is well, very creative!!!

There are a lot of programs they use, and I do feel kind of stressed out, but I know when I get familiar with everything it will all be good!!

They have a gym, so I was going to use that, but found out that I can't cancel my gym membership and I don't get the discount anymore, so I am kind of upset about that, grrrrrrrr!!!

Will fill you guys in on more of the going on's at Creative Memories, when I know more myself!! Bye! :)

BEAUTIFUL DAY TODAY!!

What a great day!

It started out with me running late for church, and I had nursery duty, whoops!! The person who is supposed to be there, was not, and I was late, so lot's of people thought there was no one in the nursery, which could be a good thing, since I only got 2 cute boys toward the end, and they played very well together.

Caught up with Suzie in between the service and sunday school. I actually felt the urge to pray for her and her ex-boyfriend last night, and then she told me that she saw him Saturday and it was kind of hard, I told her about my praying for her, God's amazing, isn't he?!?!?

After that mom and I (more mom!) taught sunday school and that was okay, Kids were kind of annoying, but oh well!!

After church mom and I went shopping for my first day tomorrow, and that was fun! We found a lot of clothes at Fashion Bug (AHHHHH!!!!) and then mom took me out to eat for lunch, so it was fun!

When we got home, found Suzie cleaning our house, doing dishes, and laundry, why?!?? I'm not really sure?!?!

We hung out for the afternoon, and then we took naps, and I watched skating, which wasn't very good.

I am now getting ready for starting my new job tomorrow! More excited than nervous, which is new for me?!?! I am requesting everyone's prayers! Found out Jackie is coming home wednesday night, and I am being trained in, in the morning, and then Kev is coming home this weekend, and now I AM DONE WORKING WEEKENDS!! YAH!! Well, keep praying! Also, last deal I ever looked at for underwriting at PCI, was for Ali, and I asked for more income or a qualified cobuyer! SOME THINGS REALLY DON'T CHANGE!! HA HA! :)

Good last day at PCI! Sad, but good!

I jotted down some notes while I was at work for my last day at PCI, so here they are:

Woke up a little later than usual, but still go to work early. Got my bangs to look REALLY cute this morning! Got into traffic really well this morning, Good song on radio: Amazing Grace Version by Chris Tomlin, so that made me feel better. Last time parking in the lot, last time clocking in!! Not really sad yet, don't think its sunk in.

Emailed some buddies, saying basically what a sad day!! Started my meeting notes, last time I will ever do those! Kind of feeling nausecous, not sure how I am going to feel by end of day, if I will be crying or trying not to! Ernie just talked to me, asked if I was ready for my new job and all that, and then said we will talk later?!?! Not sure what that means!

I'm gonna go walk around and talk to some friends, it was fun! Hung out with Heidi and Corey! Couldn't find Vicki though, will have to talk to her later! :)

Was unplugging my radio, and I hit something on my computer, and then plugged it in wrong. Thought I lost all the sentimental stuff that I've been writing, but I still have it!! Yah! :)

Josh is over here bugging Robert, and it is kind of amusing!!!Doing some underwriting, and clearing more stuff from my desk! Looked at my first underwriting deal for the day for Quinn, and sent it to SH, some things NEVER change! :)

Corey just gave me a quiz to do about him, since I claimed to know him so well, and I failed, miserably!!!! It was pretty funny! :)

I sent out a group email just to say bye to everyone, and everyone was really nice!! Sent a personalized one to Josh, and he sent a nice one back!! Got an underwriting email from Josh, somethings really DON'T Change!! :)

How do you get in trouble on your last day, I think Ernie was joking, but he was all, "Do that on your break please!!" when Anne and I were looking online for ordering pizza! Kinda funny, I think so!! :)

Ernie sent around an email telling everyone it'll be a lot quieter around here without me, which was funny!!

Took a couple zips, and it was fun!!! One guy said that he hasn't talked to me in awhile, no idea who, thought that was kind of cool because he ended up being my last zip ever at PCI!!

This is getting ridiculous, Judy just kind of "yelled" at me because I told PCI that if they wanted any scrapbook stuff, to let me know, and she said I could get fired for that!!!

Lunch was REALLY fun and good! Only problem Anne had to answer the phones and we didn't eat together, but it was fun chatting with Andy Hoheisel!!

Corey tried to take the chair from out under me, but it didn't work, AGAIN, he tries a lot, and has never been successful!! YAH! Also Angie told him "That he took a ten, 17 minutes ago!"

Zac and Marta are sitting next to me, and I love them, I'm going to miss them! I just took a picture of Zac working with cute "oh" Mai in the background!!

Arnaldo just called Zac a "Mama's boy!" claiming he will never leave his mom's place! I'm gonna miss Arnaldo! :)

Of course the other bureaus went down! Of course, on my last day, when I'm working and I HATE THE OTHER BUREAUS! :)

Marta was humming "So Long, farewell, since that was the title of my "good bye" email!!"

I just said "bye" to the client liaisons: Heidi, Andy, and Corey! Still can't find Vicki!! I finally found Vicki!! YAH! :)

Started to say "Bye!" to people! Ernie gave me a hug good bye, which was kinda awkward. Scott told everyone there was a pot going for when I will be back. when Ernie asked him about it, he admited that it was just a joke, of course! Scott said he's going to miss the fun we had, which I think he was serious!!

Heidi came into work and then we went out to Perkins for supper together, Jessamyn was going to go, but her grandma just died, so I didn't push it!! Actually Heidi and I tried applebee's first, but it was so busy!

I still have some forms to return to PCI, so I will be back there on monday, probably, unless I go tomorrow!!

PCI has been SO MUCH FUN! I am going to miss everyone so much, but hopefully i meet others at Creative Memories!

Didn't do much else on Friday night, went to bed early, I know shocking, right Sara!!

Saturday:

Kind of an easy day, just taking it easy before I start my new job! Slept in, watched some skating and hung out. Then mom, dad, and I sat down and filled out ALL OF MY PAPERWORK for starting CM on monday, it TOO FOREVER, but it was fun too!!

Okay day today!

Tomorrow is my last day as a PCI worker!! How sad, I came home and cried because I had to say good-bye to some friends who don't work Fridays!

The morning started out not so well, kind of overslept, and then dad was watching the traffic, since they are doing some road construction around here, and it felt like when I was little and he always watched for the bus!!!! It brought me back!!

I sat by Roberto and Abby, and took a break with Jessamyn, and she found out her grandmother died, so she was going through a rough time, and eventually left for the day. Please pray for her and her family. Her grandma lives in the Phillipines, and Jessamyn can't go back because of classes and work. Her and I are getting together tomorrow night over my last day, but I am not sure if that is going to happen or not!!

Roberto ended up taking me out to lunch, so that was fun! He doesn't speak the best english, but it was still fun!!

Afterward though, it got really busy and I took some zips, but it is very hard to work with someone and be busy working on other stuff, so I am nervous about my starting a new job, and having to be the newbie!! AHHH!!

Also there is still some drama going on, and since it was so busy, there was not time to have fun!! I do hope tomorrow is a good day, but I am definetly going to need prayers, so please pray!!

I also gave my PCI Hermey figurine to Jason. He wanted it really bad, and even made a little bed for him. Jason told me to write up a Child Custody paper and he would sign it. I will try and copy and paste it, it is hilarious!! I had to say bye to Jason since he is off tomorrow, and I almost started to cry in front of him, he is so funny!!

Well wish me luck getting through my last day at PCI, and pray for me to get through that and my new job starting Monday, which no BREAK! Ahh!! thanks! :)

Much better day today!

But it is SO sad because I am getting closer to my time at PCI ending! I did get a package of information from Creative Memories to fill out for benefits, and insurance and all that, so I am getting excited, but a little nervous!

Had fun today! Sat by Jessamyn, Abby and Roberto in the morning. And then Amber came in, so obviously she sat by me, and then little Zac too! Less drama today, so that was good!

Took some more pictures. Found out that Hrba (Heidi B!) got moved closer to me, just a few rows away, and she was like, "Why now, when you are leaving?" my thoughts EXACTLY!

I am going to miss everyone so much! Salvy, Zac, Heidi B, Heidi S, Mai (pronoucation Oh my!), Jessamyn, Marta, Mishay, big corey, little cory, Scott (a little bit!), Josh, Abby, Isabel, Arnaldo, Tim, Maria, Giovanni, Jason (He's HILARIOUS!), Sheena and her plant Bruce, who is just holding on for dear life, Liz, and everyone else! I told Tim today that it felt like a big "PCI family" and he said that it would suck around the holidays because there are so many of us, I just laughed!!

It's gonna be SO HARD to leave, but I (right now!) am feeling good about Creative Memories. the only real concern I have is that I have been answering the phone for the past 3 1/2 years by saying, "Preferred Credit, this is Kristin. How can I help you?" Now I am trying to program myself to say "Creative Memories!" Don't worry, I will fill you all in on Monday night, as to what happened!!

What a difference a day makes!

Didn't have the best day at work!! Too much drama! Please pray, thanks! :(

A great day was had at PCI!!

What a good day! I woke up this morning (actually this afternoon) kind of feeling sick, like "What am I doing leaving PCI, and the familar", and then later tonight it just hit me that I am doing something good for me. Maybe it was God telling me "I've always planned for you to work at Creative Memories, you just were stubborn and wouldn't listen to me, AGAIN!"

Today was great, my friend Heidi (hrba, PCI initials!) and I went to lunch together, and that was so much fun. Out of all my PCI friends I think we are the closest, and we just talked forever, and then discovered that we were late getting back! Her dad is going through some health concerns regarding his leg, so please pray! She is actually trying for my old position which makes me more sad, because she works in a different department, so I was like, "I wish you always worked in CP" because I am 100% sure she will get my old job, but then she reminded me that if I didn't leave she would still be in another department because that position wouldn't be open!!!

I am also working with Amber, the recently new hire, and I feel like she reminds me of me when I started at PCI, and I think I know in my head that going to a new job will be scary and crazy and nervewracking and all that, but if i give it time, like I did at PCI, after awhile, it will get better. I feel good that I am doing this for me, sure i love my co-workers and we have so much fun, but I HATE what I do, so I feel like I am doing this for me, and it feels good and scary, of course!!! My dad was telling me how proud he was of me because he's been at his job for 34 years, and that he said I had guts for leaving something I hate, but know, and trying something new. My dad and I are alike in that we both HATE change, sure I could stay at my job forever, but not be happy, but the bonus is that I can ALWAYS get together with my co-workers, sure it won't be the same as seeing them everyday, but if I get off my butt and call, we can make plans, and then I can do a job I love and meet more people that I will learn to love. I am very bad at getting in contact with people I don't see, but I think I am working at that. I've been trying for awhile to more involved and to reach outside of my little shell, since i deal with a very bad case of SHYNESS!! It's ridiculous! With God by my side, I can do anything or to be exact

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!" Phillipians 4:13!!!

Also, I have to remember my favorite verse, "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself" Matthew 6:34b (A favorite of mine, and good reminder!)

Also, I was cleaning through my cubicle today, and I am such a packrat, that I found things I saved from 3 1/2 YEARS AGO! Crazy I know, but it was so fun to look at some old memories, and share them with others, and remember them with those who are still there. It was actually a lot of fun, since I thought I would be sad, but it was good! After I got everything organized, I set up kind of a store that I called "Used Goods Store" and emailed my closest co-workers and told them to come and get whatever they wanted. I had everything from pens to some old lotion that someone gave to me, I think Ernie, and it smells really bad and I think it's from literally 3 1/2 years ago, a lot of people got a kick out of it. I told people to come visit only when the store is open this week, when I work, and to come get stuff and hang out for a few minutes! I put a closed sign on my desk after I left for the night! It's going to be so sad to leave, but I have a c0-worker that worked at Creative Memories, and she has been telling me about all the great things to look forward to, which excites me!

A fabulous weekend HAD!!!

This morning the worship was so good at church. A bunch of guys from our church sang, so that was pretty cool. Sunday School went well too! Got to catch up with some of my friends, including Jackie, who was the one who had the baby shower, so that was fun!

pretty much this afternoon was spent cleaning out my closest, watching tv, and lounging around. I also watched dallas win over the vikings, it's a family thing. I don't usually like football, but now I kind of do!!

Then I went to Suzie's place and she made me dinner! Her friend Jed was there, and he is SO HILARIOUS! We all had a good time. After dinner we played Taboo, and Suzie was giving me a clue and she said "Nice afternoon outside, and this object is colorful!" and right away I said, "A Kite?" it was so funny because Jed was like, "What the heck?!?"

After Taboo we went to Vespers, and it was great as always! the worship is phenomonal, and there was also a testimony tonight which was okay!

After vespers we all went back to Suzie's house, since her aunt was on vacation we had the house to ourselves, and we snacked and listened to Jed tell his crazy stories!! He proceeded to tell us about his cat biuses, not sure of the spelling, and how this cat was horrible. He said he was like an Italian mobster and a black gangsta all mixed together, and his voice impersonations were so funny. When he told stories, they literally took forever, but Suzie and I were eating popcorn and listening, and it felt like we were at a movie! Good times!

Now the week is coming up, and I am actually wanting it to go by SLOWLY! I think this is the only time you will hear that from me! I am going to miss my co-workers SO MUCH! But I feel good that I am transferring to another job for a position that I will enjoy, so I feel good that I am doing something, instead of just staying at PCI, because of the people! So PLEASE PRAY! I would appreciate it very much! Love ya all!

Good week of work: Week 1 since turning in my notice!!

Ahh, it's been a crazy week! I am sad, excited, nervous, and anything else you can think of regarding leaving PCI and going to creative memories.

I had such a good weekend.

On Friday I slept in, chatted and took a nap with momma, and then went to my friend Vicki's house, and that was really fun. Her daughter is SO cute!!

Then I worked my last weekend EVER, and it was fun! I sat by Marta and Cory, and we talked and hung out, and worked too!! Then I sat by Jessamyn and we talked and hung out! It's going to be so hard to leave everyone, but I am very glad to leave my underwriting, because it is so HORRIBLE!! I will be glad to be doing something different!

Well, I am tired, so I am going to go to bed!! LOVE!!

Hanging in there!

Hi guys! just wanted to let you know that I am hanging in there! I am very sad about leaving PCI, but kind of excited about what Creative Memories has in store for me. I am glad that I am leaving my little "shell" so to speak, but very nervous, so I would appreciate the double time prayers. Scott thought I put in a 2 day notice, which is weird, so on Tuesday as he was leaving, he said "It's been a privilege working with you!" then left. On Wednesday when he came in and saw me he was wondering what I was doing there. I told him it was a 2 week notice, not 2 days, who does 2 days?!?! I told him I was going to miss him in a way, and he said "That's too bad, it means I haven't been doing a good job!" He's crazy!

It's been kind of nice to be able to have the freedom to sit anywhere, so it will be fun to sit by different groups of people, instead of in my little corner!

I took Salvy and Mai out for lunch today, so that was fun. I am trying to plan to go on lunch dates with everyone this last week, so hopefully that happens. Zac said he was going to miss me, and that almost made me cry! He said we can text each other while we are supposed to be working, don't worry mom, I won't! :)

Go to childhood buddy Jackie (miller) Klaehn's baby shower, I can't believe she is having a baby. Reminder to get a gift sometime this weekend!

Try not to panick about last week at PCI!

I'll keep you guys informed of how things are going. I am probably going to have to go through my cubicle soon, which is going to be fun because of the memories, but very sad!

MY NEWS REVEALED!!!

I got a new job! I didn't want to jinx it or anything by saying it before they actually offered it. I am excited, but so scared, nervous, petrified, and every other nervousness word you can think of. I have been at PCI for the last 3 1/2 years, and will miss the people SO much. I thought it was hard telling my boss Ernie, but now telling everyone has been so sad!! I love the responses I've been getting, and it makes me feel good that people want me to stick around, but I really feel like I gave underwriting a chance (1 1/2 years!) but I just did not enjoy it. I keep telling my co-workers to come with me.

I feel good about the decision I've made, and actually I had to get drug tested this morning for Creative Memories, before going to work. I don't know how everything I go through something seems to go not well, but it ends up being funny. There were signs to not flush the toliet when done providing my sample, and what did I do?! That's right folks, I flushed that darn toliet!! I told the lady, and said "It was a habit!" but I think she was having a bad day and something like that might cause more trouble or something, oh well!!

I turned in my notice on Monday, so I have until next Friday, and some co-workers want to plan a going away party, but they always get so crazy and drunk, that I think I am going to say no, but I feel like crying sometimes because I am going to miss everyone, but I do hope that I make some friends at Creative Memories!! Please pray for me, I am very scared and could use the prayers and support! I will post more later, need to go to bed! Love ya!

What a FABULOUS weekend!!

Yah, so much to write!! I will start off by saying that Thursday went very well. Thanks for the prayers, it was actually nerve wracking and funny all at the same time, but that's a different story!

Friday:

Good day at work! Training went well with my new hire Amber, she is really nice and funny! After work I got home and Suzie was there, and we were waiting for Sara, so we could go to the Kimball football game. It was the first time they met, but it went really well!! The game was actually really fun too, and we sat by Penny, who is a friend of mine from church and she gave us wonderful relationship advice, I love that she always asks me if I am still batting the guys away, to me that is HILARIOUS, since there are like NO guys!! Oh well!! Kimball actually won too, and the game was pretty exciting, I got to see some old teachers and classmates, it's always a little weird to go back there, but it was fun!

After the game Suzie and Sara came over and we hung out and talked. I really wanted to talk to Suzie about God, and kind of plant a seed with sara, but I am not sure how successful we were!!

I woke up when Kev got home, and we talked for like 3 hours, it was great! I really want to develop a better relationship with him, and he said that he would take a bullet for me, and that he was sorry for being a jerk while growing up, and that he is know a "Family man!" it was pretty funny!! :)

Saturday:

Suzie spent the night Friday, since she had to work really early on Saturday morning, and this is horrible, but my alarm clock didn't go off, which GRRRR, was not good for her. Dad said it seemed like me being late, as usual, to work!!

After I woke up I was kinda lazy, and then I played football with Kevy. It was a lot of fun. I actually kind of discovered this weekend, that football isn't so bad, which is pretty crazy! Then mom joined us, and soon we all went to the back of the farm where the gravel pit is, and climbed up the hill. It was a HARD workout. Mom didn't make it up all the way, but the view from the top was pretty cool. Saturday was just all around great, just hanging out with my family, except Jackie, we missed you!!

After that I went to St. Cloud and worked out, so that was good, and then came home and went to bed early for church in the morning!! I know, still craziness!!

Sunday:

Church was fabulous this morning. Suzie was leading worship, and something my dad used to do when he lead worship was say "Sing it out now!" into the mike, and then step away so the others would not be able to hear his voice, and she said she wanted to do it a couple times, but didn't! I told her it would've been hilarious if she did!

The sermon was really good today and really tugged at me. Basically saying can you imagine your friends/family that don't know Jesus in Hell, and it really hit me hard because I am not the best witnesser, so hopefully it will get my butt into shape to start doing better!!

After church I took the family out for lunch out our towns dinky little restaraunt, but it was really fun! Kind of a time to drill Kevin on his life.

Then later Suzie came over, and we took naps, and watched skating, while she studied. It was a lot of fun, we ended up watching part of the Dallas Cowboys game, because I LOVE Tony Romo and then dad made us watch Rainman, since she had never seen it, but we had to go to Vespers in the middle of it, sorry dad!

Vespers was great, and now I am home writing to you guys! It was a great weekend, and I will fill everyone in SOON on what has been really going on with me! I love you all SO much!! Bye! :)

WHOA, what a day!

Where do I begin?!?! How 'bout the beginning, so here it goes:

Training went well! The new hire (Amber!) is so nice, and she is catching on and it is her first day?!?! Well then I found out my training session was going to be monitored, and it could've gone a lot better!! AHHH!

Work was okay, just LONGGGGG!!

I have a lot of things coming up (which include a haircut, ahhh!) so I really need prayers, not so much for the haircut, but other things. I know I've talked about this before, but I would really love my little cave and snuggle up in it, and be left alone! I am trying to be more involved and letting go and being more out there, which I think is because of Suzie. It's been wonderful opening up to another Christian, and just being like, "I've missed out on this one on one Christian fellowship from someone outside of my family", so it's been great!

I am actually excited about this weekend, the plans include:

Kimball Homecoming Football Game with Sara and Suzie meeting, yah!

Hanging out probably at my house Friday night!

Saturday I have off, so I am going to hang out with brother, and I told him we better toss the football around, so that will be fun! Mom is planning another prodigal son day, get it (Sunday!) where she cooks and we are probably going to play cards, and just be together, JACKIE COME HOME!!! We are also going to be cleaning out the closet for the pony room (hooray, sarcastically of course!)

Also Vespers has been wonderful, and it has been so great meeting the other people that go there. I have been working early, and so far the getting up early has gone well, even though it's only been one day!!

I've just been feeling really overwhelmed with decisions about my future, and after the some what okay day today I just wanted to melt, so I hung out with mom tonight, and she is so great at helping me! I love her to pieces! We eventually ended up cuddling in her bed, which happens with every family member, trust me, fitting 5 grown adults (we are grown, ahhhh!) in there bed is a tight squeeze, but wonderful! We eventually talked everything out, and then she started doing her evil laugh, and it was just great to be LAUGHING after what has transpired this week, and it's only Tuesday. I told Sara I am going to start calling it the KFOS disease, which means Kristin Freaking Out Syndrome!!! It's true though, and I think God just is trying to get my attention and that when tough things are coming, or when I am struggling with something, he wants me to go to him and no one or nothing else, which is very hard, and something I am defintely going to keep praying about!!
